[WP] One morning, you woke up with the ability to see true and false when written down. If it glows a golden color then it is true, but if it glows a dark color, then it is false. Out of curiosity, you go to the library and walk into the History section, and to your horror, all you see is darkness.

The four men quickly entered a square like formation, with 9nenman at each 'corner' of the square. In the middle of this square stood PointGuard, who touched the ground a bit and got the sand on his fists to deal with the sweat he was producing. Even though he was looking forward to this, a part of him was afraid.

"You guys should focus on the information I'm passing through our Comms, because it will be vital if we're going to survive this at all. When I say move, move. It doesn't matter if you think you're fast or string enough, as far as you do what I tell you to do, and match my tempo, then you live. If not, then we all die. You understand?"

The men looked unsure, even though they were some of the best the unit had to offer. They had never worked with PointGuard, and even though they heard he was exceptional for the short while he served in the field, there had to be a reason he left. On the other hand, Mill wZ a well-known threat, for his ability which was on its own fairly dangerous, but was an extremely dangerous ability because of the brain of the person behind it.

"I don't know, Chief. Are you sure?"

"If we were in a different setting, you'd have gotten a nice punishment for that statement. That can stay for later. Now, just follow my lead."

He looked around at the men and smiled. With this team, he could do it. Adrenaline had filled their systems. Every instruction he issued would be received and carried out fast on full auto reflex.

The four men in Division Chief PointGuard's team as at that moment had useful powers.

Garrison, who was gifted with the ability to turn his body to solid, impenetrable rock, for a period of 10 minutes at a stretch. No atracs could oentrate his skin at that time, and due to the toughness and his combat ability, attacks on opponents were usually lethal.

Doppelganger could mirror his opponent's moves and abilities for a full minute, needing a five minute recharge after that. He was one of the most tactical in the team for that, because knowing their moves allowed him to predict their next line of action.

Dasher had speed going for him. With his middleweight physique, he combined the momentum gathered with his strength to land blows that connected and hurt, while staying out of harm's way. His only weakness was tiring out, or getting his joints and tendons twisted while moving.

John Doe could make himself and anything he was in contact with invisible. PointGuard thought of a contingency plan in case all things went south, and John Doe was his escape route.

Of course, he had picked people whom Mill did not know. These guys were from a top secret unit he was cultivating for a time like this, when skilled agents went rogue. Neither of these men knew each others' abilities either, so they didn't know that one of them was an escape route.

How then would they be able to work together and in synchronism? That was PointGuard's job, andit was one he had no problems with.

Mill looked at the setup and smiled. "What's this all about? Chess or what? You're trying to protect the Queen at all costs? I never knew you as a person that would play dirty like this, PointGuard. Do these goons know that they're the expendables in this situation?"

"Why don't you focus on not getting killed? It'll be a better way to waste your effort."

Mill gathered saliva in his mouth, deciding to aim at PointGuard. The latter smiled, knowing what that meant.

"Garrison, to my front. Block. Dasher, move before Garrison and faster than he can see - around and to the back. Pinch to the back of the head or the side, as the case may be. Doppelganger, you copied that, right? The moment he turns to face Dasher, aim for the leg. John Doe, behind Dasher. Straight line, we can all hide behind the cover of Garrsion's body. We're drawing out this battle. " he whispered.

Mill spat.

The moment they all moved to carry out the instructions, the atmosphere changed. Whether they were fast enough to achieve what they had been instructed to, as far as they moved, everything fell in place at the tempo and speed PointGuard had ordered.

Garrison was in front in time, getting hit in the neck since he was a full head taller than PointGuard. The crystal bounced off, and Mill's eyes widened.

"So there's someone like-"

Something whizzed past him, his eyes barely registering the movement. A speedster?

He still had some spittle in his mouth, so he decided to turn it into a crystal spray, but that was plan was stopped in its tracks when a crystal logged itself in his thigh.

As he screamed out in pain, Dasher's punch connected with the back of his head, sending him crashing to the ground.

Doppelganger's eyes widened as he realized what PointGuard's ability entailed. By issuing instructions to his team, he could control the flow of the whole team's movements according to his plan as far as they made an initial movement in accordance to his instructions.

As far as they moved to do what he told them to, PointGuard could control the whole team!
