The Club1BCH UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football - The Group Stage Miracles
The Champions League group stage concluded, with some big upsets. I am still thinking about the mess at Wanda Metropolitano, when players where called back after the final whistle for a VAR penalty ... which was missed! MADNESS!
Then we had the scenario at Porto v Leverkusen, when Porto scored but VAR got involved, voided the goal and awarded a penalty that no one asked for to the Germans. Fate and justice as Patrick Shick missed the chance, and it looks like it's easier to score from half-way then from 11 yards.
Some teams played with reserves, other played for the chance to qualify until the last second of the game. Tottenham, Frankfurt, Marseille and Sporting offered a roller-coaster of emotion, as all teams were in the play-off at some point in their game.
Rangers managed to become the worst ever team that played in the Champions League, while Barcelona will play in Europa League for the first time.
We have only one group in the Fantasy League, and everyone qualified for the next round. Not the same happened IRL, where the outcomes were unexpected.
Liverpool ended second even with their win against Napoli. Spurs won a group even if at one point they were out of Europe, and Benfica sent PSG on the second place with a goal in the last seconds of their clash against Maccabi Haifa.
FreeAgentz is bossing the Fantasy League with 478 points, and Konttyrat FC waits for a mistake. There are 42 gape for @HappyBoy to recover and an rift from @Crypto_Politics 4th spot.
I feel very confident in my football skills, and that I will finish higher then 5th in the league. @Carabageac94 and King Joseph are chasing me, while the last three managers still have a chance to avoid the "wooden spoon".
I was close enough to be the manager of the round, but I went for Bellingham as a captain. The 59 points for this round could have been 72 if I have chosen Mbappe, or if Dortmund or Napoli didn't played that bad. It's game on for the play-offs!
The prize pool is now 0.534 BCH, and will be shared between the top 4 managers. The winner will receive 45% of the pot, the runner-up will receive 25%, with 15% for the third place and 5% for the manager that will finish the season on the 4th place.
The remaining 10% will be sent to a The Giving Block charity, and will let the top managers choose which charity organization will benefit from the Club's donation.
The crypto charity donations were simplified by The Giving Block , the best place to use crypto for charity. They innovated the space since 2018, and implemented new fundraising methods in the crypto landscape.
The last Club1BCH campaign raised over $3000 for Save the Children! Huge bags of $SHIB were raised, Ethereum and 6.658 $BCH ($2,250 on the day) were raised and sent to The Giving Block!
