My Splinterlands Remarkable Moments - Gold Tier, Broken Arrows, Silenced Summoners And Conflicts
Why is Splinterlands special? Blockchain technology helps players to own their cards as non-fungible tokens. The battle mages will use their deck to battle others and earn rewards. The game keep raising the standards when it comes to blockchain gaming.
Take a sit and listen ... as Splinterlands folklore and long forgoten stories will be shared tonight. I will bring marshmellows and my dragon will make enough fire to roast them all!
This is another remarkable story of how I climbed through the ranks, survived the Chaos Legion invasion and how now I am leading the rebellion. Chose a side and prepare to battle!
Every climb is difficult, and this is why some will stop half-way or "die" trying. I fought countless battles, lost hundreds of duels, grinded and worked hard but I made it! Three years later I am constantly reaching Gold Tier, and feeling that my fighting skills reached a high standard.
I opened 100 Chaos Legion packs and now I I set new targets for 2024! I now want to open at least 25 Rebellion packs, and reach at least 5 War Wagons during the newly Conflicts phase! Time to flex my muscles and learn some new spells!
A side hustle is to reach Gold Tier at the end of each season... and I am on track for this goal. I've done it again... and again! One time I went above and beyond the last achievement, and marginally reached Gold II! Late drama as well, with a fine win obtained with less than two hours to go!
This start of the year was trully remarkable... as for the first time in three years... I moved into the second round of a tournament! Wasn't great after this ... but at least I qualified!
Managed to go into the next round with three wins, but there I was fighting the OG battle mages and lost all! However, finishing 98th was remarkable!
Conflicts and remarkabe War Wagons! The first one ended, and a new one started... but did I get any cards? Try to guess until I drop the spoilers!
The rebels have begun disrupting the Chaos Empire’s supply lines around Icewall Bay. They’ve employed the wagons and elemental manifestations of battle mages in the Northern Highlands and Northeast Machair to oppose the legions. But Rage’s dragons of Mount Redwyrm control the skies. Given the chance, they’ll burn this uprising to ashes.
Here's some key points of Conflicts dynamics! The "contribution" will determine how many chances you have to be awarded copies of the airdrop card, calculated when the Conflict is over. The new system rewards those that own the cards, not those that bought the most!
There were 4,000 copies of Rage allocated for the first Conflict, and I dreamed to get one! The new system may push the total number of copies beyond 4,000 as there were additional cards to be given to every 200 Reward Chances earned by players.
Rage has been the patriarch of his flight of red dragons for millennia, and the leader of the Redwyrm Dragons long before the Splintering and long before even the Tai Kalayne!
Over the centuries he has grown his brood and amassed a hoard of treasure to rival that of the wealthiest of kingdoms a hundred times over... and all I wanted was one card! I accumulated 14 changes ... but that wasn't enough! THE ONLY RAGE I'VE GOT WAS FOR ... NOT GETTING RAGE!
New conflict and hopefully better luck this time. I forced my wallet and managed to fill four War Wagons for the "Uprising In Solace". The hourly rate was pumped higer than last time, and 2,100 may generate more chances.
The interdiction of the Chaos Empire’s supply lines around Icewall Bay has weakened the empire’s grip on the Northern Highlands. Now, the citizens of Solace rise against their oppressors. Governess Akane has rallied her people, yet the Gloridax are outmatched. Matsuuri Kei, ranking knight of Solace’s Dragonsguard, needs your help.
I want to help Kei, and hopefuly Kei will land in my deck when this conflict will end. I know it's all about chances and random ... but why always me?
Let's dive more into golden tiers, no rewards from conflicts, broken arrows and silenced summers.
No Rage to use in battles, and the job gets harder in the Golden league! I had to do my best to adapt to this battle, where the summoners couldn't boost and the ranged units couldn't be used. Looks like the game is taking away everything this week!
How to turn the negative battle into something remarkable? Go for raw power and hard hits! Kelya is always remarkable in battles, and the Coastal Sentry will match any challenge! Melee damage amplified by the Demented Shark and lot's of sea monsters to extinguish the fire that Tarsa started!
Kelya Frendul: Silenced!
Coastal Sentry: Melee with Double-Strike
Flying Squid: Melee with Reach
Demented Shark: Melee with Inspire
Deeplurker: Melee with Opportunity
Nerissa Tridown: Caster
Facing Tarsa is always a challenge, but not when she's silenced! Lots of melee units that will hit behind my tank, and a clear focus on dealing with the weeker ones first.
My tactic was similar, but my focus was to destroy everyone! The Serpentine Spy was the first to fall, then the Living Lava followed shortly. The shield was pointless against the frenzy of boosted melee attacks.
The Radiated Beast was overwhealmed by the fury of my army, and missed it's change to deal damage to the Sentry. I will not show mercy!
The Venari dispel reduced the attack of the Coastal Sentry to the standard number, but that double-strike remained deadly. The Radiated Brute demise was quick, and the bullseye moved on the Tenyii Striker.
He turned into Deeplurker food, and then Nerissa played catch with the venari rat. It was the Coastal Sentry who ended this remarkable battle, with another DDS (deadly double strike for who doesn't know!) See the full battle here!
