Started using Plutus in 2022, when I embraced a new approach towards my day-to-day shopping. Why? Because I started earning 3% cashback in $PLU on absolutely every purchase and I tapped into some amazing perks! I started earning $PLU for actions that weren't rewarded until then, such as buying a coffee or doing my weekly shopping.

Plutus offers a non-custodial card, available in the EEA, and the possibility to link personal crypto wallets like Metamask to your Plutus card. The process is completed without revealing your private keys, offering an extra layer of security. This innovative card gives control over the assets and facilitates the swap of crypto into spendable balance.

Some changes in subscriptions and reward levels were implemented on the 22nd of January, with a vision for a fair-value subscription plan. The changes will lower requirements and increase participation in Reward Levels, while regulating emissions and improving the distribution of rewards.

Plutus introduced its first subscription plan back in 2019 when our user base was significantly smaller. Over the years, we’ve grown to over 100k customers and distributed rewards valued at over $10,000,000 during this period.

Before we dive into the new plans, I must admit I wasn't impressed initially. However, while reading and understanding the long-term benefits... I fully embraced the changes. All this was created with a vision that will make $PLU stronger and create a better rewards system.

I was on the free plan, with one perk, and earned 90 $PLU since November 2022. You may say that it's not a big deal, but the amount was earned doing the same things I've done for years... for free. No one gives you £350 for free in this modern society!

The team of crypto veterans built the Plutus App to ensure the safety of the customers, without any 3rd party interaction. One of the best things I found while doing the research is that Plutus is compliant across with the financial regulations in multiple regions, ensuring the longevity in today's ever-changing market.

I used the Plutus when booking holidays, paying for flights and even when I bought a bottle of 12-years old Macallan! Buy whisky, get crypto... this is the way! This must continue, and this is why I embraced the new subscription plans.

The starter plan is no longer free but all customer with a starter starter plan when the new system was implemented received one free month of it before being downgraded onto the new Standard plan. The users in the Standard plan will not receive any rewards and will be unable to withdraw PLU.

The new plans are tailored to bring a level of rewards that will cover the subscription fee plus earnings on top of that. Here is the new system for subscriptions:

Starter Plan: £6.99 per month, generating £17.50 in PLU when calculated at 3% rewards. New customers receive a complimentary free Starter plan for the first three months., and afterwards can subscribe to a paid plan or be downgraded to the Standard plan.

Everyday Plan: £14.99 per month, generating £€35 in PLU per month when calculated at 3% rewards. All customers can enjoy the discounted £9.99 pricing for the first 6 months, after which Plutus will assess the continuation of this discount.

Premium Plan: £24.99/month, generating £60 in PLU per month when calculated at 3% rewards. All customers can enjoy the discounted £19.99 pricing for the first 6 months, after which Plutus will assess the continuation of this discount.

There were changes in the reward levels, boosting perks rather than replacing them. The changes ensured that customers can enjoy a noticeable increase in benefits, with even more perks and rewards as they level up. This is why Plutus introducing two new Reward Levels ... Myth and Honey Badger!

Customers can unlock Myth Reward Level by stacking 1,500 PLU. Honey Badger will be obtained by users who staked 3,000 PLU, and comes with 9% caashback rewards and nine perks. These updates combined with our new subscription plans help provide a fairer distribution of rewards while continuing to provide higher value to our customers.

Our upcoming redemption features will play a significant role in creating a self-sufficient Rewards Pool, further enhancing the longevity of Plutus Rewards. The new system includes incremental rewards for those who redeem their earnings, enabling customers to access their preferred reward level at a fraction of the stacking requirements and enjoy all benefits for a limited period.

I wanted to be one step ahead of the changes and activated my Everyday plan before the 22nd of January. Received two perks for the £4.99 I paid, and the reward covered the fee several times.
