Doctor Who Worlds Apart - My Expectations For 2024 And Beyond
I expect Doctor Who Worlds Apart to continue the upwards trend and become a mainstream game for crypto-whovians. The success of the TV series will power the entry of non-crypto users, as Doctor Who is seen regularly in 65 countries with a world-wide audience of 110 million.
The Doctor Who Worlds Apart play2earn will tap into that fan base and will make waves in the Metaverse! It is one of the biggest names in the history of television, with 60 years of existence. The Doctor's adventures started in 23rd of November 1963, then the pilot episode, An Unearthly Child, was aired on BBC. Doctor Who was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the longest running science-fiction series in the world.
The 60th anniversary special casted David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor, as he reunited with his beloved companion Donna Noble. For the fans that will remember... the Doctor was forced to wipe her memories of their adventures for fear her mind would burn.
I created my Doctor Who Worlds Apart account long before the beta or the test realms. Since then I collected 125 cards and have 7 unopened packs for later on. I prefer to keep them sealed as the way the mints are unwrapped is randomized. My theory is that opening the packs later will give higher chances for better cards. Maybe I am wrong!
The Doctor Who Worlds Apart is now available for everyone, and tournaments are constantly organized. I played in few, and even bossed my group with maximum points once.
The game was simplified, as the current system is easier to understand. I still struggle with the gameplay, due to how slow my computer is, but the game is very enjoyable.
You can enjoy early beta gameplay, and complete quests along the battles. Users can complete 25 quests to receive bonus XP, which (at one point) will be used to upgrade the cards.
How you play the game? The game starts as the TARDIS makes its journey through time and space, rematerializing at a new location for each of the game’s six turns. Both players have a customizable deck of 12 cards, with three three active cards the hand.
Play the cards and have the most overall power to win the game. Sounds simple, but the dynamic is complicated and competitive. The players take their turns at the same time, playing one or more cards each turn, if they can afford their Artron cost. Artron is mana ... if you are not familiar with the term.
The player with the most points during each clash will win the extra points, which will be added to the total. The power from all cards in the Present is added up for each player, and whoever has more wins the World and it's Power. The World's power is randomized for each game, from extra bonuses or Artron to summoned units or extra cards.
The aim is to make the highest number of points, while you build-up for the next world clash. The game will ends when all six rounds have been completed, and the player with the higher power wins the game!
I played a lot with Cyberman, and then gave it a try to the dinosaur infused deck. The synergy is different, as you power up the mighty T-Rex for the end-game. The dynamics will boost the king of dinosaurs to an insane amount of power, which could flip the game in the last round.
If Daleks are your things, they are available for mass-destruction. It's not late to join Doctor Who Worlds Apart ... because time is irrelevant! You can be a Time-Lord, and you could travel with the Tardis.
