Accelerating My Presence On zkERA In The Wait Of The zkSync Bounty - The Hunt Is On!

I started leaving blockchain "footprints" and thick boxes for the already announced zkSync token airdrop in May. Why I am putting effort into this wild chase? Because I got the taste for airdrops and I want more!

Check the part one of the journey if you are an airdrop hunter, and let me share my experience so far! It involves bridging ETH and a lot of buying, minting and selling NFTs! Some are cute... some are pointless... but it all counts towards the eligibility we all chase!

I think the airdrop will be massive, and if will follow a system similar to Optimism or Arbitrum... transaction and the period of time will count towards eligibility.

zkSync is a Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum that offers low gas and fast transactions, without compromising on security. The ZK-tech increased the Ethereum throughput, while maintaining freedom, self-sovereignty, decentralization – at scale.

The zkSync vision is to provide a solution for the web3 exponential demand, obtained through hyperscalability. The innovative project was supported heavily by investors, raising a record-breaking sum of $458M from Tier 1 VCs such as USV, Bybit, Alchemy Ventures, Huobi Ventures, Crypto.Com Capital, Ethereum Foundation, OKX Blockdream Ventures and many more.

It's no clear guide for this but the biggest boxes that may count could be the number of transactions, the number of protocols a wallet interacted, the weeks of activity on the chain, and maybe activity on zkSync Lite.

My journey on zkSync started with bridging 0.1 $ETH on zkSync Lite, through their official bridge. This was the recommendation from OG airdrop hunters, with a mention that this type of transactions should be repeated for few weeks. If transactions will be part of the criteria, then they should be well spread apart and not in the same day (or week).

Completed a series of tasks and left blockchain footprints on zkLite, and hoped this will count towards the airdrop criteria. The next step was to bridge the funds to zkSync Era and accelerate my presence.

I used the Orbiter_Finance bridge, just to interact with another protocol, and pressed the sent button. The transaction was quicker then expected, only 20 seconds, and spent a lot less gas compered with the official zkSync bridge.

I added ETH-USDC LP on Sync Swap last month, compounding my assets at 21% APY. Why? I thought this pool will have more trade volume, and more trade fees will be shared to the liquidity providers. Swapped -/-2249 ETH for 47 USDC, created the LP and add it into the pool.

SyncSwap is nice, as you get gas refunds on every transaction. I had a minimal pool share, but the earnings from the fees will compound into my position. Also, this will count for transactions, protocol and time period on the chain.

Minted the Galactic Tractor on MintSquare and listed the NFT on their market ... and successfully sold it for 0.0013 ETH. I bought one of the zkMonsters because I like it, and will look cool as a profile picture.

The next step was a hybrid leap of faith, as I browsed the top collections and bought some NFTs. I bought some ZK Crystal Monsters, Gangster Rabbit and some others for more than one reason. They look cool, the price was low, they have potential to grow in value. Even if I will not flip them on the market I will have a nice NFT collection and stuff to use for gifts and giveaways. More transactions ... more chances!

I am doing weekly transactions, interacting with various protocols! I added another protocol to the list, using Omnisea to mint a limited collection of Humble Tractors. Only 4 NFTs were created for the Humble Tractors - Four Seasons, one for each season of the year.

Back to Mint Square to list them, and let the zk hunters know that the tractors have landed on zkSync! Four mints, three owners and the opportunity to be the part of the smallest select group of holders!

I added 41 USDC plus 0.0199 ETH a month ago, and took out 0.0027 more $ETH. It's not much but is honest work. Consistency is the key, and weekly transactions across several protocols is the solution.
