My wildlife photography: the black redstart, Phoenicurus ochruros. It's amazing how common has this bird become in the urban area where I live: I think I see them more frequently than sparrows nowadays! These photos were taken in a beach thow, in southwestern Portugal. Impossible to mistake with any other species, especially the males: dark black plummage, with a red tail. They have a small white spot on the wings, but they're not visible in this photo.
