The read.cash Top-Tippers List Update!

Lots of rearrangements in the read.cash "Top Tippers" list, as Bitcoin Cash tips keep flowing no matter the bear market or the price volatility. Bitcoin Cash seems to have escaped the $100 support, so this at least was good news recently. As the price of BCH keeps rising, be sure this will also reflect in better tips. But first, we need to remind every time that **Marc De Mesel,** with his vast contribution in read.cash, and noise.cash supported authors and Bitcoin Cash. Read.cash became a new hub for authors looking for an online platform that could help them earn extra money in their free time.

The Updated List

I went up one place and now stand at 12th place. **Ruffa** has also been fantastic, as she climbed up one spot and is now featured on 14th place! **Olasquare** is also up by one spot (18th)! **PVMihalache** is also doing great at 17th place, and within the next few months expected to reach higher! The top-tippers list is getting better to describe the active part of read.cash this way and hopefully more members will join the ranks.

**Jane** is a true champion, having tipped more than $1400, worthy of the **10th place in the list!** Although, the tippers at higher places are probably difficult to reach. **Marc De Mesel** is a true hero and has always been featured on top of the list, currently with more than $160,000 in BCH tipped.

Undeniably, Marc deserves praise for his support of read.cash writers for years. Moreover, Marc has also contributed **Millions of dollars** **in Bitcoin Cash tips**, supporting users of read.cash and noise.cash with the automated tip-bots like the Random Rewarder and the tips at noise.cash. The rest top contributors are **top Bitcoin Cash community** **members** and **investors**. **Roger Ver**, **molecular**, **majamalu**, **Erdogantalk**, **btcfork**, **emergent_reasons**, and **Telesfor** are top read.cash supporters and tippers. **Ellie**, the second tipper on the list, is sadly not active for many months in both read.cash and noise.cash. I hope Ellie is doing fine and come back whenever possible. I don't know who **ancient.stone** is, though. I studied this user's posts and it seems he handed out a $2000 tip once, contributed with content, but has also stopped publishing for more than one year. Initially, I thought this was Andrew Stone (a Bitcoin Cash developer for Bitcoin Unlimited), but this is not the case since the articles and comments of ancient.stone are irrelevant to Bitcoin Cash. Finally, we have ~~Scotty17,~~ who was sending all his earnings to only one other account in read.cash. This was not an organic approach that lead Scotty to this list but was also removed from the tips process after this manipulation was found by Simon. Moreover, Scotty left read.cash as soon as tips stopped flowing to his account, so, tips indeed were the sole reason this guy was writing content at read.cash. I don't judge the fact he was here for the tips. Tips are the main reason for many writers, **BUT**, **at least respect the rest writers**, **the platform**, **Marc** that pays all the tips, and b**e fair with the system**. ~~Scotty17~~, in my opinion, doesn't belong in the top tippers list. Handing out all the tips just to one author is a wrong approach, and frankly, it wasn't intelligent or honest either.

In Conclusion

Well, not everyone, as some don't tip anyone else. Tipping is not mandatory, although if nobody tipped noone, what would be the point then? So we have the type of users that manipulated the tip-lists and got removed from the rewards, and we got users that will never tip anyone. Some authors are just greedy with allocating time, rewards, and money. When someone extracted (more or less) ten thousand USD in BCH from the platform (and sold for fiat instantly), it is difficult to realize how exactly they contributed to read.cash when they only take but give nothing back. Sadly there are a few exceptions, and it is difficult to assume they help as ambassadors of Bitcoin Cash in a meaningful way with this egocentric perception. However, there are also a few examples of individuals that serve Bitcoin Cash with a higher purpose. I felt I had to contribute and this is probably about 15% of the tips I received. Other authors give way more than me in percentage terms, and I noticed plenty that exceed this number. Congratulations to everyone that keeps tipping and contributing part of the rewards earned. This approach with the circulation of tips also helps Bitcoin Cash, adding more daily transactions and value transferred.
