Subsidy Removal

The Nigerian Government is contemplating removing subsidy is a joke taken too far.

Presently the prices of goods and services are on the high side. The average Nigeria can't eat twice a day . The exchange rate of Dollar -Naira is nothing to write home about.

Then this government in his wisdom out of all policy to implement comes up with subsidy removal.

It's imperative to note before this present government came in to power. When former President Good luck Jonathan was in office removed subsidy there was mass protest among notable figures his the present commander-in-chief.

The Government plan to remove subsidy and plan to give five thousand monthly stipend to Nigerians to ease the hardship that will be imposed as a result of the subsidy removal.

I don't know why I feel this is calculated move by the government to toast and bribe the common man as election is fast approaching.

You all remember trader mini stopped when the election was over.

But come think of it, I hope this people knowing the implication of this removal.

When subsidy is removed the price of petrol might be around 340-380. When this is done, transport fares will be doubled, the market women will increase the prices of goods to accommodate increased fares, school fees will be increased and we are back to square one.

I hope Nigerians have gotten their PVC and younger ones have registered. Trust me if we don't boy right leaders this what will continue to happen.

Recently the government ban crypto-currency activities in the country but they don't know they can't ban what they don't understand.

The crypto industry has the capacity to pay Nigeria debts. With the way Nigeria keeps accumulating debts from China I hope we won't witness colonization again.
