Across is the bridge that Ethereum deserves, being fast and financially efficient. It got even better after zkSync and Base were added as bridging options, bringing Across on the top of the hyper-competitive cross-chain landscape!

One month since the launch on Base and Across captured approximately 25% of the off-Base flows on a daily basis. The numbers are impressive for a reason, and it's no surprise that people are choosing Across! The median from Base to mainnet is 20 seconds (median) from Base to mainnet, compared to the official bridge, which takes a full week to finalize.

Aggregators have huge potential for growth, as they will capture market share by offering the best price and UX once Web3 hits mass adoption. Across will be there to offer the best route when it comes to speed and financial efficiency.

The good news story of the month came from Metamask, which integrated Across to improve the bridging experience on MetaMask Portfolio. This is a smart move from the foxy wallet, as more and more users are embracing the fully decentralized Taho wallet.

Having a closer look to cross-chain trends on Base, Across captures 25% of the flows leaving Base on a daily basis, and approximately 10% of the flows going to Base. Does this represent an improvement of bridge security sentiment or could it be that the Base' official bridge UI is a learning curve that users are bypassing?

To give a bit more depth on the previous stats, approximately $2,000,000 is leaving and approximately $1,000,000 is going to Base via Across on a daily basis. On bridge aggregators Across captures 80%-90% of the flows leaving Base via fast bridges on a daily basis and 40%-60% of the flows in the opposite direction. This demonstrates that in a fair side by side comparison Across is the cheapest and fastest bridge supporting the Base ecosystem!
