The Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Are Oozing With Ferocity
Greetings Splinterlands Mages! It's time to try new dynamic strategies, fueled by rage and sparks of rebellion. The new approach will focus on dynamic strategies, as players will be able to choose from a greater selection of units to bring. Let's enjoy the Ferocity ruleset, where all units gain the Fury ability at the start of the battle.
This battle-rule makes it simple... don't use units with Taunt! Or use them! It's your choice! However, every card will deal double damage to any tank that has the Taunt ability, making it safer to avoid them. May the gods of random be ever in my favor!
There is one rule... there are no rules! It's recommended not to use units with Taunt, but you can if you want! If it's Ferocity what you want.... will be Ferocity what I will share!
I am constantly hit with ferocity every single conflict! No rewards were obtained so far, and that includes the pre-sale event! I am sad and ready to put this fury into the next battle! Are you ready?
Water makes ways and destroys ways, depending on the purpose. Water is wild, as tsunamis and tidal waves can crush the strongest boats! I chosen Kelya Frendul to be my avatar of water, and had to adapt to the medium mana pool and the Ferocity battle-rule. NO TANKS BRO!
The team was built around the Costal Sentry, an overpowered melee card with the Double Strike ability. It is known that the coast of Praetoria is full of beauty and danger, and nothing proves the statement better than the Coastal Sentry. Then add Ferocity to the above!
The coastal sentries will avoid strangers unless they pose a threat, choosing to slip away quietly before they are seen. Their role is to guard their people and the sea life around them, often swimming out for weeks on end, tracking a route around their territory.
It may look like an expensive card but it's all worth it! You pay ten mana but you get an aquatic punisher! Starts with 6 health points and one armor, and two hits per round at 3 damage each. It will gain Piercing when upgraded to level six, and Knock Out at maximal level.
There's no hidden treasures, just my gold foil Costal Sentry that's ready to board your ship and make you walk the plank! Ahoy! She will have upgraded armor and speed, due to the level, and enhance those stats even more after Kelya's boost!
Kelya Frendul: +1 Armor & +1 Speed
Costal Sentry: Melee with Double Strike
Uraeus: Melee with Sneak
Crustacean King: Support with Tank Heal
Pelacor Bandit: Melee with Sneak and Flying
My tactic was simple ... crush my opponents under a tidal wave of ferocity. It will be the Coastal Sentry who will chaos and mayhem! The Crustacean King will come to her aid, while the sneaky units will hit behind the enemy front line.
I was facing another Water splinter team, with a similar approach. Djinn Oshannus was tanking, and Sneak monsters were used to hit behind my tank. This aquatic clash would be settled quickly... and the tides of the battle will be turn by the most ferocious beast sailing the seven seas.
Wave by wave, we destroyed armor and flexed muscles! Who will sink the enemy's boat first? What can make the difference? I used the Pelacor Bandit as the last unit to maximize his Flying ability, and it was a successful tactic. One attack was already missed on my unit, gaining a small advantage!
The Way Of Water.... Oshanus will hit my Costal Sentry with 2 magical damage, while my Sentry will hit back with 6 melee damage. Water will find a way!
With the Djinn armor already destroyed, my card has an advantage! No casters in my team either so that Void ability brought no tactical benefit.
Fly above the water to avoid the sharks! The Hardy Stonefish was the first one down, as my sneaky monster where quicker and more efficient. The Pelacor Bandit evaded another attack, and kept hitting with surgical precision. I was slowly building an advantage!
Fly above the water to avoid the monsters of the deep! The tides of the battle turned in my favor as the Pelacor Bandit dodged another attack and stayed alive for another round. Three rounds gone and three attacks where missed on this flying thug!
The Merdaali Guardian will be next on the causalities and carnage will start. Djinn Oshannus will follow, as the Costal Sentry will deliver two deadly blows! Cruising towards victory!
All the above events happened, and the mayhem started. Victory is near! The Pelacor Bandit will go to Valhalla for his bravery, and bards will sung his songs at the victory feast!
The Costal Sentry was by far the most efficient unit, with accurate hits that made one victim after another. This beauty finished the battle with full health, claiming the MVP title! See the full battle here!
