If you're into Crypto, there are some certain very important things that you don't want to joke with. Things that are as important as the name "important" itself implies. Of all these very important things anyone that's into Crypto should care about whether you're a novice, an amateur or an enthusiast etc, is your Crypto wallet. As we all know, there are hundreds (if not thousands) of Crypto wallets out there, but few have proven themselves reliable more than the rest.

And out of those few that you can actually rely on, we're going to mention few that stand out among them (Of course we have more than 10 great Crypto wallets).

So below is the countdown to the top 10 crypto wallets of 2020

10) ELECTRUM WALLET

It takes place in the list of the best cryptocurrency wallet due to its experience and reliability. It is designed to use cryptocurrency as a regular payment method as it offers easy and straightforward solutions for conducting a transaction. More secure than online storage and uses a server to download the blockchain instantly.

Unlike most wallets and just like the likes of Bitamp wallet, Electrum is an open source wallet and it's development can be contributed to by just anyone. It offers a secure storage with its two stages of encryption. Electrum also has a user friendly interface and just anybody can get to understand how to go about anything on it in a minute. I'm not sure if theme of an app is what one should consider when choosing a wallet, but electrum sure offer a beautiful one if at all it's to be considered.

9) TREZZOR WALLET

If we consider hardware wallets only, then Trezor is the best Bitcoin wallet. It gives you the power to store your assets in cold storage and use it like a hot wallet. It can be safely used in a computer affected by malware. The size is small and can be carried easily. The screen is protected with extra layers, but the price is affordable.

Maybe their interface have seen a lot of attacks from critics and their inability to store ethereum and ERC-20 tokens in manners more preferred by Crypto users, Trezzor still stand to be one of the best if not the best hardware wallet to store your bitcoin straight and easy. I think why its use is more adopted among the hardware wallets is because of its portability. It is arguably the best hardware wallet. Trezzor is a wallet that can be easily carried around as it has the size of a MP3 USB player.

8) KEEPKEY WALLET

The KeepKey wallet is a hardware wallet and stores your keys in cold storage to keep them safe from computer vulnerabilities. A 12-word security key is generated in every device, while you can also retrieve it if you lost it. BTC, BCH, DASH, DOGE, ETH, LTC, and NMC cryptocurrency is supported, and you can complete the transaction using the software, which is Electrum and MultiBit.

Just like Trezzor, KeepKey is a hardware wallet that provides the strong service that hardware wallets are built to offer. It is currently the best HD wallet as far as security is concerned. It has the ability to resist any physical or virtual attack. Unlike Trezzor, KeepKey is not easily portable. It is not an hardware wallet like trezzor or ledger which can be easily carried around or pocketed as a result of its size. It is a wallet that's built for those that love to build a large portfolio.

7) JAXX LIBERTY WALLET

Jaxx is known as a multi-currency, multi-platform all-in-one cryptocurrency wallet operating since 2014. You can exchange more than 80 cryptocurrencies using the Jaxx wallet. Besides, it renders all the important features like transaction history, coin balance, and insights of a particular coin. Although this is not an open-source app, the source code is available online.

Jaxx Liberty wallet is a very good wallet that serves as a great alternative when you've been looking for a wallet that supports most of the tokens you wish your wallets are supporting but they don't. Apparently it's been around since a very long time and have gained the trust of a lot of users. Though, Exodus wallet now serves a great alternative for the Jaxx wallet as it now offers almost all that you'll need from Jaxx wallet and beyond, it's still a great one as most people have found refuge in it. The news module enhances the app’s value as it continually shares valuable updates and essential information on blockchain and cryptocurrency.

6) BRD WALLET

It is the first bitcoin wallet that renders a customer loyalty and rewards program. You can exchange BTC, BCH, ETH, and all ERC-20 tokens using the wallet. It's a wallet that uses a hardware encryption and ensure great security for the assets of its user. It's a wallet that can be used to purchase or sell bitcoin and other cryptos like bitcoin cash and ethereum. Though no desktop version of the wallet is available yet for use, the android and iOS version of the wallet can do everything you sure need a great wallet to do.

A company called Bitpay created Copay. Bitpay has enabled many businesses to allow bitcoin as the payment, and that is why Copay is the most accepted bitcoin wallet around the world. Again, it gives you the power to exchange between multiple platforms. If you are a newcomer, you can kickstart with this top bitcoin wallet.

Based on experience, the Exodus wallet is a very nice wallet which even carries more coins and tokens most other Crypto wallets don't and can't. It offers a very good security for those Crypto holders whose main fear is to not lose their assets. The only thing abour the Exodus wallet unlike most other wallets is that it is more like an hardware wallet. Exodus is a wallet which you install on a computer and all your assets are in the wallet on the computer. To break it down, you can't access your coin on another computer until you transfer your coins to the exodus wallet installed on the other computer. That's why most people end up installing it on a drive which they can manually carry around and connect it with another computer so as to quickly access it if the case may rise. If you're that type that prefer your assets to be accessible by you in a very fast way on any device you want as quick as possible, then exodus might not actually be your choice because your stuffs are not stored in the cloud. Talking about crypto wallet that's trustworthy and worth to recommend, I won't hesitate to mention Atomic Wallet. This is another best crypto wallet I have seen that's highly secured with interesting features and friendly user interface too. It is one of the best multi crypto wallet and also non custodial and decentralized. More info concerning it, explore - https://atomicwallet.io

Can I ask that coinbase can be withdraw through your paypal account? Is that wallet needs you to be verified before starts trading? I'm just 16 and when I am using my coins.ph account, it's really hard for me to be verified. I need the video of my parent consent so please comment all the answer through my question because I will change my crypto wallet if this is applicable...

Atomic Wallet is also great and should have made the cut. It a non-custodial wallet that gives users access to their private keys. Supports multiple crypto storage & staking, has an inbuilt exchange, and you can even buy crypts with your bank card in the wallet. Find more info on their website https://atomicwallet.io/

This is a great article! Have you heard or Atomic Wallet or Celsius? Those are two other great wallets!

I use both of these. Be aware though Celsius isn’t a wallet it is a financial product (like a savings account). You don’t actually control the funds fully while they are deposited (not in the same way the atomic wallet does).

Nice summary, I’m not sure Coinbase is number 1 though if I am honest. Check out TrustWallet or Metamask both have much better functionality than Coinbase, I reviewed both here:

Lol.. You're right buddy, I use trustwallet and metamask too. But when considering the quality of a wallet, you should always consider security. Trustwallet is great, but full of glitches, incorrect information of your token that can sometime almost give you an heart attack.. (Lol). Metamask is great, but you sure cannot compare the services rendered by this wallets with coinbase

No worries, each to their own. I've yet to come across a glitch in TrustWallet so maybe I am lucky. For me Coinbase just doesn't do enough, there is no way to modify gas settings, no decentralized exchange built in and very very poor interactions with dApps by comparison with Metamask. It works as a wallet but just for me doesn't let me interact with the world outside the wallet half as much as I would like. As for security there is no difference really, both of which have the same security features to be honest. There is one added issue with the Coinbase wallet, if you have sync'd it with your main Coinbase account you have possibly put yourself in a tax risk situation as Coinbase have been compelled to hand over all tax data in certain circumstances. By linking the wallet you have made that and all associated addresses part of the data Coinbase holds on you (just something to bear in mind).
