The Cronos ID layer was build atop the Cronos blockchain, with a vision that will empower social engagement in Web3. The focus behind Cronos ID is to create synergy in the Web3 community, by sharing and receiving communication, information and cryptocurrency in a safe and verifiable manner. Crypto.com plans to develop Cronos ID in order to prioritize synergies and product integrations that will simplify the Web3 experience.
The Cronos ID is a project incubated by Cronos Labs, the ecosystem accelerator of the Cronos blockchain. Cronos was the first EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain network built on the Cosmos SDK, supported by Crypto.com. The Cronos chain is built for greatness, with a base of 50+ million users globally.

The Cronos ID ecosystem has his own identity and communications layer built on top of the Cronos blockchain. It is powered by three key subprotocols, which will be rolled out in separate stages.
The first subprotocol will be Cronos ID Domain Service, enabling users to associate a human-readable .cro domain to their complex and unintuitive EVM wallet address. The Cronos ID Domains will be the focal point of accessing the multi-chain ecosystem, allowing users to send and receive cryptocurrency to and from their domain, create subdomains for community to use, to link social media accounts, and to host IPFS websites and NFT showrooms.
The second subprotocol is the Cronos Notification Service, which will activate on-chain and off-chain notification. The users will receive notifications of events automatically, without the need of additional dApps.
The current set-up of many dApps are sending notifications with a certain delay, and none of them can contact the users proactively. The evolution of Web3 must replace the periodical and manual pulling of information with automated notifications.
The Cronos Notification Services will work in real time, enabling dApps to send notifications such as warnings regarding risk of liquidation events impacting the user’s assets, bids on any NFT from the user's portfolio, upcoming governance votes and upcoming expiry of registered domain
The third subprotocol to be launched is the Cronos Messaging Service, which will introduce sociable tools for the CronosID users. The subprotocol will enable messaging via wallet addresses or domain names, ensuring verified and genuine conversations between all users.
Cronos ID will be the one domain to do it all! The long wallet addresses will be a thing of the past, and this is why I wanted to check a pvmihalache domain.
