Missing my Missing Ash
It has been 2 days since Ash went missing. If I had known that this would happen, I should not have let them roam at night. That was not the setup before. I always see to it that when the clock struck 8 in the evening, they are all inside the house. Closed all the windows so that they could not go out in the middle of the night. I have no problem in calling them one by one at night, all I have to do is bang their food container and they would run like crazy getting inside our house. But as they grow older, they would leave so much mess in the morning, not to mention the things that they broke when they were playing at night. And my husband has been complaining about cleaning up their mess. So just recently, we leave the windows open so that they can go out if they like to and most of the time, they stayed outside until dawn.
And now, Ash is missing. I thought that he would come back hours after he went missing. I thought maybe he went out for a walk, to unwind, to meet his friends, or to check on his girl and would come back after. But up to now, still no sign of him.
Who is Ash?
To those who don't know Ash, Ash is my cat. He was among our Mama cat Luna's first litter and he's the youngest. Among the first litter, he is my favorite because he is so adorable and so clingy. He loves to eat fish and the only brand of dog food he eats is Pedigree. He wouldn't eat if I bought a different brand. He also eats meat but he wants it raw. He doesn't want cooked meat.
When Luna gave birth to him and his siblings, I was keeping an eye on them. I cut their umbilical cords and clean them because Luna gets weak when giving birth. And when they all came out, Ash was the biggest and by the way, he is the only one who had a different color so I named him Ash.
But now he"s missing, I don't know where he went or maybe someone took him that night. And if someone really took him, I hope he feeds him right and would not be mistreated.
My husband and I searched the entire subdivision, hoping that we could find him. Just this morning, my husband went to the other side of the subdivision to look for him but still no sign of him. People asked him who he was looking for and when they told him that he was looking for our cat, some laughed at him. But he didn't care, all he wanted to do is to find Ash. He also asked the kids to find Ash and tell us if they could find him. And they will be rewarded. I hope they could find my Ash.
This was the time that I was writing an article for read.cash and suddenly he kept on meowing while looking at me. He wanted me to pet him and carry him. So I just stop writing and play with him, after that he slept on top of my laptop. That's what I love about my Ash, he is so clingy.
I miss him so much. I always burst in tears every time I am reminded of him. Just now, my husband gets mad at me because I kept on crying. He said that it will not do any good for my health condition so I should stop thinking about Ash. But what could I do, my heart won't stop thinking about him. I miss him so much that it breaks my heart.
I hope that he could still find his way into our home. And if someone found him, I hope he treats him well and loves him as much as I had loved Ash.
--
Sorry if I may sound overacting but I treat each one of them as my baby, they are all part of our family. So it felt like I lose my baby when Ash went missing. I am heartbroken and only fur parents know how it felt like to lose one.

Some Thoughts to Ponder
Before we talk about my main topic today, let me share our morning quick date on the beach. We have this belief that going to the beach whether you will go for a swim or just walk along the seashore can cure a simple cough and cold. I have been enduring my cough and cold for days, although my condition is getting better, I still experience a clogged nose from time to time. That is why my husband told me yesterday that we will go to the beach early morning and we did. We went there quarter to 7. It should be 6 am but I woke up late that's why. We stayed for almost an hour. My husband told me to go for a swim but the water was cold so nah, I just walk in the sand barefooted. I wanted to be at one with nature.
It was cloudy this morning and the wind was cold but I still manage to enjoy the scenery and the waves. I took a few photos, put them in one frame and I hope you'll like it.
And let me take you to our beach through this simple gif I made. I wish I could also include the sound of the waves.
--
Now moving on with my topic, but wait, let me thank @Ruffa for giving me an idea of what to write. I have read her article yesterday about some deep thoughts and so I decided to share mine. I have chosen 4 questions from this site. https://www.developgoodhabits.com/deep-questions/
Do you believe in giving people second chances, and why?
Of course, but it also depends on the situation or the degree of damage it caused you, and the sincerity of the person involve. Some would ask for forgiveness but you can't see any remorse on them. They would just say "sorry" because they think it is the right thing to do but they don't really mean it. Being sorry means you accept that you have done wrong and not everyone have the courage to acknowledge it. I have given second chances to many people because they deserved it. I have given it to my husband as well.
Do you think people fall in love because the right person has arrived, or because the time is right (regardless of whom the person is that they fall in love with)
I would say, people fall in love because the right person has arrived. There is no right time to fall for someone. Some found their true love at a very young age, while some at their later days. So you can't really tell when it is the right time, once you feel it, there is no escape from it.
How important is trust in a relationship?
Trust is one of the key foundation in a relationship. Without it, how would you be able to love someone? It is easy to give your love but it is hard to give your trust to someone. Love without trust is not love at all.
Do I like who I am right now?
One time, I asked my husband, *"what if I chose to pursue college, where do you think I'll be right now?* He answered, "*You would definitely be a successful career woman, will have a better life, but you don't have me and I will not have you. "*
Then asked him again, *"Do you regret having me? "*
He said, *"No, do you?* " I hugged him, kissed him and said no. I am contented of what I have right now. Of course, there were times that I think I could have a better life if only I didn't do the things that put me in the situation I am in right now. The feeling that I could have done better but I chose not to. I chose the path that gave me the life that I have now. But I guess, that's life, there is always "if only" or "what if." But not all have what I have right now, a complete and happy family. And I am HAPPY about it.

**Photo from Google**
I mean may magandang naidulot sa pagkatao namin.

It's all About Siomai
The current time I started writing this is 3:07 pm. The weather is so hot that I was drenched in sweat when I woke up from a nap.
Does this mean that we will have an early summer this year? Oh well, let's leave that matter to the expert. But because of the cold weather this past few weeks, I prefer this kind of weather for now. I have been sick for days because of that. Good thing that I am feeling much better. No more colds and sore throat. I didn't take any medication for the flu, I just drank more water, took Vitamin C, and gurgle warm water with salt. And it helps. No more worries whether I have a Covid or not. I am so stressed lately because of that thought. Whew, what a relief!
Anyway, just like I said, I took a nap after our lunch because I only had 4 hours of sleep, the least, last night. I was looking after my cat named "Siomai", he is sick since yesterday. I don't know what made him sick because yesterday morning, he was still okay. He ate and played with his siblings, but after an hour he was just lying in the corner and wouldn't want to eat his food. I think he has a fever because when I held him in my arms, his body is hot than usual.
So I tried giving him a home remedy, which I have learned from a Facebook page. It is a mixture of ginger extract and brown sugar.
Just follow these steps to make the ginger mixture;
grate the ginger
squeezed off the extract
add a teaspoonful of brown sugar to the ginger extract and mix well
This is what you will get after;
I used a syringe when giving this to him and it was not easy. He doesn't want to take it because of its taste so it was a struggle. However, it was all worth it. I was keeping an eye on him and hours later, I think that was 1 am, he was asking for food and sleep after. Asked for food around 5 am then slept again. It was a good sign that he is slowly recovering.
This is Siomai(white) and his brother Shadow. I just gave him his meds before taking this photo. You might be wondering why I named him Siomai. Well, I had an adopted kitten before. I found him in the grass field while I was out with my dogs. I think it was only days old because it has still umbelical cord attached to it. I tried my best to keep it alive but after 3 days, he died. So I promised myself that if Luna gave birth again, I will name one of its kitten Siomai to remember my adopted kitten. Going back to Siomai, hopefully, he will continue to get better because I cannot afford to bring him to a veterinarian because I myself am under medication.
I recommend this ginger mixture to all fur parents out here whose furbabies are sick. Try this as first aid, this work on my dogs before so I am sure it will also work for your fur babies.
Okay, time for me to end this here, I need to finish my snack. I am having what we called "witwit, binignit, giantaang bilo-bilo" The name differs depending on what region you are in. Well here in Capiz, we call this "within."
So, Bon appetite!

I am so sorry for this random article today. I am still thinking about whether to publish it or not, lol!
*So I decided to publish it an hour and a half after writing it. I had a hard time thinking of a good title.*

You, look what you made me do.
It is not my usual time to write an article. I usually write late afternoon, around 3 pm onwards and sometimes at night. But because I can't wait to share what I dreamt last night, here I am jotting this down. We know that dreams have a different meanings. I don't know the importance of what I dreamt, so I leave it up to you to interpret my dreams.
--
The first "weird" dream that I had happened a week ago. In that dream, I was on a beautiful island. Everything was shimmering, shining. The sand was white, and it felt like I was in a different world. There was no particular person with me in that dream; all I knew was I was with someone. The people around me were also enjoying what they saw. The water was shallow, so you could enjoy the water without the fear of drowning (that's for us who don't know how to swim.)
Then all of a sudden, I saw a volcano. It seems so near because I can almost see the crater. So I hurriedly looked for my phone. I went to where I put my things but could not see my phone. I keep saying, "where is my phone? Where is my phone?"
I was desperately looking for my phone because I wanted to capture the volcano's beauty and POST IN ON NOISE.CASH, LOL!
The next dream that I will share happened just last night. I was having lunch at baybay (beach). I can't remember the people I'm having lunch with; all I know is that I knew them. Then I noticed that there was something odd about the beach. I told the people with me on the table, but they ignored it and continued chit chatting. All of a sudden, the water seems to move backward (gets nyo ba? Yun bang biglang umurong un water, hehe). And then I saw big waves from afar, so I told them that there was a tsunami approaching.
`Source: Giphy App`
The people were clamoring. I saw children were crying while shouting "Mama." I don't know if my daughter was with me; I remember I was just running for my life.
Then, the next thing I saw was the wrath of the tsunami. But the thing was, I felt like I was in another world. There were huge stones on the sea beds. Plants that I never saw in my entire life. Huge stone carvings, I even saw a small statue of whatnot. Then people were all so amazed at what they saw. You can see the seabed because the water receded. There were also fishes desperately grasping for air.
And so, I immediately look for my phone again. I saw my uncle who was dead a long time ago. He was also enjoying the view. I asked him if I could borrow his phone. To my dismay, he took out his phone from his pocket and handed it to me, but it was an old model and had no camera. I gave it back to him and looked for someone who could lend me their phone, even just for a minute. **My reason was to capture what had happened and the beautiful carvings that I can use in my article to read.cash,** LOL!
--
I don't know the meaning of my dreams. All I know is that noise.cash and read.cash has been in my system too much to become a part of my dream, lol! Or, I am desperate to earn money on both platforms that I don't want to miss an opportunity such as those in my dreams that I can use in my article. How about you guys? How would you interpret my dreams?

The Kind of Person I Am/Wanted to Be
It was another gloomy day in our area. Like the other day, our day ends with slight rainfall, making the night a bit colder, hence making my clogged nose worst. I did the steam last night, but I think steam doesn't work for everybody. I woke up around 4 am because I was catching my breath. My husband assisted me and asked if I needed to be brought to the hospital again; I said no need. It took an hour and a half before I felt better, so I went back to sleep and woke up at 7 am. What a way to start our year; getting sick these days is problematic because of the pandemic.
Anyways, I won't let this condition bother me, and I want to write something else. I saw this in @Ruffa's article and thought it was an excellent topic to write. It is a video where you will be shown a series of words. And the first word you will notice will reveal a lot about yourself. Sounds fun, right?
Okay, now, let us begin.
The first word that I saw was HUMBLE. **It is the word that describes how I see myself as a person.**
Am I humble? Is it okay to say that I am humble? I think I am boasting if I would say that I am modest. If being humble means that I am not bragging about my achievements or want to be in the limelight, I can consider myself humble. Bragging about everything I've done will only cost me a headache because people expect more from you. So for me, it is much better to work in silence.
The second word is NURTURING. **It is the word that describes how I want others to see me as a person.**
I would say that this word suits me. Since I was a kid, I have always looked after my cousins because their parents work. I am the eldest granddaughter, so it became my duty to look after my cousins, and I have nothing to say against it. It somehow helps me to be ready in life. As I grow older, to be nurturing comes out naturally. I have been looking after my sisters until I settled down, and now that I am a mother, I think I did well being a mom. Thanks to those times when I nurtured my cousins at a very young age. It somehow helps me to be ready to become a good mother. And I would say that this is what I am good at doing. So I guess people will see me as a nurturing person too.
And the last but not the least is PRODUCTIVE. **It is the word that describes how I feel about my future.**
Am I productive? Well, I guess I am. I am productive in the virtual world, especially when I have joined noise, cash, and read.cash. The only thing that kept me from being productive was my disease and Korean drama, lol! I am productive being a mother. I am productive being a wife; my husband can attest to that. And I am productive being myself. So to think that I am being productive now,I think I can do better in the future. I will be productive and I CLAIM IT!
--
This game is fun because you can see different words, but different people will quickly notice other words. So I guess the first word you notice will really reveal a lot about yourself. If you want to try this exciting game, just click me. https://fb.watch/ap3cWPzDiO/

I woke up this early because my asthma had struck again, and this clogged nose made it worst. I had to use my inhaler to help me breathe properly. I hope tho is just a normal cough and cold and no underlying condition.
The Good and The Bad
Our day started with a usual routine. My husband woke up earlier than me. He took our dogs out for a walk, and before they head back, I also got myself out from the bed. Washed my face, combed my hair, and fixed something for breakfast. Can't find anything in the pantry( char, drawer lang, hahaha!) so I just boiled water for our coffee.
While waiting for the water to boil, I swept the front yard. Cleaned the mess left by my cats the other night. Dried leaves and sticks were all over the place not to mention the dead lizards and cockroaches. Jeeez, these gremlins can be so mean sometimes. But it's their nature so it can't be helped.
Then my husband and dogs were back and he told me that he'll clean the house. So I just stayed in the front yard and did some hula hoops and some stretching exercises. It took him 30 minutes to finish and so we had our breakfast at 7:30 in the morning. We just had coffee and a sandwich. We were both quiet while having breakfast. He was in deep thought and so am I. I was thinking of how will I be able to accumulate enough bch for my medication because as you all know noise.cash is a little bit "kuripot" now and also the market is bloody red.
Then suddenly, my husband said that he will go job-hunting today. That he will not go home until he finds a new job. Oh, so that's what he's been thinking about. No wonder he was so quiet. So after we had breakfast, he took a shower and left. While he was out, I washed the dishes and checked my noise.cash account. I was busy reading some posts when I received a message from my neighbor.
She said if I wanted to undergo swab testing. I was like, WHATTTTT?**with eyes wide open** What for? Then she said that my husband asked her the other day if the oxygen in our barangay is available because I am having difficulty in breathing. So I told her no need to do that. That I am fine. Maybe it was just because of the cold weather. Then she asked me if I have a cough and cold, body pains, headache, and fever. I told her, yes but I guess it's just normal flu, no need for me to do the swab test. And besides, I just got vaccinated. Then she said if my symptoms persist, I needed to do the swab test but for now, I just need to isolate myself to avoid the virus to spread.
I know that it is free, the swab test, but my concern is that we have to be quarantined again for 21 days, buti sana kung nagbibigay sila ng ayuda, eh hindi naman. It's so hard to be quarantined without any means to provide food and other expenses. And also my husband is looking for a job now, what if he'll get employed? So nah...
--
Then before lunch, my husband arrived. He said that he did not find any job. But he seems so happy so I asked him, why did he look so happy even though he didn't get any job.
Then he said that one of the nephews of his former boss (yun boss nya na nakatampuhan nya kaya sya nagresign sa work) called and told him that his boss wanted him to call. That his boss had been trying to contact him but he can't be reached. So Ampoy, the nephew who happens to be my husband's close friend too, gave him the number of his boss and told him to call as soon as possible. That is the reason why he went home kasi wala daw sya load, hahaha! So after I loaded his number, he immediately called but it was just ringing. But after a moment, his phone rang and it was his boss. So he happily takes the call.
After wanmilyon years, char, they ended the call, and my husband told me that his boss asked him if he wanted to work again in his company. Of course, my husband said yes. He just has to wait more time because the project is still in the bidding process but rest assured that they will get the project. The bidding process is for formality only. My husband was so happy. He and his boss are now reconciled. His boss company works for the government so there will be no days that they will have no work.
Their next project will be a big hospital in the second district and my husband will do the electrical. Hopefully it will start soonest, yey!
--
What I felt right now is mixed emotion. I am happy because finally, my husband and his boss are now reconciled, it means a job for my husband. And sad because I might need to undergo swab testing again and the worst is that if the result will be positive. But let's not think of the bad news, I will focus on the good news. I will have to take care of myself na lang. This is just a normal flu, hope so, lol!

Types of Autoimmune Diseases
Good day read-tizen! How's the 6th day of January for you? As for me, not getting any better. I still have a cough and cold and now headache as well. Last night I did not have a decent sleep because of my breathing issue. And also, I was afraid of the thought that I might not be able to wake up anymore, lol! Silly me.
Anyway, today is my daughter's birthday, she's now 19. No party or whatsoever because she knows very well about our financial situation and she understands. She told me that she can have a party next year instead. I am happy that my daughter is mature enough to understand everything that's going on in our family.
Okay, so let's move on to our topic, which is Kris Aquino and her fiance Mel Sarmiento's broke up. This is not the actual topic but has something to do with the topic(ano daw, lol!) Anyway, from what I have read in an article, one of the reasons was Kris' health condition.
Source https://www.philstar.com/entertainment/2022/01/04/2151741/i-guess-goodbye-kris-aquino-shows-mel-sarmientos-explanation-breakup
What really caught my attention was her having an autoimmune disease that caused her to lose weight drastically. She also stated that her autoimmune disease can only be treated but never cured.
So this leads me to think about what was her real condition or do we have the same autoimmune disease? Because she did not mention it in the said article. And so, I asked Uncle Google about the autoimmune diseases and this is what I've found....
There are 80 different autoimmune diseases but I will only include a few common autoimmune diseases in this article. But what is an autoimmune disease? **An autoimmune disease is a condition in which your immune system mistakenly attacks your body.** So imagine having one of these conditions, your immune system attacks your healthy cells hence, making you sick and vulnerable to other diseases.
Moving on with the types of autoimmune disease, the first one is;
**Type 1 Diabetes**
The pancreas produces the hormone insulin, which helps regulate blood sugar levels, but in Type 1 diabetes, the immune system attacks and destroys insulin-producing cells in the pancreas.
**Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)**
In rheumatoid arthritis, the immune system attacks the joints which causes redness, warmth, soreness, and stiffness in the joints.
**Psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis**
Skin cells normally grow and then shed when they’re no longer needed. Psoriasis causes skin cells to multiply too quickly. The extra cells build up and form inflamed red patches, commonly with silver-white scales of plaque on the skin.
**Multiple sclerosis**
Multiple sclerosis damages the myelin sheath, the protective coating that surrounds nerve cells, in your central nervous system. Damage to the myelin sheath slows the transmission speed of messages between your brain and spinal cord to and from the rest of your body.
**Systemic Lupus erythematosus**
Systemic lupus erythematosus affects many organs, including the joints, kidneys, brain, and heart.
**Graves' disease**
Graves' disease attacks the thyroid gland in the neck, causing it to produce too much of its hormones. Thyroid hormones control the body’s energy usage, known as metabolism. Having too much of these hormones revs up your body’s activities, causing symptoms like nervousness, a fast heartbeat, heat intolerance, and weight loss.
**Myasthenia gravis**
Myasthenia gravis affects nerve impulses that help the brain control the muscles. When the communication from nerves to muscles is impaired, signals can’t direct the muscles to contract. The most common symptom is muscle weakness that gets worse with activity and improves with rest. Often muscles that control eye movements, eyelid opening, swallowing, and facial movements are involved.
The early symptoms of many autoimmune diseases are very similar, such as:
fatigue
achy muscles
swelling and redness
low-grade fever
trouble concentrating
numbness and tingling in the hands and feet
hair loss
skin rashes
Researchers don’t know exactly what causes autoimmune diseases. Genetics, diet, infections, and exposure to chemicals might be involved.
Source: https://www.healthline.com/health/autoimmune-disorders#causes
So these are some of the autoimnune diseases. I never knew that type 1 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis is also an autoimmune disease. These diseases can be treated but not cured. The only thing that the medicine can do is to help the patient deal with the symptoms. But some of these disease can be life treatening like lupus and myasthenia gravis. The cause of these diseases is still unknown so it is better for you to live healthy and to not abuse your body while you're still young. I am so unfortunate to have Myasthenia gravis, but I guess this is what I get from abusing my body in my younger years. I used to work 24/7. Sometimes 48 hour straight working days. I am also a drinker and a smoker before. So now, I reap what I sow.
So while you still can, practice healthy living. Please do mind your body. You are the wealthiest when you're healthy.

We are already on the fifth day of the first month of the year 2022 and here I am, doing nothing productive. I wasn't active in noise.cash and also couldn't read that much article here in read.cash. So many piled-up articles in my notification. Trying to read 5 articles but then another 7 articles will be added. And so on. Why you're all so diligent in writing, hold your horses, take it, easy man! ( just kidding, I am not feeling well, that's why).
It is not because I want to but it's because my body won't let me. My body becomes weaker each day. I don't know what is happening now. Couldn't get a hold of my doctor. But I guess it was because of the cold weather we are experiencing now. I have a cough and a cold. It was just a runny nose at first but it get worst. Just this afternoon, I need to use the nebulizer again because I am catching my breath. It felt like something is pressing hard against my chest.
When I looked at my husband, I can see that he's worried and at the same time, I know what was running on his mind, that when my condition worsens, it's another problem again. That is the reason why sometimes I am not telling him when I feel sick because I don't want to complicate our situation.
Good thing that after the nebulization, I feel much better. Although I still have a cough and cold and am a little feverish. He kept on asking me If I'm okay, I said yes and went to our room to take a nap. When I woke up, he made a hot choco drink for me and told me that I am forbidden to have coffee from now on(no more coffee is life for me!).
Then while having my snack, my friend Madel messaged me that our friend Daphne was already on board bound to Paris. I felt sad all of a sudden. The feeling of being left behind because both of your friends are now abroad.
Madel is in Italy while Daphne will be in Paris hours from now. They have plans on meeting up in Paris. I wish I could be there with them. I am inggit, char!
Before, they often told me that they will find an Italian guy for me so that I can go to Italy or Paris, hahaha! But of course, it's just a joke..it has been our dream to meet, the three of us but it is now impossible. Although I have met Daphne but not Madel. But Madel is planning to visit me here when she'll have a vacation in 2023 but Daphne is in Paris so the three of us meeting in one place becomes impossible. I just wish that I could go to Italy or Paris too, who knows right?
Okay, I'll end it here na. My hand is trembling if I hold my phone for long. His Myasthenia gravis is giving me a hard time. Well, anyway, thanks for reading. This is just another nonsense article from me.

Fourth day of January 2022, I haven't done anything productive yet. I feel so weak kasi. Even kapag naglalakad ako is nanginginig yun mga paa at tuhod ko. When I take a bath kanina, may dala akong upuan kasi di ako makatayo ng matagal kasi nanginginig yun mga binti ko. I don't know why, I have taken my meds naman on time pero hinang hina ang katawan ko. I called the clinic kanina, sabi ng secretary ng doctor ko, wala pa si doc at nasa bakasyon pa daw at mukhang matatagalan pa makabalik dahil nga sa Omicron. Out of the country daw kasi nag bakasyon. Ang andoon lang ay ang nurse. She told me to take a rest lang muna at huwag magkikilos. Ganoon daw kasi talaga ang sakit ko. And she also told me na tatawagan nya agad ako kapag dumating na si Doc. They will try to contact him also sa messenger later.
I guess this is the result of the past holidays. Sobrang busy kasi ako that time, from pamamalengke hanggang sa pagluluto. I have no one naman kasi na pwede gumawa noon. So I guess this is the result, katawan ko ang nagsuffer.
I have no plan of writing sana today because even my hands are trembling kapag matagal na nakahawak sa phone. So I am sorry if this is written in our local language with a dash of English language. My brain isn't functioning well today, so please bear with me.
Today is also my father's death anniversary. It is the 4th pala, ang napost ko kasi sa noise kanina is 3rd anniversary. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon, biruin mo 4 years na palang nag trip to heaven ang Papa ko. My family and I were in Manila for a vacation last December 2017. And my Papa was also on vacation and plans to return to KSA for work in the proceeding month which is January 2018. Our vacation talaga was already planned September 2017 pa lang. I saved enough money from my different raket online. My husband has stable job pa din that time so yun pera na kinikita ko online eh naitatabi ko. So I had enough money for our vacation at that time. I was very happy kasi that was the first time na magbabakasyon kaming 3 na magkakasama.
The day before Papa died, nakasama pa namin sya. We went to Daranak Falls in Tanay. I never thought na it was the last time na makakasama namin si Papa.
This was taken January 3, 2018. My Papa is the one wearing blue sando. We never knew na he is not feeling well na pala at that time. We were talking while we had our lunch there about sa mga plans nya pagbalik nya abroad. He was even planning to have a vacation dito sa bahay namin pagbalik nya from working abroad. Look how happy we were, yan na pala ang huli. Shedding tears while writing this, I get so emotional kapag Papa ko na pinag-usapan. I have so many regrets kasi. Many should have, could have.
But I know he's in heaven now. He is a good man, many can attest to it. He is more of a giver than a receiver. That's the kind of man my father was. Sorry, it's not necessary to mention those pero nagagalit kasi ako kapag naiisip ko yun. And that could be the reason my father died, kasi pag uwe nya dito eh ubos na ang pera na inipon nya and then tambak pa ang utang nila. Kaya hinintay nila ako na dumating from Cavite.
Hi guys, sorry ha, I know di ko dapat ishare sa inyo but I have nowhere to say it or let it all out eh. This is the only place that I could say anything without being judged. and I thank you all for that.....

Cry and I Cry Alone
Anhyeong!
One of my goals this year is to at least read 10 or 15 articles this year. I started it yesterday and was able to read 12 articles. However, I have been slacking today. Not because I want to but because my body feels so weak. The muscles in my legs and arms are stiff. I have taken my meds but I still feel the same. It has been like this for 2 days, and I am getting worried. I am also having difficulty breathing for 3 consecutive days especially at night. I thought it was because of the cold weather so I didn't mind it that much. This is what the doctor told me before, that my condition will worsen as time goes by. Since the only thing that the medicines can do are to relieve my symptoms. Myasthenia gravis has no cure. I have to deal with this forever and I am hoping to live longer.
*You have to take care of your body. If your health deteriorates, you won't be able to walk because your muscles will stiffed. All the muscles in your body will stiffed including the muscles in your respiratory system. Most people who have Myasthenia gravis died because their lungs were paralyzed.*
That's what my doctor told me before. And I accepted it because I have no other choice and I thought I am okay with it. I have been dealing with this for months now and I thought I am now used to it. I thought I am okay...but why do I feel like this. I am scared... Scared of the thought that I might die any moment. I thought I am okay, that I have already accepted my faith, until now..
I didn't say anything about it to my husband. I don't want to be a burden to him. He noticed that I cannot walk up straight earlier and asked me if I'm okay. I just told him that I am fine. That it was just a simple muscle cramp, but it was not.
Now, while I was typing this, my tears are flowing in both cheeks. My daughter is taking a bath while my husband went to the pharmacy to buy my medicine. So I am taking this opportunity to cry my heart out. I am not okay.. I am not okay.. Oh God help me.....
Sorry if I post it here. This is the only place that I could say whatever I want without my family knowing it. I can't post it on Facebook either because they will surely know. As I said, I don't want to be a burden to them.
Last night, I dreamt of something weird and scary. In my dream, I was in a wake. I saw my family, my mom, sisters, daughter, and my husband. I was asking them who died but nobody seems to noticed me. So I walk up straight to the coffin to see who's inside and to my horror, I saw myself. I am inside the coffin. I am dead! And I was so scared. I screamed and screamed until I woke up. Maybe that is the reason why I feel like this.
I am sorry guys, for sharing my sentiments here.
A Little bit of This and That
It's the 2nd day of 2022, what are you guys up to? I am pretty sure that most of you are making the most out of the holiday. Some are still on party mode, like one of our neighbors here. They've been singing like crazy. It's a bit annoying because they are so loud but, yeah, let them enjoy because tomorrow, we'll all be back to reality. Back to work, back to school, back to grinding and hustling. As for me, no matter what day it is, it's all the same.
Let me share what I call "lutang moment." This happened just a while ago. I was sleeping when my husband woke me up, he wanted me to accompany him to the market to buy food for our dog. So I just washed my face and fixed my hair then off we go. We almost reached our destination when I realized that I am not wearing a facemask. I cover my face with my hand and told my husband that I have no face mask on. He was a bit annoyed, we stopped at the nearest drug store and bought a face mask. Then as I was buying, I noticed that my slippers were not the same. The left side was of my husband while the other side was mine. I was laughing when I told my husband about it and he didn't know how to react. Some people have noticed it and they were all smiling.
Imagine wearing this in a public place, what would you do? What a great way to start my year, lol!
The introvert side of me has been anxious these past few days. My inlaws are going home, for good. They've been in Canada for 20 years and now retiring. They are going to have a vacation here together with the family of my stepmom-in-law. She had 2 daughters and a son from her first husband. And also my brother-in-law and their family will be coming along with them.
Honestly, I am not comfortable with their company. They are kind but I know that their kindness is not genuine. When I was in "bingit ng kamatayan", they never bothered to call. Not even a single " how are you?". They didn't even bother to give even a single penny for my meds. I mean, I am not expecting anything from them but at least they should have called, right? So I know that they did not care. It's like "pakitang tao" only. And I know that my father-in-law is a bit mad because of me. I cannot disclose the details because it is too personal. But you know how inlaws are especially when they do not totally accept you in the family.
In fairness, my inlaws have been so generous to us and helped us in any way they could. But I don't know why I feel this way. And I am already worried about their reaction if I cannot go to Boracay with them because of my condition. My health could be at risk in long-distance travel. I am worried that they might think of it the wrong way.
If you were in my shoes, what will you do? I know that I am exaggerating and I might actually be the problem but I cannot help to feel this way. Oh the hell with it, I'll just figure it out when the time comes.

Out with the Old, In with the New, 2022!
**Happy New Year read-tizens! How did you welcome the year 2022?**
Last night, after cooking with what we'll be having for Media Noche, I took a bath despite the temperature. Jeeez, it was so cold that after bathing, I instantly had a runny nose, lol! Then I set up the table. I also became busy checking my fur babies now and then. I put all my dogs in one room and my cats in the other room. But when the clock strikes 12, they became so uneasy that my husband had to comfort them in the room. He stayed with them until the noise subsided.
So I and my daughter went outside to welcome the new year. We couldn't make noise inside because it will cause anxiety to my pets so we rather make noise outside.
That's how our neighborhood usually welcomes the new year. We stay outside and greeted each other while watching the fireworks display. Sorry for the not-so-clear photo, hehe.
I saw some of my neighbors who had a misunderstanding before, hugged each other. To forgive is the greatest gift you could give to yourself and that's what my neighbors did last night. Let bygones be bygones and keep moving forward.
This is the decent picture we had last night, lol! This was taken after all the loud noises. Look at my husband, he seems to have fallen asleep while comforting the dogs in our room, hahaha!
I also found this on my phone this morning, my daughter welcomed the year with a wacky photo, hehe.
We just had a simple celebration welcoming 2022.
So let's go to the main topic of this article, my hopes, and goals for this year. You can also consider this as New Year's resolution. I often do this in my younger days, so let me once again do it this time.
***To be more healthy***
I guess most of you know that I got sick last year. And not just a simple sickness but a rare one. So this year, I will practice healthy living. I will start by doing exercise every day. I have done it last year and will continue to do it this year. I am also doing Zumba at least 3 times a week. To eat more veggies and less fatty foods. Fewer sodas, fewer junk foods until I could totally eradicate those in my eating habit.
***To spend less and save more***
I wish to save more this year. Save more because I am planning to have a vacation in my mother's home in Bataan this coming December.
Now, let's go to my goals in the crypto world.
***To at least read 10 to 15 articles per day in read.cash.***
I admit I wasn't able to read all the articles from my subscription and I am sorry. I will make it up to you all. I will try to read at least 15 articles a day to show my support and gratitude as well.
***To hold 1 BCH***
This has been my dream ever since I started blogging, to be able to hold 1 bitcoin cash. I actually could have done it if only my family's finances did not depend on me last year. So hopefully before 2022 ends, I wish to have 1 bch in my wallet. *(fingers crossed)*
***To give back to the BCH Community.***
One of my goals is to sponsor users here in read.cash and upvote articles as much as possible this year. Last year, I could not do it because I needed every penny I could get for my medication. And thanks to noise and read because I can sustain my medication without having to borrow money from other people. So this year, it is my one goal to give back to the community.
This is not a promise but a goal to achieve. And I will bring out the best effort that I have to accomplish this all, hopefully, the odds will be in my favor.

Happy New Year guys! May this year 2022 BCH will take us to the moon! ❤❤❤
A Time To Say Both Goodbye And Hello
This is the busiest time of the year. People all over the world are preparing to welcome the new year with a bang. Doing their best hoping to have a brighter and more promising year. Some even change how they look by coloring their hair, cutting their hair short thinking that it would help brush off all the negativity from the previous year. I do that every year when I was in my teenage years. And I guess it helps...
**How was the year 2021 for me?**
The year 2021 did not start well for me. First, before 2021 even started, my husband resigned from his work. So we welcomed 2021 him being unemployed. It was a big blow for our family because he was the sole provider. We struggled financially from time to time.
Then in the last quarter of the year, my health got compromised. I was diagnosed with Wallenberg Syndrome. And while I'm under medication, I got infected with the Covid19 virus. Such as life, when it rain, it pours indeed.
The whole family was encompassed. My mother, my sister, aunts were so worried that they kept on calling almost every hour. So I thought, is this the end for me?
Then after I survived the Covid19 virus, another disease hits me, the Myasthenia gravis, which is an autoimmune disorder. How unlucky, right?
However, despite everything that has happened to me and my family, I still consider myself lucky. Lucky because many people gave us support emotionally and even helped me with my medication. People who I never thought would extend their helping hand because they do not know me personally. And that is the people I met in noise.cash and read.cash.
When I was diagnosed with Wallenberg Syndrome, the first thing that come to my mind was where the hell I am going to get the money needed for my medication. A huge sum of money was needed. So I tried my luck in noise.cash and I am overwhelmed with all the help that I received. From people who don't know me personally but helped me in every way they could.
And in terms of blogging, I could safely say that I did well. From the day noise.cash was created, I earned an estimated amount of 50 thousand pesos. 50 thousand pesos for a year. A big blessing to me and my family. Honestly, with the help of noise.cash, and read.cash, I was able to provide food on our table. For 1 year, we survived with the help of both platforms.
I also earned 5272 subscribers and belong to the top 20 users of noise.cash. I know that some of them are spammers, but believe me, numbers can make a difference in terms of attracting more subs.
I am also lucky when I decided to return and write again in read.cash because rusty visited my article right away. I was also welcomed warmly by my friends on both platforms. I guess that is the reason why rusty has been so generous to me because of the support that I get from my friends.
And last but not the least, I became a part of the #Club1BCH! I could not believe it at first. I thought that maybe it was just a mistake. But then I received a message from Jane that she added me to the Club1BCH. It is an honor for me to belong in the club because I know that more opportunities will be open for me. Opportunities to earn and learn more in the crypto verse.
So despite everything, I could say that 2021 is still a better year. It may have started in a bad state for me but I and my family survived. My health is getting better and that's more than enough for me.
Therefore, let me say **GOODBYE 2021!** Thank you for all the lessons you have taught me. To all the opportunities and friends you have given me. I will never forget them all and would treasure them in my heart.
And **HELLO 2022!** I hope for more and better opportunities along the way. More friends to treasure and most importantly a much better, healthier version of me.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉🎊🎇

Please keep me safe Hoomans!
Good day read-tizen! How was your day so far? We have gloomy weather again today so I am more slacking than usual. But I did some Zumba this morning because I want to be healthy and to be more fit. I do it at least 3x a week. I don't want to overdo it because it might cause a bad effect in my condition.
Anyway, one more day, and we will be celebrating and welcoming a new year. For sure most of us cleaned our house ( general cleaning) and paid our bills and debts before another year starts. It is our way to start anew and hope for the best in the coming year.
Firecrackers and fireworks can be seen being sold everywhere. I think this new year, most people will light up the best fireworks and firecrackers because they haven't done it last year. It is the most anticipated event of the new year, **the fireworks display**. Who doesn't want to witness the colorful light effect as if it dancing in the air?
We used to go to places before just to witness a grand fireworks display. Before the pandemic, our city government organized a fireworks display every December to celebrate the Sinadya sa Halaran Festival. It was a grand event for us because of its colorful fireworks display.
And that was before. Now that we have 4 dogs and 9 cats, we can no longer light up even a single firecracker in welcoming the new year. Or even use "torotot" because our pets gets so nervous. They are even trembling. Animals are so sensitive to loud noises. In some cases, some animals get sick or die because of too much exposure to loud noises.
As a fur parent, it is my responsibility to make sure that my babies are protected from loud noise in this coming New Year's eve. And if you are a responsible fur parent, you can do this as well.
Keep your pets INSIDE the house.
You can either put them inside a room with food and water. Don't let them roam outside to protect them not just from firecrackers but also to people who might make them "pulutan". They are heartless people out there that hurt animals for fun and for consumption. So this holiday, please keep your fur babies inside your house.
Play music enough to mask the noise.
What we did last year was we keep our stereo on and leave it until 12 midnight or until the noise subside.
But if your dogs still tremble or anxious because of the noise, you can do the Anti-Anxiety Wrap.

Just follow the steps and this will totally help your dogs to calm down. I did this to my dog Odie last year and I am going to do this to him again tomorrow night.
I tried it just now to Odie and here's what it looks like.

Please let's be a responsible pet owner and keep our pets safe this New Year's eve.
*HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM MY FUR BABIES TO YOURS!*

I Sea You
Started our day with not-so-good vibes but end it with a bang! Okay So this morning, while we were having breakfast, my daughter was also preparing the things that she needed for their outing together with her friends. While she was at it, my husband, his father was telling her this and that. To bring this, not do this, and while he was telling those to her, I can sense that he was getting annoyed. So I told him to stop and just let her daughter do it silently. That's when he got annoyed and leave. He did not even finish his food. I just let him be coz I know, once he's cooled down, he will return to his senses again.
Then after lunch, he asked me if I wanted to check our daughter. He means that we will go to where our daughter was, and I said yes of course.
The location is in Basiao Ivisan, Capiz. It was 35 minutes away from Roxas City. But we get there in 20 minutes only. Imagine how fast my husband drove his motorcycle, 90kph. I feel like my soul was separated from my body, lol!
It was a long ride but I was amused by the scenery along the way.
When we arrived, I was in total awe. I was like a young girl that saw an amazing toy. I dunno why I felt like I was a kid again. I was so happy. I immediately remove my slippers and walk barefooted while looking for my daughter and her friends. We found them in the water so we continued our walk and found a rocky part of the beach.
We found different shells and hermit crabs. It felt like it was my first time seeing them, lol! I saw them crawling in every place and I was really careful not to step on them.
They are all alive..I mean with a living species inside and not just shell alone. I wanted to bring them home but I know it is pointless because it will only die. So I let them be free in the sea.
Then as we look farther, I wished to see a starfish and guess what, I found not just 1 but two starfish or starfishes, which is which, oh the hell with it, basta I found a starfish, hahaha!
See them moving? Don't blink, lol!
This was my second time seeing an alive starfish after 10 years so just imagine how happy I was. My husband told me I looked like a kid, smiling from ear to ear while watching the starfish move.
We saw this squishy one in the other part of the rock. I saw it first then I told my husband to take it out from the water. But the moment he holds it, it squirts. I dunno what's it called though. I think this is what they called sea cucumber.
W also saw these little shells in groups scattered everywhere.
It was not just us that was fascinated by the creatures we found on that side of the beach. We saw these 2 kids roaming around and looking for shells. They got lucky because they've found a big crab attached to wood.
And of course, this adventure will not be complete without a selfie!
Some stolen shots too...
And of course, a selfie with my one and only....
After the pictorial, char, I decided to go for a swim....
I swam for almost 20 minutes and boy it was so cold, lol!
After I swam, we stayed for more minutes and enjoyed the view while my daughter and her friends were having fun on the other side. And then we saw this group of people playing patintero and tug of war. We had fun watching them.
After an hour my husband said that we should head home before the rainfall. So I went to my daughter and told them that we are heading home. And also the do's and don'ts, hehe. Then another selfie with them.
They were drinking alcoholic drinks and thought that I am going to scold them. So I told them that I don't mind because I know that they are all good and trusted kids(knew them since they were in grade 7).
I went home wet because I did not bring spare clothes. I wasn't planning to go for a swim but the moment I saw the beach, I told myself that I should definitely go for a swim, hehe...
I feel so happy today. My day did not start good but it ended awesomely. I will go back there soon...soonest.

This person makes me laugh
Do you have a person or someone who makes you laugh? The person that you seek first when you're down? I do and she's my sister.
Her name is Katy. We have 1 year age gap, so she's now 39 years old. I have 2 sisters but she's the one I am close with. She has a happy and bubbly personality. She can easily get along with other people. Maybe that is the reason why guys were so into her, char!
I remember when I was processing my father's lump sum, one of the requirements was his birth certificate and marriage certificate of my parents. My sister and I went to PSA in Pasig to get the said requirements. She brought his son Kobe because no one is going to look after him. As expected, there was a long queue. It took us 3 hours to get what we went for but there was no dull moment. She always had funny jokes that even the people beside us would laugh. And we didn't care if people were looking at us, lol! I know that I had taken photos of us at that time but couldn't find it in my phone gallery.
We never had a dull moment when we were together or even now that I am far from them, we always had time for a video call and talk about anything. She has this craziness in her that would just pop up and would make me laugh like crazy.
Unlike me, she can take any problems lightly. I mean she can handle it with care, char! Hahaha! I don't know how she did it though. She would just brush it off like it was nothing. And that's what I love about her. No matter
life throws at her, she would still manage to bounce back and smile.
I love her, she's my angel. I can always have her back when needed. She has been through a lot lately so I hope things would be different for her this 2022. I want her to have financial freedom and be debt-free.

Anhyeong chingus! This is the shortest article I have made, blame it on my rusty brain, lol! I am still thinking if I will publish this later. I was planning to attach more photos of me and her but couldn't find them in my phone gallery and Facebook.
Anyways, I know in the next coming days, most of you would be very busy preparing for the coming New Year. But take it easy, chillax. What's more important is that you will welcome the new year with good health and with your family...

Hey Gorgeous Jane, thanks for your unending support! God bless you! ❤
If I Were My Mother I’d Tell Myself…
Four days left before 2022, yehey! I wish the new year will give us abundance and covid free country. Well, let's just hope for the best of us in the coming 2022. Anyway, just came back from the outside world. I went out to pay our water bill but there was a long line of people in the waiting area so I just left and will go back tomorrow hoping that there won't be a long queue. I wanted to settle our bills before the new year starts and if possible debt-free too. Thanks to noise and read that I don't need to borrow money to sustain my medication. Thank you!
As I was writing the introduction for this article, I still don't have an idea of what to write. I mean a certain topic for this article. So I asked Uncle Google for help and this was his suggestion, 50 Title Ideas When You’re Writing Articles/Blogs . https://writedirection.com/50-article-blog-title-ideas/
Out of the 50 Ideas, I chose #24 because this is the easiest topic for me, char, hahaha! Okay, so now, let's start.
My mother left us when I was 7 years old. She said that she will be working abroad for our future. Although I am still young at that time, I know that the real reason for her to leave us was my father's infidelity and she's just using the "working abroad" as a scapegoat. My Grandma took us in and she take good care of us and we are very well-loved by her. My Aunties and Uncles also treated us well but of course, there were times that we were being bullied by them like, I have to do this and that but it's okay, I can do that as much.
When I reached 13, I started longing for my mother's care. I envied my classmates when their mother would attend school meetings. And when their mothers would bring their lunch packs to school. Every time I was asked about where my mother is I just told them that she's working abroad.
She did return home a couple of times after working abroad but after that, we lost contact and she never called us. The last thing that we knew was that she has a new man in his life.
**So, If I were my Mother I'd tell myself....**
I should have endured and fought for my family
If only my mother fight for her right and our family, we could have a happy family. And Papa might still be alive until now. Don't get me wrong here I am not blaming my mother for my father's death but things would be different if we had a complete family.
I should have focused on my kids
That's what I always told her, if she can no longer take Papa's infidelity, she can leave Papa but not us. She should have stayed and taken good care of us and demanded Papa to support us.
I shouldn't have remarried
My mother remarried a much younger man. He was 8 years younger than my mother. And the first thing that I thought was she will hurt my mother so I resented him.
--
I know that I am being selfish because of the things that I've said but you can't blame me for saying those. My sisters and I went through a lot.
But now that I have a family of my own, a partner that I could rely on, I realized that there are things in life that you cannot control. And that my mother also wants to be happy. If she stayed while my father was having an affair with different women, she will be hurt badly and would lose her self-respect. I also realized that she needed someone to love her, cherish her and always be beside her in sickness and in health.
I know things would be different for us if only they have stayed for the sake of our family but I guess it's their fate, our fate. And because of that fate, I became a strong person, met different people, learned many life lessons, and most especially met the love of my life, and was blessed with a lovely child.

How I Spent My Today
I was looking forward to this day because just like what I have mentioned in my previous article, we are going to have a picnic in baybay. So I woke up full of enthusiasm, feeling so excited because I know that it is going to be fun since my daughter is going with us.
My husband and I were talking about what will be our "baon" while having breakfast. He said na spaghetti na lang because we still have leftover pa naman. But while he was eating, sabi nya eh pancit canton na lang pala kasi naubos na nya yun spag, hehehe. So it's official, di na aabutin ng New Year yun spaghetti namin, hahaha!
So our things were ready na lunch time pa lang. We will not be bringing much food na kasi wala na ding natira eh haha! We planned on buying streets foods na lang sa baybay. There are stalls of street foods naman kasi doon. Then mga 2pm, I told my husband that I needed to buy my medication na kasi I only have 1 left na lang. So off we go, we also bought dog food for our dogs.
Before going home, we made a detour to baybay to check if it's low tide or high tide. We prefer of going there kasi na low tide.
So parang joyride na din namin ni husband and he suggested it naman so why not, hehe. When we arrived eh ang dami pa din naliligo and dyan sa people's park eh ang daming nagpipicnic, mostly couples. We didn't stay that long kasi we were there lang naman to check if it is low tide. We were on our way home, may nakita kaming commotion and there was an ambulance.
We asked someone what happened and sabi nya eh may bata daw na nalunod and he was not sure if buhay pa. I feel pity as bata, dapat kasi eh tutukan ng magulang kapag maliligo sa dagat. Ang lalaki pa naman ng alon kanina. I hope the kid is okay. After what happened medyo tinamad na ako magpunta ng baybay, but I didnt told my husband yet.
Pagdating namin sa bahay eh he took our dogs out for a walk muna kasi it's early pa naman. We planned in going back there at 4pm kasi. But I was hesitant na. Tinamad na din talaga ako. And I think the heaven heard me kasi biglang umulan, hehe.
At maganda naman yun nabili nya for the price of 50 pesos each. Mukhang bago pa eh kasi may price tag pa. Then of course napaukay na din ako.
I bought this mini dress for 30 pesos.
Then got this one for 20 pesos. After namin mamili eh dumaan kami sa ID lamination. Pinalaminate namin yung vaccination card namin 3 and then went home.
And that's how my December 26, 2021 ended. Our beach picnic was posponed because of the weather. Sa New Year na lang daw kami mag swimming. For now, idrawing ko na muna at saka ko na lang kukulayan kapag natuloy na, hahaha!

The Fastest Hands Win

Hey, hey hey! And so it is Christmas and people are now anticipating for a merriest new year to come. Most families went out on a picnic or went to the mall. Creating good memories that will be remembered through the years.
If you were to ask me, I didn't do anything today. I just eat and sleep and eat again then sleep again, hahaha! Lazy me, you say? Nah, not really. I am still not feeling good because of the vaccine, that's why. Actually, we were planning to have a picnic in baybay today but decided to postpone it and have it tomorrow instead. Baybay will be flooded will people from different places for their gatherings or reunions. And also, I have been waiting for the last clue of @Jane' s BCH treasure hunting!
So from day 1 that Jane started her BCH treasure hunting, I have been putting my mind on it, I really focused for the clues everyday. Hey, you can't blame me, for the prize is $20 or 1 thousand pesosesoses lol!
Everyday, she will drop a clue in noise.cash and on her article on read.cash. So everyday, I make sure that I got the clue and I was doing okay. Got almost the clues right except for the 5th clue because I got confused but later on corrected it. The first person who will have the fastest hand to input the 12 seed phrase on the bitcoin.com wallet will get the prize.
Let me show you how focused I am in this bch treasure hunt.
See that? Hahaha!
And so the last day of the BCH treasure hunt came. I am so excited for the big event, char! But seriously, I have been looking forward to this day and hoping to win. My husband was also cheering for me and said that I can make it if I will just put my mind into it.
4:30 pm came, I opened my laptop and my phone as well. Checking my noise.cash account and reading articles on read.cash while waiting for the clock to strike 5.
I was so nervous. I can even hear my heatbeat, haha! And boy I was perspiring and nail biting, lol! My daughter asked me why I look so nervous so I told her about it.
And when the clock strike 5, read.cash notified me with Jane's article but couldn't find her post with the clue in noise.cash! Like I was getting more nervous because the competition is on, hahaha! Other user like @infinity and Giddyboy are all good and had a fast hand, lol!
So the moment I got the clue and input it on bitcoin.com wallet, no funds already and when I checked our tg group, it was @Giddyboy who had the fastest hand and got the prize.
Honestly I was a bit disappointed of myself. But that's part of the game, it wasn't meant for me. I should try harder next time.
But I am very much thankful to the host of the event because she gave us a $3 consolation prize, yehey!
That's me, DamelindZ, hehe.
Thank you so much @Jane1289 (dunno why your name can't be mentioned) not just for the prize but also for the excitement and fun you've brought because of this event. It had me use my rusty brain again, lol!
So, better luck next time to me. Looking forward for more BCH Treasure Hunt!

Merry Christmas everyone! ❤❤❤
Few Hours before Christmas
Tick tack tick tack... The clock is ticking... A few hours left before Christmas. Everyone is busy preparing for Noche Buena. Kids are excited to open their gifts. While the godmother and godfather are thinking of ways how to avoid their godchildren, char! HAHAHAHA! But yeah, it happens especially when your Ninong and Ninong are jobless. So to the godchildren, kayo na mag adjust, lol!
That is why there are many memes you can find on social media about finding Ninong and this is one of them. I like this one because it has the vibe of the movie "The Godfather."**(Photo from Facebook)**
Anyway, what have you done so far? Are you done with your dish for tonight? If you were to ask me, I haven't done anything yet. I am not feeling well because of the vaccine. I woke up this morning with joint pains and am a little feverish. I took paracetamol after breakfast. Then around 9 am, I and my husband went to the market for a little shopping, charot! hehe. I just bought the ingredients for my spaghetti and Menudo. No need to buy the pork meat because our neighbor slaughtered a pig and make pautang to us, one year to pay, hahaha!
When we were in the market kanina, naloka ako ng slight kasi para akong nakikipagdigmaan eh. Like the people were no longer doing the social distancing and most of them were not wearing facemasks. Just hope that after this holiday, eh di tumaas ang kaso ng covid dito sa atin.
`Distraction; Checking may pinakulong tubig if nagboil na kasi need ko ilagay young pasta. Cooking Spaghetti kasi while writing..`
So, okay, as of now eh di pa kumulo ang water. Then husband told me na just leave it to him na lang daw. He can do that at least. He's doing the dishes now...
Mas mahirap daw kasi kapag may sakit ako eh, magastos, hahaha!
`Distraction again: My daughter is taking her exams now. Nagtatanong sya sa akin sa if ano daw pagkakaintindi ko something like that. So with all my best eh tinuruan ko naman sya. Sana tama naman yun, hahaha!`
See the seriousness on her face? But she's my unicahija so I love her dearly...
By the way, bukod sa Menudo and spaghetti eh I made buko salad na din. Kasi one of my husband's kumoare gave him pang buko salad so bumili na lang ako ng buko kanina sa market. ANd my gosh, ang mahal ha, per kilo ang bentahan ng buko, 200 pesos ang per kilo. Samantalang nun di pa pasko eh 20 pesos ang isa. Pero ganun talaga, business eh.
So Rest in Peace muna diet, hahaha!
So that's it guys! I'll end it here na. I will be busy preparing na for tonight. I hope each and everyone of us will have a memorable Christmas and a happy New Year!
***MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS!***

A Little Pain For A Lot Of Gain
Good day my dear readers! Today is a special day for me because I got vaccinated! Yey! But did you know that I am so against the vaccine before? Okay, so let me tell you why.
The first Covid19 vaccine was developed only a year after the Covid19 outbreak. I am not a scientist or a doctor but how did they able to develop a vaccine in just a short period? And then there is much news circulating on social media about people who died after they got vaccinated. So the whole family was so against it. We swore that we will never have or never will get vaccinated.
But it all changed when I got infected with the virus. It was October 14, 2021, when I was diagnosed with Covid19. It hits its toll on me because, at that time, I was under medication for a different disease. So my body was so weak. I can't even eat and drink properly and I had to have oxygen for me to be able to breathe properly. My family also suffered and not just me. I saw how they were so affected by my condition.
So when I was cured, I told my husband that I want to be vaccinated. I don't want to suffer again, to go through what I've been through again. My husband was okay about it but as long as it is not Sinovac because that is the vaccine that has been full of controversy.
So my daughter got vaccinated first. Her school required every student to be fully vaccinated in preparation for the face-to-face classes next year. Then when there's a vaccination here in our brgy, I convinced my husband to get vaccinated. And today is his 2nd dose.
My friend sent me a message last night, asking if I already had clearance from my doctor for the vaccine and I told her yes. She said if I wanted to be vaccinated, she will put my name on the list and the vaccine is Janssen. But this morning, I hesitated because some said that the Janssen vaccine has strong side effects because it is a 1 dose vaccine only. But then my friend told me that there are other vaccines available and not just the Janssen vaccine. So after we had lunch, I took a bath and went with my husband because it was his 2nd dose today.
The Brgy. Hall is just a 5 minutes walk from our house so I just wore sleeveless and shorts, hehe. We arrived at the venue and only a few people were there. The first step was pre-registration, then next was the blood pressure monitoring. My blood pressure was normal, thank God. I thought I had high blood pressure because I was so nervous at that time.
The next step was the screening. The doctor asked me about any allergies and maintenance. I told her that I have a disease called Myasthenia gravis and may maintenance is "Mestinon". I also informed her that I was once a Covid patient 2 months ago. Then I asked her if it is okay for me to have the Janssen vaccine because I have heard that it has strong side effects and my body might not bear it. Then she explained to me that each person has a different reaction to the vaccine. so I shouldn't be afraid and just make sure that I eat healthy food so that my body can bear the side effects.
And the next step was the vaccine itself. I was so nervous. My husband was in the other aisle but already done with his 2nd dose so I told him to sit beside me. Then he took my phone and told me that he will take a picture of me while being vaccinated so that I can use it in my article, hehe. Very supportive eh.
When it was my turn, my heart beat was so fast and I was so nervous. The lady told me to relax and said "parang kagat lang ng langgam". But believe me it was not just a "kagat ng langgam".
After that she told me to take a rest first and someone took my blood pressure again. Then a few minutes later, we went home.
I am glad that my family and I are now fully vaccinated. But **being vaccinated doesn't mean that we are already immune to the Covid19 virus. It will only lessen the symptoms if ever we will get infected with it. So we should still follow the health protocols and be mindful every time we go outside.**

Christmas Memories
`Lead Image from Unsplash`
Three more days before Christmas and everyone is going gaga on Christmas shopping and making a list of what dish to prepare for "Noche Buena." If you were to ask me, I don't prepare that much for Christmas. I think it is not practical because there are only three of us and we never had visitors on Christmas eve. It's not because I didn't invite anyone but it's because we are not close to my husband's relatives. There's an issue between us and them. Some sort of "agawan sa lupa' hahaha! They can't accept the fact that we are the ones who get to stay in their ancestral house. So that's why we feel like an outcast here.
Anyways, moving on with the topic, I and my daughter had a conversation a while ago about what am I going to prepare for Christmas.
*Her: Ma, ano handa natin sa pasko?*
Her: So, walang spaghetti?*
*Me: Meron, spaghetti lang saka isang ulam.
So, I might cook Pansit as well and not just spaghetti. But it all depends on our budget pa din. To be honest, we are relying on how much will I get or earn in both noise and read. So I need to work my ass off for us to have a decent meal on Christmas, hehe.
Ever since we settle down here in Capiz, I miss the family gatherings we used to have when we were still living in Manila where all my relatives live. Each family has their menu or dish and we will gather in one of the houses of our Aunt and spend Christmas eve full of laughter. We had videoke, games, and of course, drinking alcohol.
This is one of the reunions we had. Can you guess where I am? This was taken 10 years ago, I think. I can't really remember. This was in my Papa's home. We decided to spend Christmas there because that's what he wanted. He was in Saudi Arabia at that time, working.
Oh my, I suddenly miss my father. This will be the third Christmas that he was no longer with us. But it's okay, I know that he's in good hands now. Reaping the good deeds that he sow when he was alive.
My mother also called this morning asking what we'll be having this Christmas. I told her that nothing because I have no money, hahaha. She just laughed. I don't look like I don't have money daw. Gosh, do I look rich? Hahaha! I guess she just misses me because at the end of our conversation, she said that she wish that we could spend Christmas and New Year with her again. The last time we spend holidays in her house was 2018. We spend New Year with her.
Now that Christmas is just a few days away, I can't help myself not to feel lonely because honestly, iba yung saya kapag madami kayo nagcecelebrate. Do you agree with me? But of course, I am happy because with all that's happening today, the pandemic and all, we are all well, alive and kicking.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Good morning! Noticed that I can now access read in my previous browser.
Me, Myself, and My Flaws
*Nobody's perfect.*
*The beauty is in the eye of the beholder.*
Does it ring a bell? Well, these are the words I often told myself everytime people would mock me because I am not pretty. I grew up full of insecurities.
I have 2 more siblings. I am the eldest and among us three, I would say that I am the ugly one. That's how other people made me feel of my self, that I am ugly. Unlike my sisters, I have dark complexion. And it is one of my flaws.
**Dark Complexion**
I was often called "negra" and "aeta" because of the color of my skin. My classmates and even my playmates would make fun of me because of having a dark skin. There was an instance that one of my classmate in elementary told me that I don't belong in the city and I should have stayed in the mountains where people like me lives. I cried while most of my classmates were laughing. I was bullied, laughed at, because of my color. Even inside our house, my relatives would teased me that I am just adopted.
**Flat Nose**
From the time I was little, I knew that my nose is not beautiful. I have a flat nose. A typical Asian nose.
I remember one time, my mother went to her friend's house and she tagged me along. Her friend told me, *"You know what Ne, you're actually not a bad looking girl, but you have a flat nose. Why don't you start pinching the bridge and tip of your nose, it might change because you're still young. "*
I was only 8 at that time but I feel so offended. But yes, I followed what she told me. I started pinching my nose and even use clothespin and clip my nose with it. Because of that, my nose turns bloody red and swell. Then my mother asked me what did I do, so I told her that I pinched my nose using clothespin. She hugged me and told me to stop doing it. That I am pretty even if I have a flat nose. And then I cried.
**"Pandak" or Midget and Fat**
My height is 5" while my sisters were 5"3 and 5"6 and they're both skinny and faired skin. I don't know where I got my features but one thing is for sure, I am not blessed with good features.
That is the reason why I am so obssesed with high heels before. Because it somehow added to my height and I look slimmer when I wear those. I can wear a 7 inches high heels, may it be a slipper, rubber shoes or stilletos.
But one incident made me stop wearing it. I went to a mall with friends. And when it's time for us to go home I tripped off in the stairs because of my high heeled shoes. And how humiliating was that. After that incident, I never dared wearing high heeled shoes again.
I was in my twenties when I started to become more accepting of how I looked. I became more confident and didn't care what others have to say about me. They have nothing to do with my life anyway so why would I care.
If I may have to borrow Cristina Aguillera's song,
*I am beautiful*
*No matter what they say*
*Words can't bring me down.*
*I am beautiful*
*In every single way*
*No words can't bring me down.*
We are all beautiful, regardless of the color of our skin, the shape of our nose, height weight, bust size. We have to embrace our flaws and learn to love ourself. And thats all that matters.
