Iyke is professional nurse working an alien in a closed country where it is forbidden to teach the word of God publicly. He cares for newborn babies. He is such a committed nurse with an outstanding character known in the whole hospital. People were always moved to ask him questions bothering them about life and health in general because he is so open-minded and sociable. Each time he finds the opportunity to counsel people with life issues, to built a relationship of preaching the Bible to them.
Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbours. 1 Peter 2:12
For his benevolent character, some caucus in the hospital ganged up against him and accused him of stealing some medicine. His superiors didn't believe them. When eventually the culprit was found, Iyke was made to deliver a speech at the hospital board room where an inquiry for movement and administrations of drugs was held.
As he addresses the board of inquiry, he said:
Our everyday lives not just for our profession, at home, work environment, or in the public should make an impact on others, that is the essence of lives, and not what we have acquired to ourselves. The world should see the nature of the Supreme being in our lives because we were made in His likeness and image.
We are watched by a witness of people we can't see, a host that supervises our activities on earth, even in that darkest region where we thing no one sees us. Whatever we do, let's do it out of the passion to please our positive conscience.
Our character is like smoke. It either scents or smells.
Your character talks. You don't have to talk all the time. Your previous character is enough to be a witness.
