Repetitive Nerve Simulation Test Result
Hello everyone! I don't want to start my article on a negative note. Many things have happened in our family these past few days, and I will write an article about them in the coming days. For today, I will share with everyone my experience regarding the diagnostic test that I took 2 days ago at Qualimed hospital in Iloilo City. I have already written an article about our travels on that day, and today will be solely about the RNS test.
I waited almost an hour before I was attended to by the doctor. There were so many patients that arrived earlier than me. I think there were six more patients before me. Most of them are middle-aged.
I was not bored while waiting because there was free wifi and a movie was playing on the big monitor in the room. I was writing my article while waiting. I did not even notice that it was almost my turn.
When my turn came, the nurse asked me for the extra blanket and told me to remove my jewelry. And then he led me into the room where Dr. Tamalera was waiting for me. I was so nervous. Only patients can enter the said room, so the husband was left outside. I really thought that he could be with me the whole time so that he could take photos, but sadly, no. So I have no photos to share with you. But I will try to describe it the best way possible that you could understand.
So, after a little introduction and a few questions asked by Dr. Talamera, we proceed to the process. I was told to lie down in the bed, and then the male nurse wiped something on my face, specifically on the lower part of my eyes (both left and right), as well as on my jaw (both left and right). Then he make dikit a white piece of paper attached to a wire into the lower part of my eyes.(Yung parang sa ECG ba GANURN. HAHAHA!) It's difficult to write in English!
And then the doctor told me that the whole process hurts. A little painful, but bearable. So he apologized beforehand. The nurse placed a metal object in my face, specifically in my jaw, and the procedure began. And it was painful, like wtf! **Teh, kinukuryente ako! 35 times on both the left and right jaw**. The doctor kept on apologizing while doing the process. And I was tearing up because it was indeed painful.
And after that, I told the doctor, "Doc, akala ko ba di masyado masakit?" And he said, "Sorry mommy, yung iba talaga eh umiiyak buti ikaw hindi."
After that, they repeated the whole process in my arms, both left and right, and the male nurse was holding my arms while doing it. It was really painful and I was praying, "Na matapos na."
I was told to wait outside for the result when the whole process was done. Then my husband went down to the first floor for our payment.
After 20 minutes or so, the result was out, and the doctor explained everything to me. According to him, I had lost 24% of the chemicals in my body, and that is too high already. Most of the patients that he examined were 5% to 10%. So I had to make sure to take my medication, which is Mestinon, because it supplies the chemicals that are lacking in my body.

I am glad that I am done with the RNS. My doctor required this last March, and I am so late in doing this. After sending her the result via messenger, I was scheduled for a check-up this coming Tuesday, June 21, 2022. And most likely, my doctor will require me to do the CT scan.
There is still a long way ahead, but I hope I can overcome everything.

Hey guys, sorry for being inactive again. Unexpected thing happened. My stepfather suffered from a stroke this morning and was brought immediately to the hospital. My mother was ver nervous and so I kept on callingbher to calm her since I am far from her.
But I will yry to read as much as I could. So far I have read 5 articles already and I will continie reading later...
Hey guys! Apologies for not being able to read your articles. I am so occupied today, got busy with my rns appointment. I was so tired with the long hours of travel.
But I will surely give a lot of time for reading tomorrow. For now, I will have to rest early.
Goodnight everyone and thank you! ❤
Qualimed Hospital: RNS Appointment
Time check: 8:54 A.M.
I am now at Qualimed Hospital in Manduriao Iloilo for my Repetetive Nerve Simulation or RNS, which my doctor required me to do. This is one of the diagnostic test that I need to undergo. After this is the Chest CT scan.
Last night, I am not feeling well and I told myself if I will have a fever in the morning, we will pospone this appointment. But when my husband woke me at 4:30 in the morning, I am feeling fine already so we decided to go. I just prepare the things needed like blanket, water and some biscuits and put then inside my tote bag. After taking a bath we just had coffee and off we go.
We arrived at the terminal around 5:15. I tjought we are going to take a bus but husband told me that we will take a passenger van instead because bus have to take several stop overs and it would cause a delay on our travel.
The van hot the road after 20 minutes and we had a smooth travel. I was sleep the whole travel, lol! I was so sleepy because I woke up 2:30 in the morning and had trouble going back to sleep. We arrived at Tagbak terminal at 8:00 in the morning and since we only had coffee, we had breakfast first before going to Qualimed Hospital.
And that was the aftermath, lol! I was so hungry that it only take 15 minutes to consume everything, lol!
After we had breakfast, we asked the guard if where we can find a jeepney that has a Manduriao route. Unfortunately, there was none on that terminal so husband told me that we will take a cab instead. Since we are not familiar with the place, I think taking a cab or taxi is not a bad idea. And we got lucky with the taxi that we got because the driver is kind enough not to overpriced the fare. We only paid 150 pesos from Tagbak to Manduriao.
We arrived at Qualimed Hospital within 30 minutes. There was no heavy traffic on our way so we had a smooth ride.
The hospital guard assisted me when we arrived at the hospital. He guided me to where to fill out forms, which is required in every hospital. After filling out forms, I was then told to go to the reception area and was asked several questions. And then we were told to proceed to Neuroscience on third floor.
I was amazed when I enter the premises. The hospital is clean and smells clean. Unlike other hospitals that I went into. We were so early and the Neuroscience department was still close so we wait at the lounge.
Since they had a free wifi inside, it is so okay for me to wait. I was actually writing this while waiting.
**After 20 minutes.....**
My husband told me that the Neuroscience office is already open so we immediately went there and after filling out forms again, I gave them my vaccination card and request form for RNS, I was told to wait for my name to be called.
`I panicked a little yesterday because when I was looking for the request form, it was lost ot maybe I misplaced it and could not find it anymore. So I send a message to Dr. Jordan's secretary if I can have another copy of request form again because I lost the first copy that they gave me. She said yes and she send it to my messenger. And that was the copy that I showed to the cute nurse.`
It is already 9:50 in the morning and I am still waiting for my turn. I am a bit nervous. I will update you tomorrow about the test. I will wrap this up for now. I forgot to bring my powerbank and my cellphone's battery is 19%.

Our Property, Our Rules...
I want to greet you a happy Tuesday pero my Tuesday went from good to bad, so damay damay na lang, charoot!
It is my late father's birthday today kaya nagsimba ako kanina and nag-alay ng dasal para sa katahimikan ng Papa ko. My daughter is with me and kumain kami sa nirekomenda nya sa akin na eatery na madalas nilang kainan ng mga barkada nya. The place is ok but the food is not.
So pagkauwe namin eh pahinga na ganurn.
So let's go down sa history ng bahay namin. Ako eh di talaga nakikialam kapag nagkakasagutan sila. Ayoko makialam sa away nila.
So sinabi namin yun sa father in law ko and kinausap nya ang kapatid nya.
So going back doon sa kanal na ipapagawa nya.

Turning 2 in 2022: My Read.cash Journey
Jane's article made me look back at how I started my journey on this platform. I think that was 2 years ago. If my memory serves me right, I signed up around May or the month of June. I remember how hesitant I was because I knew for certain that I was not a writer. I can write, yes, but I struggle. My number one problem is that I am not good at English. I have poor grammar. But what made me push through was the urge to earn money.
I was just being observant at first. Observing how read.cash works Or how would I be able to earn money? I read articles that caught my interest and left comments. At that point, we can earn points even by just leaving a comment.
However, I am not as lucky as other writers. Maybe because my piece cannot be considered good quality. My account was listed as spam and so were the succeeding accounts that I created. But in spite of that, I continued my journey and earned the trust of other writers. I have made a circle of friends that helped me build my name on this platform.
Most of my articles are all about life experiences. I was hoping that by sharing it all here, people could learn something from it. And the majority of them are written in such a lighthearted manner that my readers will not be bored while reading them. I remember a certain user that left a comment on my article. I forgot her name though. She/he said that she/he loves reading my articles because it is fun and, according to her/him, it was like I was talking to her directly. I felt proud of myself because it only means that I am growing as a writer. I've gone from a "writer kuno" to a writer who can reach out to my readers and convey what I really want to convey. Oh, I wish I could find her comment, but it would take a while before I could find it in my articles.
In read.cash, you're not just a writer, you are also a reader/commentator. That's how I was able to build my name. I love reading articles that would help me grow as a writer. I love reading articles that could help me shooosh away my stress. One of the articles that I had fun reading was Ruffa's. She has such a wild, broad, limitless imagination that when you read it, you will even question yourself, "is that even possible? Lol!
Being on this platform is a blessing to me. I guess it is, to every user in some way. My husband lost his job after the pandemic struck, and from then on, read.cash has helped us get by. I was able to provide food on our table. And not only that, when I got sick, this community was the first one to help me financially and emotionally. I was/am overwhelmed with the unending support that I got from people who never knew me personally.
I still remember the day when I created a post on noise.cash about my illness, and in just a short span of time, I was flooded with help from different users. I was crying when I first saw it. I never thought that people would help me because we all have our own problems, but they never hesitated to lend a helping hand. And since then, I've been able to sustain my medication. Until now, read.cash has been a great help to me and my family.
`These are just one of my withdrawals in read.cash.`
Who would have thought that a noob writer like me could earn more than $100 within a month just by writing an article? From 0.50 dollars to $100. I could not believe that I am capable of doing that. Bitcoin cash and read.cash made it possible. And because of that, I can proudly say that I am not JUST a stay-at-home mom who is just waiting for her husband's paycheck. I am a stay-at-home mom earning dollars! And I am proud of myself!
My article's link https://read.cash/@Pachuchay/340-in-the-month-of-march-31f3f6bf
And with that being said, both will always have a big part in my heart and there is no way that I will ever forget it for the rest of my life.

Technically Single
I am sipping hot coffee at this moment in spite of the scorching heat that we have right now. I tried to awaken my senses because I felt so sleepy, but every time I tried to take a nap, my mind was wide awake and it only made my head ache. I hope this coffee will help.
Anyway, I will be writing about a prompt again, which I first read in Usagi's article. It is about a 30-day challenge wherein a question is given to you and you have to answer it or talk about it. I actually have several 30 day challenges saved, written by different users, but I will try to do this first. So here we go.
Source https://ctocfriendspirations.wordpress.com/2014/02/28/30-day-challenge-with-friends/
Day 1: Your current relationship, if single, discuss how single life is.
I am single, technically. My husband and I have been together for 22 years, but we are not married yet. So every time I fill out a form, I get so frustrated when I have to choose between single and married in civil status. But lately, when I apply for philhealth, I am glad that there is an option "**common law husband/wife**" in the form that I fill out. That's where I belong, lol!
Many people ask why we are not married yet, or if we even have a plan to get married. Of course, we have planned our marriage before, multiple times. But every time we plan it, unforeseen things keep on happening. The last time we planned on getting married was before the pandemic happened. The venue would be on the farm where my mother lives, and it was the perfect timing because my sister Katy was on vacation at that time, so we would be complete. She will be my matron of honor. My daughter will be one of the bridesmaids. It will just be a simple celebration with the whole family. We have a big family, so I am sure it will be fun yet solemn. But COVID-19 happened, so it was postponed for the nth time.
So my husband and I were like, "Okay, if the heavens want us to be married, it will happen in time." We decided not to be pressured on getting married.
Married or not, the important thing is that we overcome everything that stands in our way.
Being in a relationship for 22 years is not easy. I cried a bucketful of tears multiple times. We had argued a lot. What do you expect from two different people, with different views, living under the same roof? There was even a time that I threw a glass at him out of anger. And I would be lying if I said that we have not thrown unpleasant words at each other out of anger. It is not because we have lost respect for each other. How should I put this? Hmmm, I guess it is because we believe that despite showing our bad side to each other, our love will prevail. We accept each other's flaws.
The secret to a long-lasting relationship? I don't think there is/was because we all know that communication is key. It is very important to talk it out every time a problem occurs.
And another thing, make certain that the **intimacy** is always there.
--
And it's a wrap! I hope that you have learned something from this article. I will try to answer the remaining 29 questions in the coming days.
Until next reading!

Never Have Pachuchay Ever Gone Wild, Char!
I have been getting a lot of rest these days. If you have noticed, I decided not to publish an article every day. I just don't want to squeeze out every cell that my brain could produce just to think of a topic to write about. And it helps because I can feel it in my bones, Char!
But since I am still in hibernation mode, let me try a writing prompt for today's article. I read about @Yendoing daring things on her first date and found out that it is a writing prompt hosted by the master of writing prompts himself, @meitanteikudo. And so, without further ado, let's begin.
Clubbed Until Morning
I have done this twice with my husband's friend Anthony. Anthony became a good friend of mine even before me and my husband got into a relationship. Anthony is a married man, and every time he and his wife fought, he would go to my apartment and drink. And if he was not contented or drunk yet, he and I would go to the nearest club and drink until he got wasted or until 3 in the morning. We almost got into a fight because when Anthony got drunk, he was very annoying, like he would go to another table and sit there. And then I would let him sleep in my apartment until he was sober. It only stopped when my husband told his friend to stop coming to my apartment and spend the night there. I actually miss going to the club afterward. My husband doesn't like going to those kinds of places.
Shoplifted
For the record, it was not intentional; it just happened.
It happened last year when I went out to buy some groceries. Every time I went out for some grocery shopping, I always brought an eco-bag with me. So I went into this particular shop and the eco bag was on my shoulder. I forgot to get a basket, so I was thinking of using the eco-bag instead. I grabbed some marshmallows and put them inside the eco-bag and went to get more supplies. And when I got everything in my hand, yes I did not put the rest inside the eco-bag, only the marshmallow, I went to the cashier and paid for everything. But I totally forgot about the marshmallow that was inside the eco-bag, lol! I only remembered it when I got home and saw the marshmallow inside. I told my daughter about it and she was like, "Eww Mama, shoplifter!" hahaha!
As I have mentioned, it was not intentional. I just totally forgot about it. It took a while before I went into that shop again because I was afraid that I might get arrested because of that marshmallow. lol!
Went On Two Dates in a Day
I have not done this, but I did something similar to it, like being in a relationship with two guys at the same time. Ganda ka gurl? Char! Well, it happened when I was young, and being young made you do things out of the ordinary, hehe.
Kissed someone on the first date
I did, not once but many times, lol! Well just like kudo said, it's just a kiss anyway. But I can not go further than that.
Met up with someone on a dating apps
Dating apps didn't exist in my time, lol! But I have met up with people that I met over the phone. I think I have done it twice. My first meeting did not go well, but my second went well. Unfortunately, the guy liked my friend instead of me. But it's okay, he was not my type anyway.
--
And that's it, I hope I was not too late for this writing prompt. If you are up for it, just give me a tap. https://read.cash/@meitanteikudo/never-have-igone-wild-a1247996

My 6.6 Shoppee Budol Buy
Shopping! Shopping! Shopping!
Undeniably, shopping is one of the many stress reliever of women. Who doesn't love shopping anyway? The only problem is the M-O-N-E-Y.
Anyway, speaking of shopping, nakapagcheck out na ba lahat? As guilty as I am, yes, nagpabudol ako this 6.6 Shoppee Sale. I blame it all to SPayLater, lol!
The other day, I tried to activate Spaylater in my Shoppee account using my Philhealth ID and it only took 5 minutes and it was approved. By the way SPayLater is like a credit account which Shoppee pay allows you to shop and pay later but of course with interest. You have 3 installment plans to choose, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months installment plan. My approved credit is 7,500 pesos. After seeing it, I get so excited to shop, lol! I asked permission to my husband if I can use it and he said yes.
And so without further adieu, let me show you what Shoppee made me do this time, lol!
Cookware Set
You know that adulting hits you when you want to have this in your kitchen, lol! This has been in my cart for more than a year. I have been meaning to buy this before but my wallet won't allow me.
Just look how elegant it looks like and upon cheking the reviews, they were all positive though there are some negative reviews but most of them were about damage upon delivery. And right after I purchased it, I contacted the seller and told them to secure my parcel to avoid damage and they were very responsive with my concern. I can't wait for this to be delivered!
Denim Shorts for Husband
My husband is not into jeans. He seldom wear jeans so most of his clothes are denim shorts. I bought these as his reward for being so thoughtful and very supportive husband.
Clothes, Clothes, Clothes
I think I deserved this, char! Well, as I did some decluttering the other day, I noticed that I do not have decent clothes anymore. Its either they are worn out or alreadu have hole in it. So I decided to buy these, but of course, not just for me. I bought terno for me and my daughter and muscle tee for husband.
I seldom buy clothes so I think the next will be next year, lol!
For my Daughter
She saw this on Tiktok and told me if I could buy this for her. According to the reviews, this is good in removing dark spots, cellulites and etc in the skin.
She and her friends are planning to go to Boracay this coming August and she wants to have a flawless skin to show off once she wears her swimsuit. Sana all pupunta ng Boracay, lol!
The sum of everything is 3,951 pesos and I choose 6 months installment for it. I need to pay 800 pesos every 5th of the month.
Right now, I still have more than 3,000 pesos in my credit but I have no plan of using it until I paid my first transaction of SPayLater. And that will be on December. Perfect for the 12.12 Sale, lol!

And this is my 6.6 Shoppee Budol finds. How about you guys, nagpabudol din ba kayo?

Chitchat Over Dinner
As I was writing this, I was smiling from ear to ear. I just remember my daughter and I's conversation over dinner. Her father was not with us when we had our dinner because he was still at their office having a meeting with his boss regarding the upcoming projects that would be given to him.
Okay, moving on with the said conversation, we were savoring the food that was in front of us, which was roasted chicken that I bought outside the subdivision. Like I was saying, we were having a feast when my daughter suddenly said,
"*Ma, Sabrina and her girlfriend broke up."*
*"Why, I thought they were going to last because Sab really loved her girlfriend, right?" I can see it on her Facebook post. Why? What happened?*
*"Sabrina told us that she doesn't feel it anymore." It's like there's no more spark whenever she's with her girlfriend. "*
*"That's sad, but somehow good also because she can now focus on her studies."*
*Yeah, that's what she also told us, that they both had no time for each other."*
*No anak, she just doesn't love her anymore because if she did, no matter how busy they were, she would not break up with her. The love isn't there anymore. That's why.*
*"How about Lyka and Alyssa?"*
*"Baw Mama, matibay pa sa matibay yun. Lagi lang yun nag-aaway pero hindi yun maghihiwalay."(Those two will never break up, even though they often fight.)*
Then she suddenly said,
This part will be tagalog, pardon me for those english readers but I will try to put english version, hehe.
*"Ako kaya Ma, when kaya makafeel na I am tired na, that I don't love him na. That there is no spark between us na. "*
Then she looked at me and we both laugh!
*"Why anak, do you not like someone nowadays? "*
*"I have someone that I like Ma, si ano yung kinuwento ko sayo. "*
*"Eh what's the problem, he does not like you?"*
*"No, it's not like that. Feeling ko nga like nya ako eh. "*
*"Eh anong problema? "*
*"I could not imagine myself being with him. Parang di ko feel. Nakicringe ako." She said that with action lol!*
And then we both laugh again! Lol!
Then I told her na she can have a boyfriend naman na. And I also told her na doon nya malaman na marunong rumespeto ang guy at sincere sa kanya. Ayoko nun magkakaligawan lang thru chat and then sila na. Where's the sincerity on that? Although meron naman talaga na sincere but still, iba pa din yung nililigawan or inaakyat ng ligaw sa bahay.
Then I told her,
*"I know Ma, lagi mo yan sinasabi sa akin kaya di ko nakakalimutan."*
*"And isa pa anak, what if mabuntis ka ng di ka man lang nakatapos, gusto mo ba matulad sa kababata mo?"*
*"Of course not Mama, gusto ko maenjoy ang life muna noh."*
Then she laugh, lol! Kaloka, tinawanan lang ako!
"*It will not happen Mama, like I always told you, ako yung magiging yayamanin na Tita/pinsan na tutulong sa mga pamangkin/pinsan ko."*
*"Good."*
And we ended the conversation with a good laugh. ..
That's what I like about my daughter.
And so we both had a full stomach and a happy heart. That conversation made our meal so tasty.

Aswang or Kapabayaan?
Hey guys, what's up?! I feel so energized today because, why not, Char! Actually, the reason behind the energetic me was, that my husband, is back to work again! Just last week, their work was halted because of some issue regarding DPWH, and I got worried because it might take a long time before their work resumes. But last Wednesday, he was told to report on one of his projects located in Jamindan. He was so happy when he told me about it, and I let out a big sigh, but in a good way, after hearing it. It means I don't have to worry about our expenses, especially now that I earn so little on both platforms. Have you noticed it too?
Okay, so let's move on with what this article really is about. I was supposed to write it yesterday, but the cold weather got me lying the whole day, so I decided to write it today instead.
Yesterday morning, while my husband and I were having our breakfast, we saw the service vehicle of one of the radio stations here in our city pass by. So we both had a big question mark on our eyes like, what happened? Is there another drug buy-bust operation in our subdivision that we do not know about? The Marites in me kicked in, lol! But since I was busy, I forgot about it and continued my morning chores.
After a couple of hours, done with my usual routine, I opened my Facebook account and this is what I saw in my feed.

According to the news, a 1 year and 4 months old baby died. She was found in a small canal near in their house and was suspected that she was drowned. The incident happened last May 25 at 10 in the morning. The aunt of the baby was the one taking care of her when it happened.
But you know what's funny, they were saying na "INASWANG" daw ang baby kaya namatay. They consulted a quack doctor about it and according to the albularyo, napaglaruan daw ng masamang espiritu or inaswang ang bata kaya namatay. Like what the f! Common sense lang ba, common sense! My gosh, super triggered talaga ako dito kahapon.
So seriously, we are now in the era na puro na halos computer na nagpapatakbo ng lahat and then sasabihin pa nila na dahil daw sa aswang kaya namatay ang bata. Kabobohan! It's their kapabayaan! Kaawa-awang bata, di ko maimagine yun hirap nya habang nalulunod sya at she might be desperately asking for help pero di nya nagawa coz she's just a baby. My heart ached for her.
I know, mahirap sa magulang ang nangyari lalo na sa ina ng bata and I think na naghahanap lang sila ng mapagbuntunan ng sisi sa nangyari but I think mas makakatulong sa pagmomove on nila yung accept nila na dahil sa kapabayaan nila kaya nangyari ang lahat ng yun.
And I've been here in Capiz for 20 years, dumami na lang ang uban ko pero wala pa akong nakitang aswang, jusko, kaya gigil din ako doon sa albularyo na kakilala ko din eh, hay naku!
--
And that's it, nilabas ko lang dito ang frustration ko na kahapon ko pa gusto sabihin, lol! Kayo ba guys, naniniwala din sa aswang?

Fruitful Month of May
It's the first day of the month of June. And just like that, we're already half way through the year 2022. How time flies, eh?
I know most of you have set goals for this month, but here I am, looking back at what the month of May has brought us.I have read articles from various users who are very grateful because they have been so productive last month, both on read.cash and on noise.cash. And I want to congratulate all of them on a job well done!
So now, let's go to how May went for me. I was not able to achieve my 1 article a day goal here on read.cash. I had only published 19 articles out of 31. There were times that I ran out of topics. That's why 19 articles happened, lol! And I was also hospitalized last month, so giving myself a break on both platforms was needed.
But those 19 articles have brought me **$224.43** in my wallet. I was surprised because I thought I would earn less, but to my surprise, nothing has changed. I still earned the same when I published 30 articles.
And it was all because of everyone's never ending support and I am so grateful every time. And of course to Rusty who never fails to find its way to my articles.
When it comes to noise, I know everyone has been on a roller coaster ride when our payouts were pending for days and so many speculations were written about it. But all those worries were washed away when finally, after 5 days of pending pay outs, it was reflected in our wallets. Yey!
And it completed my **$111.14** earnings in noise.cash for the whole month of May. I believe this was my highest earnings since January 2022.
These were all sent to my Coins.Ph account and were converted.
So for the whole month of May, I have earned $335.57 / 16,778.5 pesos. And I am so thankful for it because it has helped me a lot when I was admitted in the hospital. Thank you all very much!
I may have been tested and went through a lot last month but I am also showered with prayers and support with everyone who knew me. No words can express how grateful I am and I oftentimes asked myself what did I do to deserve all the love that I received.
That is why I am eternally grateful to everyone!
Photo taken this morning. Just had the sudden urge to share it with you.

An Unexpected Turn of Event
Hello guys! I started my Monday ng super aga, like 4 am. Napanaginipan ko kasi yun late mother in law ko. Pinuntahan daw namin sya sa dati nyang bahay and super saya and very welcoming daw sya pagkakita sa amin.
He said yes naman. And he went kani-kanina lang while I am asleep.
So binigay ko yun form ko then nun pagcheck nya, sabi nya ay Philhealth member na daw ako since 2018, SPONSORED BY OUR BRGY. Pero di na nirenew noong 2019 until now. So ako eh nashocked ng slight kasi I was not informed, kaloka! Sureness na sureness daw kasi same name and address. Then sabi nya siguro malakas kapit mo sa brgy or may kakilala ka na nagwork sa brgy kaya ka naisponsor. So ngayon, need ko bayaran yun contribution from 2019 up to now and it is almost 9 kiaw!
Sabi ko sa babae if ever ba maospital ako eh maavail ko yan oo daw basta fully paid un almost 9 kiaw. So ayun sabi ko na lang na unti untiin ko ang pagbayad na lang since wala ako ganyan kalaking pera. Bale kanina, 1k un binayad ko and by the way, 400 na pala ang monthly contribution ng Philhealth ngayon.
So ayun na nga, nakakaloka, kung sana nainform ako ng brgy, eh di sana naipagpatuloy ko yun pagbayad and nagamit ko na sana. Well, anyway, wala na ako magagawa kasi it happened na.
And that's it, regardless of what I have discovered, I am happy kasi naging successful yung lakad ko kanina. Kailangan ko na lang bayaran ng paunti-unti ang balance ko to avail its benefits.

Sunday Thoughts
Good day, Chingus! How was your day? Today is Sunday in some parts of the world, and you know what Sunday means. It means family day! Well, most of us spend it with the family, but some spend it with their friends and lovers.
I am outside, in front of our house while writing this. My husband told me to go out and breathe some fresh air and not just sit inside our house. I felt good after and while I am writing this, ny husband was swiping the dried leaves.
Anyway, I wasn't feeling good yesterday because of the bad news that my husband told me. It is about their work. He said that his boss stopped the whole operation of their work because the DPWH, or Department of Public Works and Highways, had not paid their obligation. According to his boss, it's been three months since the said agency last paid them. But my husband told me it was just temporary. Maybe within a month, I hope it won't take that long before their work resumes.
I was just happy that before it happened, I was already out of the hospital. Just imagine if I was still in the hospital and their work suddenly stopped. It would be such a pain in the head. So now I have to work hard again to sustain my medication.
Okay, just a little update with regards to my condition. I am getting better now. Although there were times that I could barely eat, especially at night. But other than that, I feel good. So what I am doing is that every time I feel hungry, I eat. I eat 5 or 6 times a day, but only a small amount of food each time. So that if the time comes that I am having trouble eating again, I will not feel weak. So I just eat and eat while I still can. I keep biscuits and jelly on my bedside table because I occasionally wake up hungry in the middle of the night. So my husband told me to always have food in the room.
And tomorrow, I will be applying for Philhealth. I told my husband to drop me off at the Philhealth office and I would text him once I was done so that he could fetch me. I have completed my requirements and, hopefully, things will go smoothly. I am actually excited about it because I think I can use the Philhealth ID in Binance KYC, or am I wrong? Well, regardless, I am still excited because I know that it can help me a lot. I'm also going to keep paying my husband's PhilHealth payment once they go back to work.
Oh, I realized just now that it is only the 29th. I thought it was the 30th already. Me and my mom's brain again, lol! Looking back at everything that has happened to me, I feel so unlucky this month ofMay. Getting sick and being hospitalized is the worst. It is not only me that suffers, but also the whole family, financially and emotionally.
I will have to deal with this illness for the rest of my life, so the best thing that I should do is to be healthy.
And if I will be given a chance, I am planning to go to Manila to seek medical attention. There are better doctors and hospitals there, so hopefully, I can do it.
And so that's it for today guys. Thank you for bearing with me until the end. I am always grateful to each and everyone of you who keeps on supporting my articles.
Until the next reading!

A Quick Update of Yesterday's Ganap
Good day guys! Four more days and month of May will come to an end. How time flies ey? Anyways enough with my English kemerut, tagalog muna tayo today. My brain still hibernates at this moment due to the cold weather. Yes, unexpectedly, we have a very cold weather in our end. It has been raining like crazy with thunder and lightning last night. Unexpectedly because grabe ang init kahapon. So I did not expect na magiging maulan kagabi.
For today's blog, it will be all about my follow up check up kahapon with my doctor and everything that happened in between.
My appointment yesterday was 10:30 in the morning so I still have time to do the usual morning chores. Thanks to my daughter who helped me with everything. But now, she helps like all the time. Nagagalit pa nga kapag naglilinis ako and she always reminds me about taking my medicine on time.
Okay, moving on.. We arrived at the hospital 10:30, very on time sa schedule ko. But we have to wait 30 minutes kasi may nauna ng pasyente. It's okay lang naman since malamig naman sa loob ng hospital. And when my turn came, my doctor welcomed me with a huge smile on her face.
After ng kumustahan about my well being, she asked me if inuubo ba ako or sinisipon kasi nga dahil doon sa nakita nila na Tuberculosis sa xray result ko. I was also bothered by it, pero sabi ko eh wala naman ako naramdaman na kung anuman not even slight colds. So she said na since wala ako naramdaman, di na muna yun itreat kasi di pa confirmed if TB nga ba talaga. BUT, kapag daw inubo ako ng matindi, I should inform her agad para di na ulit mangyari na atakehin ako. She said na dapat ko ingatan ang katawan ko kasi mahirap kaag nacompromise ang immune system ko dahil baka maospital na naman ako.
And then she reminded me na I have to do 2 diagnostic tests pa which is the RNS and CHEST CT SCAN. Actually, nakapag set na ako ng appointment for RNS pero I cancelled it and it is moved on JUNE 16. So I have a long way to go pa and more expenses to come, hehe..
After the check up, nagreklamo na ang anak ko na gutom na daw sya but I told her na mag-grocery na muna kami kasi need ko pa inumin yun meds ko. She said yes naman and so we head to the Gaisano which is katabi lang ng hospital. We enjoyed shopping, lol! Sino ba naman hindi di ba? Mga basic needs lang naman and some snacks and treats for my dogs.
The cashier even asked me kung magpaadiscount daw ba ako jusko! 😂
Then after namin mamili, we headed sa Chowking to have our lunch. We ordered chowfan and wanton soup. I need soup every meal kasi para di ako hirap kumain.
I am so full after! We stayed 30 minutes more before we headed home. And then yun katabi namin na table na senior ang kumakain, s3nior na sya because halata naman sa kanya, I mean sa appearance nya. She asked the waitress if pwede daw ba makahingi ng katulad ng meron si "Manang" sabay turo sa akin. Like wtf, hahaha! Oh my gosh, I feel so offended like totally offended.
--
And that's it guys! Yan ang ganap sa life ko kahapon. Dapat talaga eh kahapon ko pa to sinulat kaso nagbeauty rest muna ako ng bongga. As always, thanks for reading!

Fire Is A Good Servant But A Bad Master
We are now experiencing very hot weather. According to Google, we are under 32 degrees Celsius. Wow, it feels like we are under toast. Anyway, since we are now talking about the hot weather, I remember @JonicaBradley Writing Prompt # 29: Fire. As you can see, it is all about fire. I've had my fair share of firefighting experience, so seeing a large fire makes me nervous.
I don't hate fire. Fire means life, right? But from what I had experienced, it made me terrified of it.
Let's start when I was only 11 years old. I love to cook, so every time my cousins wanted something for snacks, I always volunteered to cook for them. Most of the time, I cooked champorado. Then one time, we ran out of gas, and my Lola told me to use the kerosene stove. I don't know if you are familiar with it, but you can see the photo below as reference.
So I was busy cooking when I did not notice that the hose got stuck in the pot, and so it melted and the kerosene went out and the fire started to immerse. I was so terrified that I shouted, "Fire, fire, fire!" My Lola almost had a heart attack because of that, and the whole kitchen was almost caught on fire. It's a good thing that our neighbors were fast enough to put out the fire. After that incident, I never dared get close to our kitchen again. It took months before I moved on from that incident, and I never used a kerosene stove again.
The next incident happened when I was cleaning in our backyard at our old house. It was afternoon, and I was busy cleaning our backyard. Our house was surrounded by tall grass and dry leaves because it was summer when it happened. I gathered some dried leaves on one side and put them on fire, but because it was windy, the fire also caught the dried leaves from the vacant lot and created a big fire. It only took a couple of minutes before the whole lot was on fire. I was so terrified that I could not move an inch. Then I heard one of my neighbors shouting at me to run because I might get caught on fire too. My neighbors were already clamoring to put out the fire. There was ongoing construction in the neighboring lot, and the workers also helped to put out the fire.
When the fire was under control, one of my neighbors, Ate Beth, told me in a funny way, *"At least di na mahirapan maglinis yung may-ari ng lote kasi linis na linis na, HAHAHA!*
We all laughed after that, but my heart was pounding so hard and I was really trembling. I was happy that no one got hurt and no property was damaged, or else I would be in deep shit.

Run For Your Lives!
Anhyeong Chingus!
It has been almost a week since I got out of the hospital. And I could say that I am feeling better, although not "better," but much better than the past few days. Oh my gosh, how many "better" are they? lol! I hope you get what I mean. **wink**
Anyway, I don't have a certain topic for today's article. I will be talking about random things that happened to me today, so please bear with me. Let us start with my weird dream.
I woke up this morning with a big question mark in my head, lol! The truth is, I had an odd dream. The main stars in that dream were me and my childhood friend. She is younger than me, so she calls me "Te Ne." We were just hanging out after not seeing each other for years. Then suddenly, there was a commotion outside. People were running for their lives, shouting at us to run or hide. We were so shocked that we did not know what to do. Then, from out of nowhere, a bunch of shirtless hunks came right at us and took us to a safe place. They have these weapons that I have only seen in movies, and they were telling us to stay with them if we wanted to live. And my friend, who is known for her "kalandian", agreed and was glued to the guys, lol!
So we're in an apocalyptic situation. And my friend and I were the last two females on the planet. And it is from us that the new era will begin, HAHAHAHA!
Oh my gosh, I just couldn't stop laughing when I told my husband about it. "Such an unlucky new era," he said. HAHAHAHA!
The moment that I opened my eyes, I told myself that I should write this on read.cash. What an unlucky era indeed, lol! I'm glad that it was only a dream.
Okay, enough with that dream, and let's get to the next topic.
I was supposed to go to Iloilo this coming Thursday for an RNS appointment that was set a few weeks ago. Due to an unforeseen situation, my being hospitalized, I am still too weak to go on a long trip. So I called the Qualimed Hospital today and asked if I could move my RNS appointment to the closest date that is available on their list. The guy on the other end told me that the closest available date was June 16, so I immediately took it. He then reminded me about the things that I should do before going there, but since I already knew it, we just ended the call and I said thank you for the consideration.
--
And that's it, guys! Thank you for reading until the very last word. I hope you had fun reading it!

Lucky To Have Him
Hey ladies and gents,How are you all doing? Well, I missed a lot lately because I was not active in reading and interacting for the past few days. In fact, I did not write an article yesterday. As much as I would love to because I badly need every penny that I could earn here, my body won't cooperate. My hands get tired easily from typing. Actually, not just my hands, but my entire body. I could not even take a bath standing, so I had to bring a chair inside the bathroom, and even when changing clothes, I needed my daughter or husband to assist me. That's how weak I am right now. But staying in bed won't make me better either. That's why I tried to do some chores slowly and I cooked. I did the cooking today, and I feel good about it.
I wanted to get back on my feet again, just like I used to be. My husband did all the cleaning before going to work every day. And he was tired already, even before he would go to his work, and I felt pity towards him and a little embarrassed about myself.
And even when he's at work, he would always call and text to check on me if I was feeling okay, if I had eaten, and she kept reminding our daughter to always attend to my needs. I feel happy and sad at the same time. I should be the one taking care of them and not the other way around.
Just this morning, while we were having our breakfast, I told him I loved him. It's my way of saying thank you. Then he smiled and said, *"I know what you mean. Don't worry, I love you and I will do everything for you. Sorry if I get annoyed sometimes, but that doesn't mean that I get tired of taking care of you. That will never happen. Just take good care of yourself and don't be stubborn."*
*"Kinilig ang pempem ko mga teh, char!"*
*I fell in love with him again. lol!*
I am lucky to have a partner like him. Yes, he is not perfect. He has so many flaws. He even betrayed me before, but that is all in the past now, and I appreciate everything he has done for me.
Okay, enough with these and let's move on to my next topic, which is the first thing that I would do once I regain my strength. And that is to apply for a Philhealth. I regret not pursuing it before. If I had only known that I would be this ill, then I would have applied years ago. Well, it's not too late to apply yet, so I am going to push it.
I did some research on the internet about the requirements for applying for one, and this is what I discovered.
Screenshot taken from this site https://www.moneymax.ph/government-services/articles/philhealth-id-application
To those who have appkied before, are these the only thing I need or they might ask for more when I get there. I just want to be prepared to avoid the going back and forth in their office? And how much will I pay for applying?
I was planning on doing this tomorrow, but my daughter has to do something urgent at school, so maybe on Tuesday.
--
And that's it for today guys! It took me three hours to finish this very short article. I have to paused for a few times to relax my hands. And glad that I managed to finished it.
Thanks for reading! ❤

Taympers!
I am home! Finally after 5 days of confinement in the hospital, I am finally home. Well, actually, I was home last Wednesday pa but because I am still weak and need to take a rest, hindi na muna ako nagsulat dito sa read.cash.
Iba talaga ang feeling pag nasa bahay na, as they say, "there is no place like home." When I was in the hospital the only thing that was running in my mind was, "magkano na kaya ang bill ko? Saan kami kukuha ng pambayad dito? Pwede naman na maiwan na lang ako dito and maging tagahugas ng plates na lang hahaha! But seriously, I was stressed of the thought sa bayarin.
But God never leave me. He sent me people who serves as his instrument para sabihin sa akin na, "Don't worry, I got your back."
Daphne, who is now working in Paris, immediately sent me a thousand peso the moment she found out that I was admitted in the hospital. Nagchat sya sa anak ko and telling her sa mga dapat na bilhin na food for me. Then my friend Madel, who is working in Italy naman was asking me to apply for a Philhealth and babayaran nya yung whole year contribution para magamit ko agad. But unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. I mean the Philhealth. Hindi mo agad maavail ang benefits nya kapag binayaran mo yun whole year contribution. You will wait for three more months pa daw. And so, what she did was sent me five thousand pesos nun nadischarged na ako para pandagdag sa pambayad sa bill ko. I got emotional, I did not expect it kasi they only knew me online but they are always ready to help. And of course my dear friends in noise.cash and read.cash who helped me in their own way. Thank you all guys!
Moving on, when I went to the hospital, ang sadya ko lang talaga eh magpacheck up kasi un ang advised ng doctor ko. But when they told me na need ako admit, I was surprised kasi ganun pala kaseryoso ang sakit ko. I was even told na tutubuhan ako from my mouth up to my stomach para doon ipadaan ang food ko since nahirapan ako kumain or lumunok.
I was so scared, like wtf! I was in tears pagdating ng asawa ko kaya nagulat sya bakit ako umiiyak. So after telling him everything kinausap nya yun resident doctor. So ayun after signing a waiver, di natuloy ang tubuhan..
And then sinabi nila ulit na need ko daw sa ICU ilagay, kasi need daw close monitoring. Tumanggi ulit kami kasi ICU means money and wala kami noon, so we signed a waiver again but my docotr insists na hindi ako pwede sa ward because I can easily get infected so pumayag kami na sa private room ako.
And after those 5 days of being admitted, sa wakas eh nakalabas na din kami. I am still weak pa din and madaling mapagod and hingalin so talagang ingat ingat pa din sa pagkilos. I wish to go back to my old self.
So if di kalabisan na hingin ulit sa inyo guys, please pray for my fast recovery. They said na mas malakas at effective daw kapag pinagdasal ka ng ibang tao...

Where Have All My Friends Gone?
*"No man is an island."*
*We all know what this quote means, that no one can live without any friends or without having a friend or someone beside them. We all need someone who we can depend on, who we can talk to, cry with, have fun with, etc.*
*In my younger days, I had so many friends, especially when I am still in school. Everyone loves me because, according to them, I am fun to be with. I am everywhere. I have a lot of girlfriends and also have male friends, which exposed me to different experiences in life.*
*But as I aged, I noticed that from many friends that I have, it became fewer, and now it feels like I have no friends at all.*
*Sorry, but I got emotional a while ago. I was alone in my room because my daughter went out to buy my medicine. And then, I heard from the next room that they had a visitor. A friend visited the patient, and they were having fun; lots of talking and well-wishers. Hey, don't get me wrong, I am not eavesdropping. I can hear them unintentionally. It was like that every day.*
*And I felt jealous, lol! Oh silly me, but yeah, I got jealous. I was like, "Where have all my friends gone?" Or do I still have friends left?*
*Oh, I guess it was me who was left to blame. I don't socialize like I used to before. I'd prefer to stay at home. I don't know why I changed. For me, it is much better to have virtual friends than to go out and socialize. I have trust issues with people around me in the place where we are residing. I don't know who the real ones are from the fake ones. I was put in a messed up situation before because I trusted someone. And since then, I've kept my distance and learned my lesson.*
*And if I were to talk about my childhood friends, we grew apart from each other, maybe because we all have our own lives now, and we're living in different places and minding our own business. We sometimes talk over messenger, but you know, the closeness is not there anymore. I feel like there is a huge invisible wall between us.*

*And so I got lonely and felt envious of my neighbor's patient. I guess I just want someone to visit me and ask how I am. I'm sorry for this article. I just want to vent. I can not say this to my husband and daughter. They might misinterpret me, and I don't want that to happen.*

Under Predicament
I've been in the hospital for three days and am constantly wondering about how high our bill will be. We have had 22,000 pesos on our account after only two days, so imagine what it'll be in a week.
My doctor told me yesterday that I'd have to stay for a week to finish my antibiotic. The antibiotic is administered by injection rather than orally (dextrose). I'll ask her at her next visit if I can continue my prescription at home, if that's possible, only to save money, but I doubt she'll let me because most of my medications are administered via IV.
In my current situation, I've understood how vital health aid, such as Philhealth, might be, especially if I end myself in the hospital.
I was so keen to apply for one previously, but after seeing on the news that you will process it in the office rather than the hospital if you are hospitalized, I grew hesitant, and now I regret not doing so. Although my husband owns one, I am unable to use it because we are not married. And there's this one friend of mine, Madel, who has offered to pay my Philhealth one-year payment so that I can start using it right now. But, even if she paid the one-year payment, I can't utilize it right now. I believe I will have to wait three more months to benefit from it.
So, if I ever get out of this predicament, I'm going to apply for Philhealth since, according to my doctor, I'm going to be in the hospital a lot for the rest of my life. I became a burden to my family.
My hubby and I had an argument just this afternoon. However, I completely understand him. He is extremely stressed by our current predicament. We had no one to turn to for assistance. Even his family has refused to assist us. We have just each other. I simply cried and felt terrible because I am to blame for our current state. He then walked out to get my medicines, and when he returned, he hugged and kissed me and apologized. I sobbed again; why am I such a crybaby? I returned his hug. Then we're all set.
To be honest, I often felt hopeless. It would be preferable to end my life so that I am no longer a burden to them. That's what came to mind following my prior disagreement with him. But I realized that my husband's efforts would be in vain, and he is trying everything he can to help me improve, so why would I blatantly take my life?
Everything will be alright. In God's help...

Day 1 in the Hospital
It was May 13 when me and my husband went to the ER of Saint Anthony Hospital as my doctor advised me to do. She was out of town when I sent a message to her secretary about my condition. I told her that I could not eat properly nor speak properly. She told me to go to the ER for immediate evaluation and prompt treatment. I was hesitant to go at first because most likely I would be admitted, but I was also afraid that my condition would worsen, so I had no other choice but to go.
We went to the hospital in the morning of May 13. And after the evaluation, the resident doctor called my doctor and then told me that Dr. Jordan wanted me to be admitted because I needed immediate treatment and close monitoring. Dr. Agrasada, the resident doctor who assisted me, said that I might have an infection in my body and that it is what triggered my illness. And if left untreated, my lungs might collapse.
My husband and I talked for a while, but because my condition is more important, we both agreed for me to be admitted. After that, my husband was told to go to the billing section and I was brought immediately to a bed in the ER and was told to prepare for an xray. The nurse gave me a hospital gown and told me to change, and I was brought to the xray in a wheelchair.
After the X-ray, I was brought back to the ER, where my husband was waiting for me. He said that the hospital needs a downpayment of 5,000 pesos. We only had 4 thousand pesos on hand, so I told him to withdraw everything that I had in my bitcoin.com wallet.
Right after he left, one nurse and another and another went into me. One nurse inserted an IV, the other one drew blood from me, one in the pulse and damn, it was so painful. The other two drew blood from my arms. Then later on, three more nurses came to me and told me that they would put a tube in my mouth. They call it NGT or something like that. I broke down. I cried. I was so nervous. So I told them that I would wait for my husband before they do that to me.
When my husband arrived, I told him everything and he talked to the doctor about it. He did not agree with it, and so the doctor told him to sign a waiver stating that he did not agree.
Then, a moment after, Dr. Agrasada informed us that Dr. Jirdan wanted me to be under close monitoring because my condition might progress. She said that my lungs might collapse, so she wanted to put me in the ICU. We both disagreed because we knew that ICU meant more money and we didn't have that. So she let us sign a waiver again and told us that I needed to be in a private room and not in the ward because I might get infected with the patients there. And when my husband saw the condition in the ward, he also did not want me to be put there, and so we waited for a private room to be vacant.
It was past eleven in the evening when they told me that there was a vacant private room, so I was brought there immediately.
While we were resting, me and my husband were talking about the situation, and I asked where we would get the money to pay for all of this. He said that I need not worry, that he would take care of everything. Of course, I know that he just said that to put me at ease.
--
This is a big challenge for my family and of course to me. But hopefully and I strongly believed that I can surpassed this.
**I would like to thank everyone who help me. My well wishers, my prayer warriors, thank you all guys. I really appreciate everything that you all have done for me.**

Hey guys! Sorry for my inactivity, I will try to be active today after going to the hospital later.
Happy Friday the 13th!
I was called Bobo (Stupid)
Hello lovelies, How was your day? I went to bed early last night because I felt unwell. I did not have a fever, but I felt so weak. And then my daughter woke me up in the middle of the night because she had a headache and was asking for medicine. I got up immediately and gave her medicine until she went back to sleep before I went back to sleep as well. When I woke up this morning, she was a little feverish and was complaining of having a headache. I told her, "Kakacellphone mo yan." Then we both laughed. LOL!
Anyway, someone called me "bobo" or stupid today and I could not believe it. Until now, my blood has been pulsing at its highest temperature.Okay, so this is what happened. I went to the nearby store earlier to buy our snack. Apparently, one of our neighbors was also there, and she was talking about the election. All you could hear was her voice because it was so loud and annoying. I don't usually mingle with them, so I just smiled at her while buying what I needed.
And then, out of nowhere, she asked me, "Who did you vote for last Monday?" I just smiled because I have no plans to "makisawsaw sa usapan," but she kept on asking, so I told her that I voted for Isko.
And then she said, "You're stupid." Isko has no chance of winning. You should have voted for Leni. You just wasted your vote. " And then she laughed.
I was taken aback. I could not speak for a moment because I was surprised. I hate arguments, but this time it made me so annoyed that I could not stop myself from talking back, even if she was older than me.
"Excuse lang ha, bakit nasayang ang boto ko?" I voted for who I think is best for the position. And walang sayang doon even if Isko lost. And you don't have the right to call me stupid because I did not vote for Leni. We have all the right to vote for whom we want, and my voting for Isko is not a stupid thing to do. How about you, do you think you are smarter for calling me stupid?"
I was so furious that I forgot to take the change from my money. The store owner brought it to our house and told me to sana di ko na pinatulan. I had no plan naman because she was older, but calling me stupid because I did not vote for their candidate is a foul for me.
In my opinion, I think what made Leni lose was her supporters. It was the negative campaigning that dragged her down.
I voted for Isko, but as a Filipino, I will support Bongbong Marcos because he is now the President of our country.

That would be all, guys. Thanks for reading!

Clear Skin Or $5 Million?
I have written several "would you rather" writing prompts, but this one is kind of fun to answer with, **the beauty edition.** As a woman, I think it is normal to be conscious of how I look like, but not to the point of being paranoid. Well, anyway, I'd like to thank @Eirolfeam2 for this writing prompt because I am having writer's block and I have no topic to write about, so this saves my day. You can check her article at this link. https://read.cash/@Eirolfeam2/would-you-rather-beauty-edition-79165701
And so let's begin!
--
Without second thoughts, I would rather have five million dollars than clear skin for life. I can easily achieve that clear skin if I have that much money on me. And I really don't care if I have pimple breakouts as long as I don't starve. My tummy is more important than my face, lol!
I'd rather have good hair than perfect eyebrows. As we all know, our hair is our crowning glory. It's what makes us beautiful. We look good if we have long, lustrous hair. And I really don't care about not having the perfect eyebrow. I don't belong to those who have a motto "kilay is life."
Just like Florie Mae's answer, I would rather have clear skin because I am too lazy to wash my face. Even when I was younger, I always forgot to wash my face before going to bed because I was so tired from work, and the results were pimple breakouts. So having a clear skin without having to wash my face every day is a blessing, lol!
I don't shave because there is nothing that needs shaving, lol! So I would rather choose to never get gray hair. At the age of 42, I have so many gray hairs already. Maybe it is the result of constant hair rebonding and hair dyeing before. Having said that, it will damage your hair if you constantly dyed your hair. So to never get gray hair for life is a big YES to me.
I would instantly freeze to death if I choose the latter so I would rather choose lukewarm bath everyday. And besides bathing in a lukewarm water has benefits to our body. It can helps us relax and release stress.
I seldom wear make up. The last time I applied make up in my face was... I can't remember anymore, lol! So I would rather have a lifetime supply of shampoo. I can totally save a lot of money if there is someone who will give me a lifetime supply of shampoo. So, anyone?
I love painting my nails. This is the one thing that I am actually having fun doing it. So having one color on my nails for life is so boring. So I would rather paint my nails different shade but not everyday, at least 4 times a week.
I remember when I was living alone, I used to paint my nails almost everyday with differsnt colors on each nails. I did it to entertain myself. And besides I have nothing else to do in my day offs. And one more thing, I feel so beautiful if I have nail polish, hihihi!
And it's a wrap! Thanks for reading!

I Have Done My Part + Budol Buys

May 9 is very important to every Filipino because this is the day that we will decide who we think is best to lead our country for the next six years. To be honest, I am still undecided about who should be the next president. Or I might end up not voting in the presidential race. But let's see, I might have a change of heart when I am in front of the polling precinct.
Anyway, this morning, people were clamoring because they were collecting their envelopes from every purok leader in our barangay. I am talking about vote-buying. Vote buying is real and I do believe that there is no aspiring politician that is not involved in vote-buying. We all know that it is against the law, but even our government can not stop it. I am guilty of accepting money from a politician. It was brought to our house by a friend. I accepted it because, why not? For all we know, it all came from the taxes we paid. I accepted it, but I will vote for whoever I think is best in the position. Who I think will help our country to progress.

Okay, enough with the seriousness and let's move on to what my article really is about. It's been four days since the 5.5 sale happened, and I am one of those shoppers who waited for that day because I was eyeing different products to buy. I uninstalled the Lazada app on my phone but installed it again just for this event, lol!
I was looking for a rechargeable fan that could be used both on AC and DC. I have searched for different products and even asked for a recommendation in noise.cash for this one. @Momentswithmatti told me that the Firefly brand is better because they have been using it and tested it to be sturdy and durable.
We actually had one before, and it was also a Firely brand, and just like what she said, it is really durable but a bit pricey. I was hoping to find the same product but much cheaper, but I ended up finding none. So I consulted my husband about it (he should know because he is the one paying for it, lol!) and he said, "Checkout na yan." LOL!
As you can see, the price of it is 1,500 pesos plus the shipping fee worth 254 pesos. But I only paid 1,456 pesos because I used a 300 pesos-worth of voucher for being a new user.
And I can say that it is a good buy because I really love the product. The fan lasts for 6 hours if it is fully charged and it is charging while we are using it in an AC conductor. By the way, I bought this for my husband so that he would have an electric fan to use once he settles into his job.
I got this one from Shoppee. I really wanted to have this kind of mug, and from its original price of 199 pesos, it became 107 pesos, so I bought three pieces immediately. I used ShoppeePay for this one, so I got a free shipping discount. I have not received the product. Maybe a day or two.
Obviously, this one is for kaartehan lang, hahaha! Once I shop, I can not stop! LOL! But we actually needed the charging cords because the ones we're using are showing signs of replacement. These are not yet in my hand, but I think they will be delivered tomorrow.
The phone case pendant is for my daughter. She paid for it. while the reading glass is for me. The ones I am using are already broken, so I will try this one if my eyes suit it. If not, I have no other choice but to visit an opthalmologist again, and it will cost me more.
---
I had to stop writing for a while to vote. And right now I am currently in line, waiting for my turn to vote. The whole thing is well organized so even there is a long queue of voters, it is not magulo.
1 hour later........
Finally, I have done my part as a Filipino. It took a while to finish it all because I sincerely chose who to vote.
And after three days or more, the fate of our country lies in the hand of the next leader that every Filipino voted.

To My Mama, with Love
*You were strict with me and my siblings when we were kids. You taught us every household chore that there is. We always felt that you did not love us because you made us do this and that while other kids had fun playing outside.*
*You wanted us to sleep every afternoon, but we wanted to play outside, so you accompanied us with a broomstick in your hand until we fell asleep.*
*I remember those times when you were teaching me how to read and write. I was crying every time because if I made just one mistake, you would hit my hand with a stick. But I am thankful for what you did because it has made me a bright kid in school. You were so proud of every recognition in school because I was always on the list of top students.*
*You may be strict with us, but we understand that it is for our own good in the long run.*
*And then you left. You left us without saying goodbye. We just woke up without you by our side. I cried and asked why? Why would you leave us? Do you not love us? I hated you for that.*
*Years had gone by and we were reunited. I no longer hate you, but I still resent you. You asked for forgiveness, and it took me years before my heart finally forgave you.*
*And now that I have a family of my own and have been through all the storms in life, I now understand that there are things in life that are beyond our control. No matter how hard we try, things will happen as they are bound to happen.*
*Maybe you did what you did thinking that it was the best thing to do at that time. It might be or it might not be, but it is all in the past now. No matter what happens, you are my mom, and I owe my life to you. So how can I resent you? I would not be in this world without you.*
*I love you....*

Good day, everyone! Since today is Mother's Day, I wrote this for my Mama. This is the first time that I wrote something like this for her. I wrote this last night and sent it to her this morning. She called right away and asked, "Who wrote this for you?" I was laughing because of her reaction. And then silence on the other side of the line, and moments later, I heard her sobbing. She said, "Thank you, Anak," and I said, "I love you Ma."
The younger me would never have said those words because they are so cheesy. But when my father died without me saying those words to him, I regretted it a lot. And I don't want to have the same regret again.
**Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there! We are supers that don't wear capes. Cheers to us! ❤**

"Our Blues"
A very hot Saturday, everyone! Jeez, it feels like we're only a few miles away from the sun. Okay, I may be a little exaggerating here, but the heat is so unbearable. You can almost cook an egg on the roof with this kind of weather. So you'd better drink water, like 8 glasses or more, to avoid heat stroke or any illness that is associated with summer heat.
Anyway, last night, before I went to sleep, I tried watching the on-going Korean drama on Netflix, which has the title "Our Blues." The drama is about different people's stories about life and how to survive on Jeju Island. It is also about friendship, love, and family. I don't like this type of drama because most of them are heavy dramas, and I don't want to be stressed. But what caught my attention was Shi Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin. I love this couple, and I thought they were also a couple in the said drama, but to my dismay, they are not. However, I continued to watch the show because I got curious about the characters of the two.
I got hooked just by watching episode 1. It is not the typical romance drama, but I love how the story goes. I will not say more about it because I don't want to be a spoiler.
But I will be talking about the characters of In-gwon and Hosik! Sorry guys, lol! Anyway, In-gwo and Hosik were best buddies in high school. But as they grow old, something happens to both of them that makes Hosik end up hating In-gwo and vice versa. By the way, they are both single fathers. Hosik has a daughter named Hyeon, and In-gwo has a son named Yeong-ju and life decided their fate. Their kids ended up falling in love with each other, and the girl got pregnant.
Both of them love their kids and don't want their future ruined by the situation. Both of the kids have a bright future ahead of them because they are top students in their school. So both Bosik and In-gwon wanted Hyeon to abort the baby, but the kids decided to have the baby.
In Episode 9, it highlights how Hosik and In-gwo persuaded their kids to abort the baby. And it also shows their past and how their friendship was ruined.
I got so emotional watching it last night. As a mom, I can totally relate to both parents. They just want their kids to have a bright future and won't suffer just like they did. They have given everything, sacrificing their happiness just to see their kids have a good future. Then it happened. It was so devastating for a parent.
But I also love Yeong-ju and Hyeon. How they fight for what they think is the right thing to do, and that is to have the baby instead of aborting it.
The whole time I was watching it last night, I was crying. In the back of my mind, what if this happens to me and my daughter (knock on wood, simbako palayo) I would also feel devastated. How could she break my trust? I might even beat her until she begs me to stop. But as a mom, I can not turn my back on her. In that situation, she needed me the most. She needed someone to guide her, to come up with a good decision and not go down the wrong path.
Okay, enough with it. I am getting emotional again. Try to watch it, guys. You will learn something from it and you will surely love it.
Thanks for reading guys!

Have A Break
It's been a week since I've felt unwell. And yesterday was the worst because I experienced body pain and I felt nauseous. So I decided to give myself a break from my online hustle and took a rest. I just slept and ate and slept and ate yesterday. I felt fine, but then last night, at 12 am, I woke up because I felt so cold and my body temperature was so high again. So I asked my husband to get my medication, and after I took it, I went back to sleep again. I woke up this morning feeling fine, and as of this moment, I am still doing good. No more body pains, and I don't feel nauseous anymore. I hope that my condition will continue to be okay.
Anyway, many things happened yesterday. The first thing was about my sister, Katy. So this is what happened. She went to Manila yesterday to get her documents and a plane ticket to the agency. And then she called me, saying that she was there, and the money she had in her wallet was 200 pesos, or $4 only, and she had to attend a meeting regarding her departure today. Obviously, her money was not enough for all those things, plus she had to go back to Bataan. I told her why she went to Manila with money that was not enough for her travel. What if something happened to her? How would she be able to survive? And then she said that she knew "na di ko sya matitis." By the way, she is an OFW in Hong Kong. She added that she had no one to borrow money from, so she asked me if I had a spare to lend to her. I asked her how much she needed. She said that she needed 2,500 pesos, or $50, for her transportation and pocket money worth 200 Hong Kong dollars.
I have $55 on bitcoin.com. It was my 4 days' earnings in noise and then read.cash. I am saving it for my appointment in Iloilo on May 26. But since my sister needed it, I sent it to my coins.ph and converted it into our fiat.
I told her to look for a remittance center nearby because I would send her the money she needed. She said that she was near Palawan Pawnshop. I told her to wait because I would send her the money.
While I was inputting the necessary details and was about to confirm it, I saw that she could not claim the money right away. I was taken aback. She needed the money right away, and it would be a lot of trouble if I gave it to her, but she's already in Hong Kong the day after. So I was like, "Thank God."
So I told her to look for LBC, and after a while, she called again and told me she was in front of LBC. So I sent her the money and she claimed it afterward. She was so thankful and promised me to return the favor once she'd settled in Hong Kong. I told her that there was no need for that and advised her to pay off all her debts and save money, that she was getting old and yet she had no house of her own. I told her to be wise this time.
And now, she's already in Hong Kong. Her flight was at 5 in the morning today. And we just had a video call while I was writing this. She showed me the hotel where she was staying for her 7-day quarantine. I told her she needed to rest a lot because she was going to work her a$$ off again.
She said she was very happy because, after 2 years of not being able to work because of the pandemic, she now has a stable job that could sustain her family's needs and pay all her debt.
And of course, as her ate, I am also happy for her, but somehow, I already miss her. I just hope that her new employer is a good one and not like how her previous employer was.
--
And that's how my day went yesterday. I will try to cope up everything from now on. I just hope that Rusty still remembers me, lol! Thanks for reading!

Hello every, I apologize for being inactive and was not able to read and reply tonyour comments. I still feel unwell and this morning, something came up that got me so busy.
But I am back now. And I will make it up to you all.
