This achievement needs a background story, about how reading books about fictional books about an almighty wizard made me love a brand of whiskey. Macallan was Nate Temple's favorite drink, and this guy was a wizard, one of the Horseman's of the Apocalypse and a Maker.

The character in the urban fantasy "The Temple Chronicles" was created by Shayne Silvers, and made me fall in love with the product created by the Macallan Distillery located in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland.

The single malt Scotch whisky is mentioned several times in the books, and I recommend you the Nate Temple series to everyone who still enjoys a good old paperback.

Shayne is a man of mystery and power, the author of the Amazon Bestselling Feathers and Fire Series. He also writes the Amazon Bestselling Nate Temple Series, which features a foul-mouthed wizard from St. Louis. He rides a bloodthirsty unicorn, drinks with Achilles, and is pals with the Four Horsemen.

Shayne holds two high-ranking black belts, and can be found writing in a coffee shop, cackling madly into his computer screen while pounding shots of espresso.

Back to the future, where I added a birthday Macallan to the list of goals for 2023. Is buying a bottle of whiskey an achievement? Can be if a man wants to make a big deal out of it! Will also help with the end of the year statistics, when I will say that I completed 80% or 90% of my goals!
