Daily wildlife photography: the european serin, Serinus serinus. This was one of the first birds I learned to recognize by the song! They sing loud and are frequently perched well in sight while they do it, as it was the case here. And the have beautiful colours as well, look how bright their chest is! If you live in Portugal, once you learn to associate the song with the bird, you'll see they are all over the country, even in urban areas. Photos taken in Tavira, Portugal.
