The extradition requests of Alexander Vinnik, known as "Mr Bitcoin", in the USA and France was rejected by the Greek justice, as announced by Russia's human rights commissioner Tatiana Mosscalkova.

"According to the latest information, a Greek court overturned the decision to extradite Vinick to the US and France," he said, characteristically speaking at Sputnik.

The Russian citizen was arrested in Greece in July 2017, at the request of the United States, on the charge of money laundering via Bitcoin.

From the very first moment, he has refused the charges, and he has also carried out a hunger strike, denouncing a violation of his rights.

He has even asked to be extradited to Moscow in order to stand trial in Russia for his transgressions.

For its part, it's lawyer, Zoe Konstantopoulou has denounced the fact that Vinnik remains in custody for a longer period than the Greek law allows (S.S. 18 months).

He has spoken about US intervention and "strange attitudes and omissions" on the part of the authorities.

According to Wikipedia, during 2013 and 2014, BTC-e had many outages related to distributed denial of service attacks. They later began using the reverse proxy service CloudFlare and VPN companies to help mitigate these attacks, reducing downtime for the exchange.
