[WP] One morning, you woke up with the ability to see true and false when written down. If it glows a golden color then it is true, but if it glows a dark color, then it is false. Out of curiosity, you go to the library and walk into the History section, and to your horror, all you see is darkness.

It was three days since the damning news report, and every day, more and more damning information was revealed. News outlets and mass media took their time dissecting the information they were given, and relaying the juicy details to hungry consumers wiewing and listening all around the world.

The spotlight was now reaching the deeper knowledge and information of the identities of some of the agents involved, and who better to make the headlines than public enemy number one, serial arsonist and hostile agent Flames the Arsonist?

As expected, she had a cult following of sympathisers and blind admirers who adored her and defended her cause, while the law enforcement agencies worked with her former foster parents, child protection services, and a lot of other independent entities to try and get a good description of who she was.

Foundation headquarters globally were being raided, and arrests were being made, albeit with several losses, since the armed forces sent were dealing with a new type of enemy with different weapons at their disposal. Deaths were being recorded at an alarming rate, and the world watched on, with approval, disapproval, indifference, and a wide range of emotions and opinion as to how the whole situation was being handled.

And in the middle of the whole fiasco was a rejuvenated Mill, ready to proceed with his plans. Now that the smoke was everywhere, he could move as planned. It was past setting the situation under control, or minimizing losses, the whole information was out there, and being released at the discretion of the media outlets.

It was now a question of whether they could save themselves the capture by the authorities, since the heat was everywhere.

In this senseless scramble for safety, in this chaos, he could move as freely as he wanted, and get his revenge. He was smart enough to leave himself out of all the documents and information, so while they were all receiving the heat, his face was not out in the open. Of course, that could never last long, because now the public knew what to look for and where to look, it was only a matter of time before he was out there.

But now, he had the money he needed - he was set for life. Now to clean up and retire to a life of relaxation. Maybe Paris to find love? Or the exotic Maldives for a life of leisurely enjoyment?

Limitless opportunities awaited him.

But first, PointGuard had to die.

I sat at the table, listening to the briefings with my mouth wide open.

I had finally met the twelve members of Director Harmonia's unit.

Aside Harmonia, Demeter and Asclepius who were all at least Level 5 agents, and whom I had already known their abilities, I had:

Apollo, who could grow black arrows from his spiky hair. The arrows were made of a material that possessed lysosomes powerful enough to destroy the body cells within seconds, turning them to sludge. He was Level 3 Agent.

Nemesis, who could send herself into catatonic state for a maximum of five minutes per half-hour, allowing her intangible spirit to attack and half the life force of anyone who had touched or attacked in any way her prior to her induced coma. She was a Level 5 Agent.

Athena, who possessed extraordinary strength, enough to lift a double-decker bus without breaking a sweat.

Poseidon, who could gather water molecules in the air and formmany source to manifest and control water. Being a Level 5 agent, he could also use that to cause storms and control lightning and storms.

And finally, there was Medusa, whose hair could grow up to fifteen feet, and wild as though it had a mind of its own. With a tensile force that was stronger than that of steel, and a lot of dexterity, she could easily rip cars and many objects apart. She was a Level four agent.

I was safe, since I was in a unit with some of the most overpowered agents in Justice.

But yet, my heart went out to Flames, who was in the public eye now and had been declared 'Wanted'. I had no idea how she would take this, but I hoped that she would actually listen to reason this once and stay inside until the whole thing blew over.

Director Harmonia finished her briefing. "For now, Justice has not been compromised in any way. Flames is the only person people know about, not other agents, not locations, or any of that. While that is subject to change, we are safe for now, and we can carry on as usual. But we must remember that this is an opportunity for the Foundation to strike nonetheless, so we must act cautiously when we move out. It's unfortunate that this could not be avoided, since we'd been informed that Meek and Mill were already dead."

Again, all eyes fell on me, and I sank further in my chair. It was on the day that the news aired that I wrote down 'Mill is dead" and it did not glow gold. Somehow, he had survived that, and since then, I'd been the object of dark, cold and locking looks from literally everyone in the unit apart from Asclepius.

I sighed slightly and kept to myself the information I had. I knew that Mill was out for Flames, and I told her that the last time I called her, but apart from that, all the information I had verified was kept to myself. I did not feel like I was part of the unit, so I didn't associate myself with them.

Demeter spoke up. "Despite that setback, which was due to unforseen but understandable circumstances, having Jermaine here gives us an advantage. So we'll be needing his help in the future, and we'll make sure to avoid the mistakes we made earlier."

I actually looked up to make sure she was the one that had said this, and she smiled at me. It was a strange thing to see,.and yet it was such a warm gesture.

"So from now, your codename is Prometheus, who is known to be the god of forethought and crafty counsel, which fits you perfectly. Welcome to the Olympia unit!"

There was no round of applause, but then I saw that coming.

TO BE CONTINUED.
