Greetings Splinterlands Battle Mages! Let's enjoy the Healed Out ruleset, where all healing abilities are removed. This will also affect the summoners, therefore no Heal, Tank Heal or Triage will work in the battle.

It's time for a true test of skill that will challenge even the most seasoned players, as strategic prowess is required to win epic matches! Join PVM on this journey into a world of intriguing and dynamic strategies.

This trilogy will take you through different moods, from joy to drama. Part one will introduce a gentle Katie, while the second part will empower hulking behemoths for even bigger destruction power. Chimney Wallstop will go beast mode!

The epic conclusion wraps around Bloodlust, armor repair and scavanging the power of the fallen! Captain Katie with a nomination for the deadliest unit! It fells like the story of the beauty and the Beast!

Are you up for the challenge? Let's delve into the details! The Healed Out battle rule will make pointless the use of units will healing powers, therefore cheaper ones with the same stats will be more efficient! The healing units are still available, but their abilities are removed.

This world can't be healed... but can be purged! The Chaos Empire corruption must be burned, and the healers must shift from rejuvenating allies to burning the evil.

Part I: Healed out and armored up! The story starts simple, with no healing skills and extra armor! I decided to keep it simple, as the mana cap was not that generous for heavy hitters!

Franz Ruffmane: +1 Armor & +1 Gladiator cards

Shieldbearer: Melee tank with Taunt

Adelade Brightwing: Caster with Flying and Repair

Captain Katie: Caster with Snipe and Bloodlust

The game plan was as simple as IKEA furniture... survive and win! The Shieldbearer will hold the line, thanks to the Taunt ability, and Adelade will keep him alive until Katie clears the battlefield!

I started to doubt my plan when I've seen that the enemies were boosted with Divine Shield, and they outmatched my units by numbers.

As expected, the Shieldbearer's armor got destroyed quickly. Adelade repair worked well, and hopefully will buy extra time for Katie. It didn't!

The Shieldbearer demise took place in the second round, and Adelade had to repair her own armor. She also managed to eliminate the Celestial Harpy, while Captain Katie took care of the Time Mage. The speed of my units returned to normal values, while Katie's brutality was enhanced through bloodlust.

The sneaky enemies were targeting Katie, and my dynamic duo was too busy to take out the divine shields. Katie's armor got repaired, and she was ready for another round.

The Silvershield Assassin was no match for my gals' and what was yet to come. Who rules the world? Girls do! Adelade with the repair and Katie with the deadly blows, as the remaining beasts fell one by one! See the full battle here!

Part II: Hammers can't heal... hammers can kill! This battle was screaming " big warriors and big weapons"! With 45 mana cap and two battlerules that encouraged gladiator carnage... I had to go for it!

Healed Out will amplify the use of an extra gladiator card, as all healing abilities are removed! Sharpen your blades and get ready for big hits!

Helios Matriarch: +1 Speed and +1 Gladiator card

Gorth: Melee with Bloodlust

Chimney Wallstop: Melee with Reach and Bloodlust

Ant Miners: Melee with Scavenger

Serpentine Spy: Melee with Opportunity

Djinn Inferni: Caster with Giant Killer

Sand Worm: Melee with Sneak

I had five out of six monsters that were able to hit the enemies from round one, and the Ant Miners that will have a role in the endgame!

The opponent choose a team with a focus on magic, and pointlessly added the Goblin Psychic into the battle. There were plenty of other unit to spend six mana, as the healing ability will be removed.

All the heavy hitters targeted the Mycelic Slipspawn, due to the Taunt ability, while Gorth and Chimney Wallstop had a duel with the Unicorn Mustang

Stop! Hammer time! Go with the flow! Gorth is the largest gladiator in the Moxian arena, and his massive hammer does the "talking"!

According to the Splinterlands lore, the mighty Chimney likes to smoke pipeweed like a ... chimney! The fire inside him is his thirst for adventure, and in recent years it has been smoldering rather than raging.

Hammer Time again ... as his weapon is a large hammer handcrafted by his mentor, the kobold blacksmith Hugo Steppor. On one end is a blunt head for smashing, and on the other is a golden spearhead for goring.

Bloodlust! The Mycelic Slipspawn was the first to fall, then the Unicorn Mustang was taken down by Chimney! Bloodlust and boosted stats for the guy! He had to quickly replace Gorth as a tank, and handled the situation with style!

The time to flex muscles has come, and Chimney Wallstop had big muscles! He took on another beast, and added another victim to his list.

The Goblin Psychic couldn't handle the heat! Djinn Inferni one-shooted the green guy with a big fireball, and made it clear who's the top caster!

Chimney Wallstop can't stop swinging that big hammer! He ended the battle with 8 melee damage and five speed! Was game over before the third round concluded, as the Sand Worm had the last bite!

Let's talk about the Ant Miners, as this monster had an important role in the battle dynamics. It had to grow bigger and be able to tank if needed, protecting the heavy hitters with lower health. Even if it wasn't planned like that... it protected the others from the Blast damage dealt by the Goblin Tower!

The Gladiator cards made the difference or the way I set-up the team? Hard question and maybe it's a 50%/50% merit. Gorth didn't do great but Chimney stood up and was the MVP of the battle!

Part III: Scavanging the power of the fallen!

Obsidian choose the wrong path, and Franz is not the type of leader that believes in redemption. The betrayers must be punished and the evil must be eliminated!

The Healed Out battle rule removed all healing abilities from both monsters and summoners, leading to quick fight! Franz Ruffmane armor buff was pointless against magic, but compensated with the use of a Gladiator card.

Franz Ruffmane: +1 Armor and +1 Gladiator Card

Shieldbearer: Tank with Taunt

Vulguine: Melee with Scavenger

Armorsmith: Support with Repair

Captain Katie: Caster with Snipe and Bloodlust

Creeping Ooze: Support with Slow

My army was hiding behind the Shieldbearer, with Vulguine ready to tank once the main man will fall. Fighting against a team of casters was hard enough, and Obsidian's boost made it even worst.

Captain Katie had to step up to the expectations, and become the hero the rebellion needed. She had to shoot twice to take down the Regal Peryton, but at least she didn't miss those attacks. The Shieldbearer couldn't handle the succession of spells and served as collateral damage, while his army took down a Failed Summoner.

New tanks for both teams, with Vulguine facing the Unicorn Mustang. Every war has it's heroes, and the bards will sung songs that will fuel the rebellion. This war was Katie's chance to shine, as she sniped down the Venari Spellsmith. Captain Katie boosted her stats with another bloodlust, while the feral Vulguine was biting hard!

Heroes are not born... heroes are made! The Armorsmith turned into a savior, as his repair kept Vulguine alive until the end of the battle. Katie took care of the remaining caster, and the fight simplified once the Khmer Princess found her demise.

Katie was on steroids, but she couldn't land the fatal blow. The Unicorn Mustang void armor helped the mighty beast to survive the spell, but Vulguine was on the prowl! One more bite and the unicorn was defeated. The blood-thirsty creature made the difference, as the armor repair and Scavenger kept rabid V alive! See the full battle here!
