The Tokyo-based retail and e-commerce company, Rakuten, has announced a few days ago the acceptance and adoption of cryptocurrencies as a payment method for its 116 million customers. Rakuten is the largest e-commerce company in Japan.
Bitcoin Cash is officially one of the three cryptocurrencies accepted now by Rakuten for payments. The other two are Bitcoin and Ethereum. The service started running since the 24th of February.
Rakuten clients are able to load their Rakuten wallets with the three cryptocurrencies (BCH, BTC and ETH) and make payments without fees using the Rakuten Cash environment.
This is one of the best phases of adoption for cryptocurrencies and the selection of Bitcoin Cash by Rakuten means a lot because it comes right after the selection of Bitcoin Cash by Paypal. The retail titans and the giant payment processors have done their research and understand that Bitcoin Cash is in a goo place and should not be overlooked when selecting payment methods. It could easily become the most used out of the top cryptocurrencies, having features and abilities the rest just don't possess.
The interest in Bitcoin Cash is on the rise lately and it is gaining acceptance and recognition as a top-tier cryptocurrency, one that could be considered a candidate for wide adopted digital cash.
The announcement of the acceptance of Bitcoin Cash is in the link bellow (Japanese language):

We can clearly see that lately there is a shift of the institutional funds into more cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin and Ethereum. For the time being Bitcoin Cash is third, however, there will still be required a lot of hard work to be done, as only lately some people started shifting their opinion into the real reasons Bitcoin was created and what it has actually become.
Bitcoin Cash is the next-generation Bitcoin, the one that has all the fonds and features to succeed and attain the first place of popularity and acceptance in such a fiercely competitive environment.
Despite their ad on FC Barcelona shirts and recent announcement, I tried to jump onboard and found both of the two needed apps aren't available in the App Stores in Spain yet. Really looking forward to living with BCH 100% with solutions like Rakuten's, but this one seems it hasn't arrived yet - at least to Spain
