I held my pen, with grief in my heart,

Oh Lord of Heaven, where thou hath?

In the society nowadays, everything is going wrong,

Think it's high time the trumpet sounded and the bells got rung!

The killings, bad governance, sexual harassment,

Everybody has got to do their self assessment.

The good code of conduct is being breached daily,

Maybe not each day, but every week especially.

We pray for God's intervention,

So the country can be brought back to restoration.

This is a bitter truth. Almost everyday we can see news about violent incidents. These different events involve a disparate cast of characters, who seem to be arbitrarily defined as mad individuals, criminals or terrorists. Such as, innocent people getting killed, girls being molested, robbery etc.. I hope violence be stop. Thanks for sharing! Good day!
