Closed evil dangerous

As the Isrealites made their final preparation to take possession of the land of Canaan which the Lord has promised them, their main threat was not an outside enemy but corruption from within, like a cancerous tumor, that effect of sin may at first be difficult to detect, but if left untreated they can be deadly and affect many lives.
