Over the course of time we have been privileged to come across exceptional leaders/people whose success story still resounds today even in their desth. This is @PASTOR001 ones again good morning everyone happy New day to you all, this is another powerful one from the pupit read be bless.

There are also leaders, heavily anointed, exceptionally gifted and talented who couldn't live to the desired expectation, though highly gifted and anointed, they could not fulfill their popose of existence maximally. Many factors contributes to person or a leaders faillure in achieving the desired results or popose of existence maximally. Be it ministerial, business or family wise, the chief among these factors is the subject " PERSONALITY". When we talk about the leader and his person we are simply saying the leader and his personality, does the personality of a leader or a person impact his leadership, the answer is capital YES, as a matter of fact you count separate the leader from the personality, his personality is the aggrilegate sum of who he is. What then is personality ?.

Personality can be referred to as a combination of mental behavior and traits or quality of thinking pattern, feeling and activity, it is a range of enduring tedecies of an individual to think, feel and behave in a specific manner in deverse situations, because of the damage that can be done to the potential of a leader or person as a result of his or her ability to deal with or manage some excesses that may arise as defects in personality, unknown to him but seen and known to those around him per time, there is a need for self evaluation and re-evaluation of our personality.

KEY AREAS OF A LEADERS PERSONALLY.

There are many areas of aspects of a leader or person's life that should be regularly checked and looked into per time, but for the popose of this writing we will look at the following areas.

  1. CHARACTER:

By character we mean an enduring and distinguishing metal and moral characteristics in an individual, it is a set of moral and mental qualities and believe that makes a person deferent from others

  1. VALUE:

VALUE are those things or principles we consider worthwhile or important, they are those moral principles we consider very important in life, the value of leader or person sustains has a way of affecting his level of relevance and influence.

  1. COMMUNICATION:

No matter how how beautiful an idea is or plan is, when it is wrongly or poorly communicated, such plan is bound to fall. In attaining organizational or individual goals and objectives communication is a vital tool. Often times, poor communication leads to misunderstanding and conflict in homes, businesses and the church.

  1. EMPATHY:

Empathy is the ability to share and understand the emotions of others, there are basically three ways of looking at empathy;

a. Affective empathy: this is the ability to share the emotions of those around us.

b. Cognitive empathy: is the ability to understand the of others.

c. Emotional regulation: this refers to the ability to regulate ones emotions ( John 11:35). Jesus wept, when Jesus came to the funeral of Lazarus, he saw the people grieving and he wept, Jesus is one who feels the impact, the emotions of others.

At the centre of a person's personality is his temperament, if I will successfully build a leadership structure where organization, ministerial and family goals are met, there is need to constantly evaiuate and re-evaluate our personality traits, (Number 12:3). As we strive to be better, the Lord will brighten up every aspect of our lives 🚺 in Jesus name Amen
