No Victor, No Vanquished.

I have read a lot about war, especially in this time Russia has decided to deal a huge blow on Ukraine. In my little understanding, and from all that I have read, in war, there is no winner. There is absolutely no victor, there is no vanquished.

When Germany appeared as the aggressor against Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, little did we know that even if a big blow was dealt on Japan, Germany too had consequences that affected her too.

The aftermath of the aggression led to an untold war that polarised the world into two blocs, the west and the east. Till date, the world has never remained the same as a result. Possibly, the consequences of the second world war (WW11). Simply put, this war has come up because of the armament ideology of nations.

Everyone, every nation wants to claim their place as the leading nation. So, they keep acquiring weapons of mass destruction to claim their position.

In all our getting, there should always be a place for relationships that most foster growth and support for the existence of humanity. We should not begin to build our defences only because we want to keep our self value and respect.

When Woodrow Wilson withdrew the US as the financier of the League of Nations culminating into the world wars that disrupted the peace of the world as we speak.

Hence, I want to say here that President Putin should consider the call to retreat Russia's military might from destroying Ukraine. Considering the children, the women and at the peak, humanity.

There is no need to create more enmity. Going as far as saying that no one should intervene in this war is just a way to create more enemies which is not needed at such a time.

President Putin has however made it look like Russia does not want to settle this scuffle by taking over the decision without duly consulting the Russian law making bodies.

Like in the case of Nigeria in 1966, Major Generals Gowon and Ojukwu allowed their personal interests to override the national interest causing a three years war that killed over one million children.

In the end, the pride of Ojukwu subsided and he abdicated the seat of power in eastern Nigeria and secretly flew to Cong where lived for several years. But this was after many souls had been lost.

Between Thursday when the brouhaha started, many more people have shown their disagreement with what is happening in Ukraine.

The US is standing by to evacuate President Zelensky of Ukraine if Russia overpowers the capital.

Poland has received over 100,000 and has made the first publicly announced military and weapons assistance to Ukraine. I hope this does not ignite further spread of attack to Poland by Russia. Some patriotic Ukrainians have migrated with their children to Poland and have vowed to come back immediately to defend their home, Ukraine. They probably didn't want to lose their wards to war.

Kyiv's metro had announced also through the head of operations that it's stations will function solely as shelters for volunteers who wish to defend the nation against further plunder.

Zelensky had earlier announced that Ukrainian forces are repelling Russia's assault on Kyiv, the capital city. One could see the loyalty that the people of Ukraine are defending their territory with, irrespective of their supposed small population in military strength, economy and otherwise.

To further create enmity, Russia has cracked down on independent media outlets that called the war an invasion. In the wake of this supposed war, many media outlets first reported through the waves available to them that it was only an invasion that may not linger for too long, but for Putin and the Russian military, it is a serious business.

From western Europe, French officials reportedly diverted vessels believed to be associated kind of with Russia. This was done ultimately to sanction the move of Russia against Ukraine.

This war may be against Ukraine today, we should not forget that there are other nations close by that could be affected both in economy and peaceful coexistence, the United Nations through the Security Council have to come in before it gets worse than it is.

It's really sad what's happening in Ukraine and it's hard to even know what exactly to say but I must sai I respect the loyalty from the Ukrainian president in refusing to be flown out of the country yet while his county suffers, I even saw a picture of him in their army wears. It's a great and confident move from a good leader

That's who you can refer to as a leader. One who wants to stay and be held responsible for his actions and make his shoulder to carry his followers.
