Dreams do come true
Have you ever planned whom you want to be when you grow up? Have you become that someone you planned yourself to be?
Have you ever dreamt of becoming a doctor but ending up becoming a nurse? Have you ever struggled finding your way to your dream?
Hey, what is your dream?
When I was a child I dream of not becoming a lawyer. It was actually my fathers dream, and my dream was to become an actress. But my father told me that showbiz is messy. However, I did not surrender from that. I thought for another 3 more professions (model, military, and teacher) but everytime that I pitch it to my father, he will always have a response that will lead me jumping to another dream. Until, one day, I just felt it, that I want to be a lawyer someday.
Fast forward, life happens. My mother died when I was nine and my father got sick before I graduate from highschool. We no longer have enough money to finance my studies in college much more going to a law school. But luckily, I had relatives who helped me and supported me finished my baccalaureate studies.
After I graduated from college, I worked as a Customer Service Representative. At that time I thought to myself that, okay that's it. This is my life now and I will just make the most of it. However, when I turned twenty-five years old I suddenly felt that something is missing. But don't get me wrong, I love my job, the work was good and the compensation was great. Until my brother offered me a full scholarship to law school and the rest will be on my next blog.
