Edwin suddenly halted her movement, after making sure she lured the person that trailed her right from the Market. The wind blew hard, her long jet black hair danced with the movement of the wind. She stood right at the entrance of a dense forest, owl sounds echoed through. Dressed in a black knicker and a pink top, she blended well with the homosapiens.
"Did my father send you also?" She asked, with her back facing the other.
"Yes your highness." The latter replied, his head bowed a bit. Dressed in a overall black coat, his cloth blended with the darkness of the night. He looked imposing and dangerous with just his dressing and his six feet muscular build. His face was paper white, as if blood didn't flow through it. But he was a beauty to behold, his jawline well drawn, and a slight pointed nose placed accurately at the symmetrical line dividing his face into two. His lips were white, and he was beardless, giving him an adult teenager look. Though he was several hundred years older than that.
"Didn't father get the message, after not seeing three of his guards return back." Edwin scowled. "I'm not returning!"
"His majesty have given me the permission to use force!" Travis replied sternly. "But I won't want to resort to that. It will be advisable if you just come along with me on your own accord!"
Edwin slowly let out a laughter, letting the nylon holding the groceries drop to the ground, as she made a turn simultaneously. Her eyes glowed red as she faced Travis face on.
Travis eye color also took a shade of red, indicating he also was ready for a fight, revealing a pair of fangs dropping from his upper mouth.
In a blink of an eye, both figures had changed position, as they clashed at each other with unfathomable speed and sheer brute strength.
Edwin threw a punch towards Travis's jaw. The latter moved swiftly, dodging the lackluster punch. He grabbed the arm easily and pulled it towards him, and then bent it at the elbow and a crack sound accompanied it. Edwin felt an immense amount of pain, but in a jiffy the pain was gone as the wound healed. She used her other arm to grab Travis by his collar, and she swung him towards the bark of a tree. The bark of the tree broke into pieces as Travis's body collided with it. But that attack didn't stop there, Edwin kicked him in the stomach, launching his body up and then she slammed her fists into his lower abdomen sending him rolling over to the ground. Blood dripped from Travis's mouth, as he was quick to recover and stood up. He cleaned his mouth and smiled.
"It's time I go rough on you princess!"
Travis moved at a speed beyond the comprehension of Edwin, confusing her for a bit, but that confusion didn't last long as her head swung to the other side from the punch Travis threw at her. Her body moved not on her own accord as she crashed through several trees. If she was any regular human being, her head will have been removed from such punch, but fortunately she wasn't. She was one of the strongest creatures of the night currently alive, THE VAMPIRES.
It took a significant amount of time for her to recover from that, but Travis wasn't slowing down. He grabbed her by the neck and raised her above the ground, like she was just some worthless rag doll. Edwin wrapped her hands around the strong arm of Travis, trying to escape his tight grip, but the effort was futile. Travis arm didn't budge.
"Drop me down!" She yelled, choking on her breath.
"I just wanted to show you I'm different from those guards that you killed earlier with ease. Don't mess with a 200 year old vampire next time." Travis replied with a devilish smile.
Travis and Edwin nose caught a familiar scent around them, that of a fellow vampire. He glanced around, his ears alert and eyes sharper than that of an eagle.
"Didn't you hear the pretty girl" a Figure came into view from the shadows, or more from in-between the trees. "Put her down!"
Travis slowly put Edwin down, with his eyes glued on the new vampire.
"Abel!" Edwin whispered, her heart racing. From unknown joy.
"Who are you?" Travis asked, growling. His eyes glowing a darker red.
"Are you challenging me?" Abel asked jokingly, his eyes maintaining the normal black and white color.
Travis felt insulted, and rushed towards Abel with speed. By the time he got to Abel's position, Abel was no longer there. It all happened in a blur, as the next thing that happened was Travis's beating heart got stuffed in his own mouth.
"A couple of hundred years old vampire is challenging me." Abel laughed out exposing his fine set of white teeth. "Am I a joke to you!"
Travis fell to his knees, and then to the ground his face on the ground. His heart still stuffed in his own mouth, blood flowed out from all corners unto the ground. His face looked colder than before, his eyes opened wide staring into the darkness, DEAD.
"What if I didn't come in time! Is that how he would have dragged you home?" Abel asked, standing and staring down at Edwin.
"I didn't need your help!"
"Oh sure you didn't. Yet you were struggling with that weak pathetic guy." Abel grimaced.
"You don't expect me to be on the same power level like you, a thousand year old vampire!" Edwin almost yelled.
"Fine. Seems like I will have to address this matter from the very top. Your dad is going to get it from me now!" Abel said with a serious expression, different from that of his playful one.
"No!" she spoke almost immediately, afraid of her causing a fight between her father and her mate. "We just have to change location. Far away from here. We start all over, me and you."
"Where do you have in mind?" He asked.
"Greenville"...

Sitting down on a thick branch of a tree, with a black Mask on his face concealing his identity, Travis stared at the sky, his gaze fixed on the bright full moon hanging between the clouds. He sighed, cocking his rifle, with the clip filled with silver bullets. Strapped to his back was a bow, and a quiver containing arrows with the tip made of silver. He swung his legs effortlessly, waiting for something or probably someone. Soon enough several howls echoed through out the dark forest, then heavy running footsteps could be heard, accompanied with rustling of leaves and several breaking of the trees nearby.
"Finally!" He mumbled, his facial expression unknown thanks to the mask. He squinted his eyes, glancing around and soon saw several big animals that looked like a wolf running around, all having green eyes. Suddenly the pack stopped their purposeless running, and looked up at him, their nose catching his scent. They growled, and start running towards his direction. They were 4 in total.
"I hate dogs!" Travis shouted jumping from the branch of the tree, shooting at the first one, at the head. "Luckily they are newly turned wolves, the Omega. They lack intelligence, especially during a full moon. This should be easy."
The first wolf drop dead to the ground, blood pouring from the open wound. If it was any other bullet, it would have had no effect on the wolf, but this was a silver bullet. One of their weakness. And who else would know the weakness of a predator, other than the Hunter.
The remaining three didn't stop their quick running towards Travis, despite one of them dieing. One pounced on Travis, knocking away his gun. They both wrestled to the ground, Travis gaining a quick upper hand, giving a punch at the wolf's lowerjaw. He pushed it off his body, with a strong kick to it's chest. He did a quick Chinese getup, standing in their middle. The two wolves who were yet to attack him, slowly walked round him, growling and snarling, drooling. The one that got into a wrestle with Travis, stood up also and growled viciously at Travis. Who stood unfazed with being surrounded by three big werewolves. He brought out a silver dagger, taking a fighting stance. His senses Making sure to be keen, waiting for their next move. In an instant, the wolf that earlier wrestled with Travis, rushed at him again. The wolf aimed for his head with his big mouth, showcasing his long canines, hoping to chop his head off. Travis, however was no amateur Hunter. He rolled below the wolf, grabbing it by the tail simultaneously and stabbed it with the silver dagger. The wolf growled in pain, and panted. The other wolves seeing their colleague in danger rushed at him, both tackling him to the ground. They clawed at his chest severally times, injuring him near the heart region. Travis yelled in pain, using the best of his effort to stab the one on his left at the fore limb. Then did the same with the one at the right. He kicked one off him, and quickly impaled the dagger into the skull of the wolf on him. Two down, two to go.
Travis, critically injured and losing a lot of blood, knew he couldn't win the fight against the remaining two wolves. He slowly stood up, with just his dagger in his hand. As both his arrows and quiver were not with him anymore.
"Come on!" Travis shouted, feigning strength and confidence. If he will die doing his family job, he won't do that whilst begging this wild creatures.
The one on the right leapt at him, only to get tackled to the ground by an unknown and unseen force. Then suddenly the head of the wolf exploded into bloody pieces. The last wolf remaining, knelt down to the ground, growling in pain.
"You did well." Lucy, walked out from in-between trees, her left hand stretched out at the last wolf. Obviously being the one causing immense pain to it, and also Killin the previous one In a cruel manner. She folded her palms and the heart of the wolf suddenly stopped beating. The wolf's body went limp, as it stopped breathing, it's eyes wide opened. Like it died from a heart attack. Well, literally it did.
"Taking down two big bad wolves with no powers or supernatural strength, I'm quite impressed." Lucy commended giving a huge grin at Travis.
"I'm weak. I couldn't even handle four amateur pathetic Omega wolves." Travis replied resting his back against a tree. "Thanks for coming."
"Not all witches are evil." Lucy chuckled walking towards him. "You need to get this injury fixed. Or else how are u going to move around in school?"
"I will be fine. Just take me out of here!" Travis replied, removing the mask of his face. His face was sweaty, as strands of his black hair stuck to his forehead.
Lucy snapped her fingers and both of them disappeared....
