I had the opportunity to test Solarplex, part of a Dean's List review for this web3 platform. I always enjoyed voting and using staked tokens to say my thoughts on governance proposals. Dean's List made no difference and I used my 500 $DEAN to vote on a proposal regarding the airdrop of 50,000 $DEAN tokens per NFT to all holders that staked the Non-Fungible token.

I went for yes, as the 4.14% of the supply that will be airdropped will create better dynamics in governance voting. This will allow holders to participate easier in tasks inside the DAO.

I participated in a poker tournament and finished third, adding 200 $DEAN to my portfolio. Staked them for voting power and voted in two more proposal.

I voted "No" for granting recognition to all Hackathon Case Study submissions and requesting additional funds from the Solana Foundation because this is what the DAO wanted, and "YES" for the Quorum Test.

More proposals and more opportunities to be active in governance! Voted for the introduction of KPI Reporting Service, as I am a big fan of KPI options, and yes again for marketing budgeting, free feedback for apps and moving 4 billion tokens from the Realms Treasury to Squads.

A new opportunity to gain more $DEAN arise when another poker tournament was announced. Thousands of $DEAN tokens where allocated for this event and I had to play my A game to get into the prize pool!

Lots of participants this time, and I survived a lot thanks to the pairs of 6s and 3s with an A as a back-up. This hand made me catch the final table, where the big players were in for the trophy!

I was guaranteed a prize as I was one of the last five players at the table. Played another calculated all-in with a pair of 7s and I won. I am just joking as was nothing calculated in this hand... only pure luck!

I was running out of chips and had to go all-in and pray for a miracle! The 7 came just in time and grant me the wish, allowing me to play few more rounds.

Went all-in few hands later, as the others were just dominating the table. I started with 9 and 10 in the hand, and put all my chips on the table when I had two pairs.

The third ten made me giggle, as I started with an average hand and ended up with a full-house! I wasn't buzzing anymore when I seen the hand of my opponent, and his full-house backed by an Ace!

I went out but was happy to finish third out of a lot of participants. Claimed my 12,000 tokens straight into the Poker dApp and clapped for Donaldetom who bagged the big bag of 80,000 tokens.

I staked the poker winnings and got 10,000 $DEAN on top of that as I wanted to have more voting power. I now have 22,700 $DEAN governance power and I voted yes for Citizenship NFT Grants and the allocation of 12 million tokens to the community.

I am happy with the direction of Dean's List DAO? Absolutely! I found a top community, and a place where my reviews and feedbacks can generate income! Let's grow and dive even more into the Solana ecosystem!
