A very rich man had a daughter, his only child. He cared so much for her being his only child. When she became old enough to get married, suitors could not come because they thought that she was in a class of her own.

This gave her sleepless nights. She began to grow weary and her father noticed it. He does not like her getting worried.

The wealthy man could do anything for his beautiful daughter. That evening, as he walked through his garden, he met his daughter in a worrisome state and demanded to know what on earth made her look depressed:

Father, as beautiful as I am, no man has ever asked me out. No one ever told me how beautiful I am, let alone asked to be his wife.

This sounded strange to the wealthy man. He had enough money to demand men to come to seek his daughter's hand in marriage. He was not going to do that because love must come from the heart.

So, the wealthy man, seeking a way out for his daughter, called all the able-bodied men from the town to come seek the hand of his daughter's marriage.

Joyfully, the men trooped into the wealthy man's compound. Everyone wanted to get married to a wealthy man's daughter. They all knew the advantages that await anyone who gets lucky to be mentioned as the beautiful lady's husband.

On the set day, everything has been arranged and the wealthy man announced to the young men as he took them towards the pool in his compound and said:

Anyone who is able to swim through this pool and meet me at the other end will be made a husband to my beautiful daughter and would be handsomely rewarded.

As he finished addressing the young men, he walked to the other end of the pool, waiting for who was going to cross and meet him first.

All the young men out of excitement began to remove their clothes hastily to jump into the pool and begin to swim. Before anyone was done removing their shirts, a helicopter flew across the pool and dropped crocs into the pool. All the young men, having seen that, retreated. No one dares jump into the pool because of those deadly crocs.

The flash of water called everyone's attention to look into the pool and find a young man who was swimming as fast as possible and meandered around the crocs and did find his way to the end of the fool. The rich ma was we elated.

The young man who swam across was scratching heavily, panting like someone who just escaped from the jaws of a lion.  He spoke at the crowd of young men:

Who pushed me?

All the year he had was gone. He wanted to find out who pushed him rich man took him away and gave him all that he had promised.

In life, one who is skeptical about an idea would just suddenly be pushed, else he won't get what he desired, except he is pushed.

Those people who have succeeded in pushing you I to a pool full of crocs are you helping you to reach your dreams.

¿Quién me empujó?

¿Quién me empujó?

Many times someone has to give us a push to achieve what we dream, I loved the story.

This is how life works. Most people avoid the push and never mind forward.
