People often say, that life is like a roller coaster. On one occasion we are up and other time we are down and in between we are twisted, turned, accelerated up and slowed down. All these situations, that happen to us in life, fill us up with adrenaline, that causes stress, excitement, danger and threat while we live a fast paced life. That's exactly what happens on a roller coaster.
I am on my early 40's and I can confidently say, that I have seen a lot and have gone through so many different things in my life. Who hasn't by this age? I don't want to rush ahead too much. Let's spin the time of the wheel back right when we were born or rather just before we were born. We knew nothing about life. In fact we didn't even know what is going to happen to us in a couple of hours.
Nobody knows this and who cares what happens to us, just before we were born. I have done some research, because I wanted to know and also share with you, that a baby-to-be experiences this roller coaster, even though they are not born yet.
Studies show, that these tiny little embryos feel pain during the delivery. The discharged adrenaline from the adrenal gland eases the pain though. During the time of delivery, the embryo's adrenaline level is twice as much as their mother's, who by the way is under stress.
Then in any moment from the safe, warm environment, they feel cold and by the effect of the adrenaline they start to cry. Nobody would think, that in a couple of hours, they go through so many senses and feelings. Pressure, pain, warmth, darkness, cold and light. This is only the beginning.
In the theme park you have a choice to pick your ride and even decide, that you whether take it or stay away from it. In life you don't have a choice, because you are already taking a ride.
Where is the best seat on this wild journey? On the front, in the middle or on the back? It doesn't matter at all. Life offers the same opportunities to all of us. We are all equal and we all experience the same. Sadness, happiness, loneliness, togetherness, pain or joy wherever we take place.
We cannot control our emotions, but that's fine. If you smile give a big one, if you laugh do it from your heart, if you cry do not try to hide it let it out. It will be easier after. There is always somebody, who will listen to you and empathizes with you.
Whatever it may be, as my favorite lyricist Martin L. Gore says "Let yourself go let your feelings show. Let yourself go let your senses overflow".

Challenges and difficult decisions
Is that really all to life being up and down? No, there is way more to it. Whenever we feel neither up nor down that's where we are sort of in stationary. Have you ever felt, that life has stopped and there is nothing to do or you are bored and just staring out of your bedroom window on a miserable cloudy day, watching the trees treading a measure to the wild rhythm of the strong chilly cold wind? It happened to me quite some time especially last year in the full lockdown.
It seemed the World had stopped, because of the absolute vulnerable situation, that we were in. To me personally nothing came to an end. This whole pandemic and the accompanying measures, that caused the lockdown gave me new opportunities and opened new doors in front of me.
I was ready to take a new challenge and take decisions. It was a perfect opportunity to take an online course, that could potentially change my life in the future. I picked what I was interested the most and started to take the course. It was a blockchain developer course which is very challenging to learn. Especially when you don't have prior experience in coding.

The first love
This is something, that we will never ever forget. Our first love and that first sweet kiss. Do you remember that butterfly in your stomach on your first date, the touch of his/her hand and the given kiss? Of course you do. All those wonderful feelings lift us up to the Moon and beyond, when everything becomes so beautiful around us and all the clouds are pink even on a rainy day.
We are in love in that feeling, that I cannot even describe. It lasts reasonably long. Months some are longer, than others. Unfortunately the feeling of being in love will be gone and if all went well we stay in a well established relationship. In some cases as high we were lifted by love as low we will fall and it could end up as a disaster.
Life with a capital L
Some years later, we will experience life with a capital L. This will be a long road ahead of us and we will meet some real difficulties, we will walk on a path, that isn't as smooth as we thought. On the other hand, we will find happiness and finally find the place where we belong to and build ourselves a well balanced lifestyle.
Time to settle down with the one we love and have our own family. Our children will give us lots of pleasure and joy and our married life will take us to a journey for the rest of our lives, that we cannot even imagine. That's when we really have to fasten that seatbelt. This will be a wild ride on a roller coaster.
