The match played at La Cartuja in Seville ended in a draw. Luis Enrique's team will play against Poland on Saturday.

Two Group E matches were played yesterday, both of which gave unpredictable results. On the one hand Slovakia beat Poland 1-2 and took the lead in the group after Spain and Poland finished in a draw.

Unai Simon came out in the starting line-up and Mikel Oyarzabal replaced Dani Olmo in the 74th minute.

Luis Enrique’s men played improved, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. Alvaro Morata had a couple of good chances to score, but there is no end to the day for the Juventus striker and he also had to hear the whistles from the stands.

The ball belonged to the home team and as well as most of the scoring chances, however, Real's Isaac and Berg had great chances to score for Sweden.

The match ended in a draw and in the next measurement both teams need three points to get a ticket to the next phase. Spain will host Poland again on Saturday at La Cartuja in Seville.

The first goal was scored by Wojciech Szczesny(og); then Karol Linetty equalized and Milan Skriniar made it 1-2 in the 69th minute.

Slovakia caught Poland by surprise, dominating 1-2 in their first match of the European Championship, thanks to goals from goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and Milan Skriniar.

Both teams in Group E started the tournament with a match marked by Grzegorz Krychowiak's playoffs. With half an hour to go and the score at 1-1, Poland were left with one man less.

Earlier, Slovakia scored the first goal in the first half. After a play by Robert Mak from the left wing, the ball hit the post, and then Szczesny 's back; so the Polish goalkeeper put the ball into his goal.

With 47 seconds left in the second half, Karol Linetty equalized, but in the 69th minute of the match, in a corner, Skriniar scored the winning goal.

The Leverkusen striker took full advantage of a good cross from Coufal on the eve of the break; the second goal, from the middle of the field, was tremendous.

Two goals from Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick, one of them from midfield, gave the Czech Republic a Group D lead after beating Scotland , who deserved more (0-2), at Glasgow's Hampden Park.

It has not been easy for the Czechs, as Scotland have come out with the spirit in this tournament that has not been played for a long time, and their captain, Andrew Robertson, has been a reflection of the home side’s ambition as he has made constant attacks from the left wing.

A shot from Lyndon Dykes and a shot from Robertson himself allowed the Scots to take the lead as the Czech Republic bowed out in search of a counter-attack.

Then Schick appeared. Coufal made a good cross and the Leverkusen striker took full advantage of the break. He scored the second goal early in the second half and it was tremendous, right from the middle of the field. Earlier Schick himself and Darida also had a chance to score and Hendry had a chance to equalize, but the ball hit the post.

Tomas Vaclik has stopped Scotland’s strength and Scotland have paid for their lack of aim. He will play a decisive match against England at Wembley on Friday.
