How Hard It Is At The Start(Be it investing or starting your own thing)
It hasn't been long since I first started accumulating my portfolio.
No one is born a professional, an expert, or the wealthy.
Everybody has to have a start in which they have gone through countless trials and situations in life.
To each his/her own life, nobody lives a better life than the others. Even those who are born with a silver spoon aren't any better. Even though they don't live their lives in poverty, they also have their own struggles that others don't know about and look at them as though they live a perfect life.
I'll point out a few examples of struggles each group of people has to face and how hard they struggle throughout their lives.
People who are born in lower-class families
Families that do not have enough resources to support their children through their childhood and education. Their children often have to work odd jobs as a kid, and part-time jobs in their teenage years to support themselves through their high schools and college. Some even have to get a loan to finish college and get a degree. Then getting a job after graduating, working their ass off to save up and invest for their retirement. Hopefully, they will wise decisions and have their investments grow to another height.
People who are born in middle-class families
Families that have the capabilities to support their children through education and live a comfortable life. Though not enough to spend frivolously on luxuries, they are able to afford a few of them.
The downside of being born in a middle-class family is that your parents, your grandparents, and your relatives all set up a high standard of expectation from you. They expect you to do better than them and prove them right. Whether you will crumble from the pressure applied to you from all sides will then depend on how you cope with it.
People who are born with a silver spoon(high-class families)
If you think that these people's lives are perfect, without anything to worry about, then you're totally wrong! They are the ones who face pressure the most even though they didn't have to fight for their dear life. The descendants of those rich families are often looked down and despised upon for being ignorant and not knowing how to do anything. While they don't lack resources in life, they lack acknowledgment from all kinds of people around them.
No matter how hard they worked, people only see them as kids who live off their family's money. Some of them take their whole life just to prove themselves as not being any worse than their previous generation.
No one is born perfect, each and every one of them has their own problems and obstacles that they have to overcome by themselves.
Everyone has a start unique to themselves. Like how famous artists struggle at the start just to have their work get acknowledged by others, how songwriters wrote mountains of songs just to have one get recognized by society before being famous, and thus getting an unrealistic income coming their way.
If it's really that easy to live life, you would've seen more people relaxing on their couch each day than working more shifts, studying more hours, and practicing harder.
Just to remind you that, success isn't easy, but it isn't impossible. Consistency, perseverance, and a wise mind are the key aspects to solving all kinds of problems in life.
I'll be here cheering for you guys as I'm working hard to prove my worth too.
I have my own struggles too, I can't afford to invest consistently as my job doesn't pay me much. But every time I got a chance to invest, it'll be my top priority. It isn't much, but I'm sure it'll stack up and become a huge sum of wealth for me to retire myself one day. Maybe I'll be able to retire earlier than expected, who knows?
All of this above is just my personal opinion and not some financial advice. Hopefully, you guys will be able to benefit from this little opinion of mine.
