In less than 30 minutes at the time of writing, a game-changing protocol upgraded will be discussed live on Youtube by members of the Bitcoin Cash community. It will be a discussion on the proposal to bring native miner validated tokens to Bitcoin Cash.

The proposal updates the Bitcoin Cash consensus to natively support alternative currencies without impeding on the utility of native currency (BCH) by upgrading the peer-to-peer cash system of Bitcoin in such way that every other currency transaction output creation marginally increases demand for the native curreny (BCH) thus remaining faithful to design precepts from the Bitcoin whitepaper.

The stream begins on Monday, April 5th 15:00UTC (less than an hour away).

From previous conversations it seems there won't be a need for a hard fork to implement this proposal, however, I am expecting to find out more as an upgrade that moves towards adoption of the Bitcoin Cash network should be discussed in-depth and is decided by consensus. The consensus recently is about each member of the community taking a step back and agreeing towards moves that will increase the adoption of Bitcoin Cash.

It has been already a great year for Bitcoin Cash and most cryptocurrencies, and lately, there is are increasing numbers of Bitcoin Cash users. Transactions outperform those of BT and Bitcoin Cash is slowly being recognized as the top-performing blockchain in terms of P2P electronic cash transactions and microtransactions. Bitcoin Cash is setting an example this year, developers are focusing on creating some great applications running on top of BCH and the Bitcoin Cash devs are looking for ways to increase adoption and usage of the network.

This is a consensus rule change that, in its present form, requires a hard fork.

Yes. This discussion is for a later date, perhaps November as it was mentioned, this will require a hard fork.
