[SP] Lady Justice is tired of being blindfolded.
*****
It was a moment that had been long in the making. She had thought, she had contemplated, she had questioned. There was no rationale behind the ordeal she'd been forced to pass through since time immemorial. Several times it had crossed her mind to take it up, but she had never had the courage to do so.
Which made this moment more surprising to her than any of the other council members in the Hall of the Symbols. The moment in which Lady Justice said she didn't want to be blind anymore.
The council consisted of seven members. She was the seventh, Justicia, and she stood in the middle of the hall, surrounded by the other members.
A redhead turned to her. She was beautiful, but in a strange way. She was tall, but had a lot of curves, and a slight belly pouch. Her breasts were small and perky, but she had flared hips and a huge derriรจre. Her lips were luscious, and her legs were athletic. If only certain parts of her body were taken into consideration, she was drop-dead gorgeous, but in the full picture, she was more unique than beautiful.
And then she had empty eye sockets.
"Justicia, where's this coming from?"
Justicia turned towards the speaker. Erosia, the symbol of Love. She was her partner in crime, the one person who knew her and related with her well amongst all the other council members. Love and Justice had frequent run-ins, and other than that, they were both meant to be blind, unable to give favouritism to one party.
That was why Love bore all the qualities that made people seem attractive to each other, and although she could switch sexes, she decided to remain a female.
"It's coming from my own perspective of life. And it's been a long time coming too. I understand that you'd feel betrayed in a sense, and while I apologize if that's the case, I do not regret my choices or want to take them back. It's as clear as day, Justice doesn't want to be blind anymore."
Lady Justice was glad she couldn't see anyone's faces behind the tight bandages covering her eye. The emotion field yet soulless gaze of Erosia would have been enough to melt her heart.
But the piercing gaze she felt on the back of her head could only be one person.
"Truth, you have something to say?"
"Justicia, we connected on a different level than the tightknit friendship you had with Erosia..."
She wanted to bring up the embarassing memory of Truth asking her out a decade ago and her rejecting him outright, but she decided it wasn't worth it. And the fact was that she knew what he was saying was undoubtedly true - he was Truth after all.
She knew what he looked like. His features were etched in her mind. An aged look that still had a lot of appeal, sharp eyes that pierced the tough exteriors of whoever he looked at and bored into their souls, extracting what was true and filtering out what was false.
His only feature that out her off was her big lips. Truth loved to talk, and didn't know when or how to shut up, hold some things back, or lie. As a result, he was a lot less discreet thanhe should have been, and no one really liked talking to him. His ability to see into souls made keeping secrets from him a waste of time, as he was able to see - to an extent - what the truth really was, and force it to the light.
It was a real pain, but Justicia valued working with him, as he made her job easier.
"We both know why you're doing this, Justicia."
"And since you know, the others might as well know. So spill!"
She could hear him flinch a little, but his resolve to 5slk was still as strong as ever. She waited.
"You now choose to be corrupted. To favor some. To be conditional, and impure. You wish to see, because you wish not to be fair."
She could feel all the eyes on her. Everyone knew that this was the truth, in the most blunt of forms. Was she going to deny or not.
"Yes. All that and more is what I want."
"Justicia!" A shrill voice called out. A sweet voice. She turned to the speaker, already knowing who it was going to be.
Vita.
The Symbol of life. A cool, refreshing breeze was released whenever she exhaled, and her head was a wreath of flowers and vibes, giving her an earth, rough but beautiful look. Her clothes were a stream of clear water, obscuring her privates and giving her a beautiful, ethereal look.
Justicia liked Vita. She was very much less outspoken, and yet whenever she talked, it was niceties. Birds fluttered around her hair, and she fed them from her fingernails which seemed to sprout food.
"Vita, I understand why I want to do this, and I know you do too. There's nothing about this life that is fair, and even my aspect which used to be the only place where humans could seek fair dealings. JUSTICE! It has been corrupted. The balance has been upturned. I will need to see, to tip the scales where necessary to ensure that not the richest, but the right people get the justice they deserve. The law shouldn't sway to influence and wealth, but it does. And I can't act because I'm supposed to be blind, but..."
Truth spoke up. "You should not be worried about that. In the end, the truth..."
"I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE END! I don't teach you how to do your job, so hands off teaching me how to do mine. How long will people continue to suffer, waiting for this end?"
The whole place was silent.
There was a man seated there too. His form was unclear, hazy, almost like a smoky silhouette. Fate, whose true nature was unknown. Die to the infinite nature of the fates of humans, fate had a void identity. He spoke up.
"Truth, she's right. By the time you and I finally make sure that the truth comes out, eventually, damage has been dealt. There are already wounds that cannot be healed. She needs to tip the scales to maintain the balance."
Two people sat at the table that would not talk. One was a six armed man, who had a muscular build. Each of his hands were preoccupied with different walks of life: science, arts, agriculture, building/manufacturing, destruction and medicine. He was Talentum, the symbol of talents, abilities and skills.
"I have nothing to say on this matter. Lady Justicia may do as she wishes, it is her aspect after all.'
The other figure was a skeleton in a heavy hood and cloak. A great scythe hung in his back, and the air around him was dry and cold.
"I have nothing to say on this matter as well. I remain neutral, as death will always be inevitable, for the rich, poor, right, wrong, good, or evil."
Justicia stood in the middle, knowing that the debate was in her favor.
"You may take off the blindfolds if you wish," Erosia said, a lone tear falling from her eyes. "I shall miss your company."
"Who said sight would change anything between us? We are still best of friends because, in truth, we are the worst of enemies. Love is not just, and love is not fair. Yet love is right. Until we make that make sense, we will continue being friends."
Erosia smiled.
Truth spoke up. "I do not support this."
Vita spoke too. "I am in support."
It was down to Talentum. "I already indicated my support."
Death remained neutral.
3 votes in favor. It was done.
"Now," Justicia said, taking off the blindfolds and allowing the light to enter her eyes for the first time, appreciating the colors and faces of all in the room. "I can be me."

I feel I missed the plot on this one a little, but I guess writing is just an expression of how you feel, and this is what I felt about the prompt.
