I remember having an account on Steemit since 2017. I tried creating some quality articles on that platform and after a few months, it was obvious this was going nowhere. I had some followers but probably they were bots. I had created ten posts and had only just a couple of comments in a few of them. No tips at all and I don't think anyone even cared to read my posts.
I see that read.cash has this boosting option for our posts. I don't mind that, it helps to recycle the tips given and increase awareness for some posts that authors want to spread the message. But, I was expecting at least some people to actually read my post.
A day after my introduction post and an article I posted that was accepted in the Cryptocurrency community, I find the visibility and reaction to my post to be very poor.
Just three people actually cared to read my post and only one person voted.
I will keep trying but the results seem to be very poor for a beginner and if this is happening to all, then it is discouraging people. I am not here to make money in any case. I have made money from my trades. This is in no way the reason I joined read.cash.
I just wanted interaction, a dialogue, constructive criticism, ideas, and thoughts to be given to my articles. I am giving some comments to posts I find but this is discouraging if there is nobody giving comments and votes up or even downvotes. I don't mind either.
I don't know how this works for most but it would be difficult for me at least to keep posting for noone to read.
I was on steemit too and I left for the same reason as you. I met only 2 nice people there. I am a new member here too and already had some communication with other writers and even 4 subscribers upvotes on comments and on articles. I do like Read.Cash. People do read articles, but not everybody will respond and upvote. You can see under your article how many people saw your work and you can compare how many people commented and upvoted. I think this platform is far tge best of all I have came across, but that is only my opinion.
