I wish you great success in your life. What you wish for somebody else, always comes back to you. That's the best selfishness you can practice. How do you experience different learning activities, getting information from studies, books or from the internet, acquiring technical skills, or mastering a profession? Is it stressful for you? Does it make you give up sometimes, when you feel, that it is too difficult for you to learn new things?

Back in the day, when there were not modern professions or jobs to do, people learned their profession and started working as an apprentice and if they really liked what they were doing and they were good at it, they mastered their skills and even managed to established their own businesses.

I guess those surnames, such as Tailor, Miller, Baker, Cooper, Fletcher and many others come from those old fashioned, but very useful professions. Without them we wouldn't have really managed our broken goods to be fixed or get a new one. Even today in the modern world some of those skills still valuable.

We can learn new professions today, but it is more focused on the modern technology and some parts of the job done by machineries or robots. Murphy's law is: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong". That's where our skills comes in place. Still somebody has to fix them or build a new one as technology changes so fast, new machines and robots needed all the time.

We live in a so called "information age" and in information technology more and more new jobs created in a relative short period of time. Some skills, that you need to be able to carry out jobs with, cannot be learned in school. Thanks for online courses or private companies, who provide courses, in some cases with jobs, it is possible to acquire new skills, that can be turned into a profession or even can be mastered.

I can promise this: When you invest in yourself, a world of opportunities will open up for you. And, if you have a business where you sell your services, you must know that no one will invest in you until you invest in yourself first.

Fortunately these new skills and jobs requires demands and the demand is huge. Many jobs are opening in this field and there are not many people taught or trained to perform the jobs, therefore the supply is low. That is why, these are well paid jobs. On top of that, if you are able to work on your own as a freelancer you can charge less, than a company would charge, but it generates a decent amount of income for you.

If you have the desire in you to develop and seek for more opportunities and find those necessary steps, that can help you to create a better life for yourself and your family, then you will be successful. Just keep chasing your dreams and work hard to achieve what you want in the future. Those people who wake up in the morning, go to work and go home in the evening to watch TV and keep doing that for 30-40 years and when they look back, they realize they didn't achieve anything in their lives.

You can dream big, but dreaming big itself is not enough. Positive mindset and motivation is vital for getting to your goals. Changing your habits and getting out of your comfort zone is also very important. Your new habit should be, that you continuously develop yourself and stick to your little daily routines, that you set up for yourself. Accepting the fact, that you are not perfect and knowing, that you still have plenty to learn will help you a lot in your learning period of time.

“Believing and investing in yourself is the best way to shift your thinking from a paradigm of excuses to one of solutions.” - Farshad Asl

When you are investing in yourself, you are able to build confidence and you will be more valuable as you do more, than you are currently doing at your present employer. You also invest time and effort to build relationships with many people in your field. When you seek for feedback or just simple build your network or relationship online or offline you are still investing. Any time or effort you put into it that's an investment in yourself for future development and success.

What I did for investing in myself was I spent lots and lots of time to learn from successful people, I watched countless amount of motivational videos. I read books about how to be successful and most successful people such as Warren Buffet says the best investment is to invest in yourself.

I also took two online courses a graphic designer course, because I was motivated by digital artists. I was amazed when I saw what arts they are able to create, but on the business side as well, I saw the potential of making logos and different style of designs for companies. The other course I took was a blockchain developer course, as I got into cryptocurrency and during my learning curve I found out, what a blockchain developer does and I got interested.
