Geyser (GYSR) - Quarter 1 Meme review

3 56

It's nearly 1st of April and I have to prepare some good old pranks! Until then ... I realized that my last GYSR article was published on the 29th of December 2020. Geyser (GYSR) knocking at 2021's door was published three months ago and I slacked since then! I blame the Covid-19 pandemic, the homeschooling and obviously Donald Trump!

Quarter 1 review (with memes)

Behind the scene, GYSR is evolving! Maybe the project doesn't have visibility like others but GYSR doesn't need shilling or spotlights as the project blooms according to the plan. Is not about who is trending on Twitter, it's about providing a source of income for the users, and GYSR delivering this to perfection. You want to make more money in 2021? Just chose a random door, and make sure is the door number three!

The latest monthly newsletter was published on the 21st of March, covering all aspects of development. The social media presence grew as more and more are now following the GYSR evolution. The project is heading towards 5,000 followers and subscribers, with +2500 subscribers on Twitter and over 2000 members on the Telegram and Discord channels.

GYSR got mainstream press coverage in Yahoo Finance on the 1st of March, when Sensitrust launched a Geyser to distribute tokens to LPs. The geyser will reward the liquidity providers with SETS tokens that can be used to access Sensitrust services. The platform offers an remote environment where professionals and clients can work, collaborated and design new projects, all under blockchain privacy and security.

Vesper deployed two geysers for liquidity mining strategy and raised the GYSR TVL over $30,000,000. The Vesper DeFi platform is created following algorithmic lending strategies (smart yield accounts) where users contribute into “grow pools’’ that get deployed into a unified strategy. All the rewards and interest generated is reinvested into the pool deposit token to generate additional return for investors.

GYSR can now be traded on the Argent Wallet and many development updates made the platform even cooler then it was. Lots of improvements were made for wallet integration and the main dashboard got upgraded. One of the big enhancements will be the move to a modular Geyser architecture which will improve the efficiency of core contracts. The GYSR V2 will be launched in the spring, once all the testing, audits and auxiliary contracts are ready to go.

The Fountain is a non-competitive yield farming feature where users will not compete for the reward. The smart contracts can be created through the factory and can be configured to share one reward token per staked token, under a set of bonus features and parameters. The reward will be generated over time, being non-competitive and highly predictable.

The GYSR Navy is the new role created on Discord, a place where active participants, social media supporters and those wearing a "thinking hat" are added. It started with eight members and I was one of them. A design contest will happen soon, in the quest to find a logo for the GYSR Navy!

The GYSR Meme Competition was great and I can say I seen a lot of quality entries. The prize pool was 400 GYSR tokens and yes.. I took part ... and yes... I won the 5th place with one of my original GYSR memes.

Say hello to GY!

Sometimes I get bored, sometimes I don't have time to eat. In one of those days when nothing happened, I put my 5years old drawing skills in action and created GY, a funny looking alien made from the GYSR logo.
