Another Dragons Splinterlands Battle Challenge? I have a deja-vu
I don't like to be a party pooper but I don't like dragons! Not because they aren't cool but because I don't have many dragon cards in my deck. Welcome to ... just another Splinterlands Dragons Battle Challenge!
The Drake of Arnak is my only summoner, the medium-sized Dragon hybrid that can't even fly nor breathe fire. All his life he has trained his skills as a summoner, hoping to win glory through battle!
The choice of dragons is limited, but at least I have one for each day of the week! Djinn Chwala and the Desert Dragon are my strong ones, and I just noticed that I can upgrade the Twilight Basilisk to level two!
I wanted to try something different this time, and paired the amazing Djinn Chwala with the Desert Dragon, a legendary beast that was disturbed by the Venari. Desert Dragons where forgotten for millennia, until the rats started dug their tunnels and burrows.
The Venari become lunch for this beasts with savage horns and vicious fangs. Don't be fooled by the tattered and torn wings, as they are quick and deadly.
This 7-mana Legendary beast has 6 health points, 3 armor, 2 speed, 4 melee damage and Trample at level one. Will gain Piercing, Retaliate and even Giant Killer ability when upgraded. Behold the true rage of the dragons!
Chwala is one of my favorite tanks, with 9 health points, 5 armor and Thorns ability at level one! Will earn Enrage and True Strike when upgraded.
Fire, rage and death awaits in the tunnels! You may be brave enough to venture into the tunnels but you may not be strong enough to find your way out. Melee Mayhem and 30 mana cap are a good mix when you wanna play over-powered close combat.
Drake of Arnak: +1 armor to all friendly monsters
Djinn Chwala: Tank with Roots
Desert Dragon: Legendary with Traple
Grund: Melee with Double Strike
Mycelic Morphoid: Melee with Thorns
Not the best start of the game as the Desert Dragon and Djinn Chwala missed their attacks on the Serpent of Eld. At least the Mycelic Morphoid died in glory, dealing thorns damage to the Deeplurker and the Pelacor Bandit.
The Serpent of Eld wasn't that lucky against Grund, as the behemoth delivered to deadly blows. But missfortune hit again and the Desert Dragon and Djinn Chwala missed their attacks on the Pelacor Bandit.
Grund to the rescue, delivering a perfect double-strike! The Desert Dragon was in agony but managed to have a big bite of an enemy. This battle can still head either way, as the annoying Scavo Hireling keeps repairing armor.
Double-Strike and Thorns are mixing well in a lethal cocktail, as I am turning the battle in my favor. One more round and it's game over! See the full battle here!
