Here is the top 2 e-commerce that dominates the e-commerce industry. I have some little information about this because we use this as our thesis in our school. But first what is E-commerce in my basic definition.
E-commerce is a process of buying and selling produce by electronic which means such as by mobile applications and the internet. And it helps the seller to have an online products that can sell to the buyers using online. Online products are important were the customer and the seller get a better way to serve their products in easy way by using online applications. Most of the buyers and the sellers use online technologies for online business transactions. Online shopping directly buy goods or services from a seller over the internet using a browser.
Today, there are lots of new online apps that can use to buy any products we want specially this current situation of pandemic like Shopee, Lazada, Grabfood, Food Panda and many more. But today I found in my research that the top 5 e-commerce for the month of August based on the site named "similiar web" The first in the rankings and the most useful app in the industry of e-commerce is no other than
Shopee PH, we all know that shopee is the most used app of all the e-commerce because the strategy of advertising shopee especially in the televisions and social medias are very effective because the commercial is a very good tactics to attract buyers to look at the Shopee Site or app. And also we know that shopee have a most trusted and quality product because they have a good customer service. And in my own experience the shopee customer service response me about 2 minutes before they assist me and it so fast compared to other apps. And the other thing is they have a lot of vouchers, free shipping and discounts that attracts the buyers to buy and use the shopee more, and also they have a shopee mall which is the products are authentic.
Next on the rank is Lazada PH, Lazada are the first e-commerce that rapidly dominates the rank and the first effective e-commerce in the Philippines. Lazada shopping app is older than Shopee. The advantage of Lazada is they also have a vouchers and discount like Shopee. It's almost the same like Shopee app but the weaker side of Lazada for me is they have less advertisement in television than Shopee. And also I experienced one time that my order already received in appbut I didn't have received any item so I prefer to buy at Shopee. The customer service is okay because the customer service responded within a day. So I think this is the reason why shopee still at the rank 1 in the e-commerce industry Note: Customer service and Shop contacts are different.

Amazon, is an international app but it is like a Shopee and Lazada. Amazon is the most used e-commerce in the world but not here in the Philippines because we have an own shopping site.
Carousel, this app is commonly known especially when you want to sell a products specially a second hand product because they have no fees when you want to sell something unlike other apps.
Alibaba, This app is like an Amazon, an international app and one of the most used e-commerce in the world.
And that is the top 5 e-commerce and shopping sites in the Philippines 2020. I think there is a new e-commerce that will joined Lazada and Shopee soon because of there is a lot of new competitive apps like Zalora, Zilingo and many more.
Shopee is the most trend for people because of the cheap price they offer but shopee does not have that much security in parcel that it crash box or sometime the objects. Lazada on the other hand, was careful in handling the parcel so it safe till its delivery. But other people make fake videos that they receive fake items. They do that to gain views and attention to people.
