In December, active Binance users received 100 Trust Wallet Token (TWT) airdrop. Users that completed any trade on spot, margin or futures between the 12th of December and 21st of December, and they had until the 5th of January 2021 to withdraw the TWT tokens to a Trust Wallet address via the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network to activate the reward. If not transferred, the TWT airdrop will be removed. Instead of sending it to Trust Wallet, I sent them straight on PancakeSwap, losing 0.5 TWT as transaction fee.
I than staked them into a special pool, added to mark the airdrop, which was available for a week. The 339% APY was purely amazing, as it lasted. I farmed 8 CAKE tokens in that week, adding $4 to the airdrop value.
The CAKE pool ended in a week, and I wasn't sure what to do with the TWT, either farm CAKE or provide liquidity. I already consider 99.5 TWT a good amount, so I opted for the CAKE farming.
The LP must be created, therefore PancakeSwap must have permission to spend Trust Wallet Tokens. This transaction fee was $0.72 BNB, the usual 99% cheaper fee than on the Ethereum chain. Once approved, the LP must be confirmed and that's it!
I created 5.7 BNB/TWT Pool Tokens, using 0.35 Binance Coin (BNB) and the 99.5 TWT. My tokens are 0.001452% of the pool and now they started to earn BNB and TWT from fees. To earn CAKE, the BNB/TWT tokens must be moved into the CAKE Farm.
The tokens can be deposited by a single click, and the transaction is minimal.
Now they are earning CAKE, and my TWT is working hard to make some residual income. This CAKE farm generates 0.7 CAKE per day which is a nice revenue. This was done with an APY above 100%. At the moment the APY is down at 90%.
Meanwhile, PancakeSwap implemented the new website layout. It has Light Mode and Dark Mode.
All functions are listed in the left side, making it easy to select them. The home tab will show the lottery and the total CAKE tokens available from all farms and staking. The trade tab, farms and pools can be accessed with a click.
