Even an avid traveler will not be able to fly around all 7000 islands. Therefore, I have compiled for you a list of places, visiting which you will fall in love with the country forever.

Bohol island: paradise in the palm of your hand

A mesmerizing paradise on the island of Bohol (Philippines) in the Pacific Ocean located in the heart of the country. And although it is not very large, it can offer a lot of fun and entertainment for travelers.Bohol's beaches are legendary. Clean, with white soft sand that resembles flour, unique reefs, as well as azure crystal clear water will appeal to sun lovers.

In addition, the Philippine island is dotted with chocolate hills - the resort's trademark. More than 1000 hills of varying heights with steep slopes may seem artificial. The Chocolate Hills in the Philippines is a mystery that no one else can solve. Some argue that these are coral deposits, others are the result of a volcanic eruption. Locals believe that these are stones that remained on the ground as a result of the battle of two giants. But the most romantic version of the origin of the chocolate hills says that these are tears from the unfortunate love of a giant for an ordinary girl. Fauna lovers will be pleasantly surprised to meet exotic animals - tarsiers.

The Tarsier Sanctuary is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines. The goggle-eyed animals weigh a little over 100 grams and are touching with their appearance and the ability to turn their heads almost all 360 degrees. Another attraction of Bohol Island is the calm and serene Loboc River. A walk on a river tram along a winding channel will delight you with breathtaking landscapes, โ€œfloating restaurantsโ€ will surprise you with local cuisine, and waterfalls will become the cherry on top of the cake called โ€œBohol Islandโ€.

Boracay Island: Nature's Bounty

The island of Boracay (Philippines) was created by nature for a relaxing holiday on white sand, lazy swaying on an authentic hammock between tall and slender palm trees under the gentle rays of the sun. The magnificent coastlines of Boracay beaches lure respectable tourists with seclusion and a relaxing atmosphere.

For lovers of a more lively pastime, Boracay White Beach is perfect. This is as much as four kilometers of snow-white land, washed by the Pacific blue. Cafes with national cuisine, a lot of water activities, diving centers for exploring the bottom of the Pacific Ocean annually attract hundreds and thousands of tourists. An old forest wetland called the Dead Forest provides a contrast to Boracay White Beach. It was formed as a result of the flooding of a section of the forest with salty ocean water. Although, there are more mysterious legends about the origin of the Dead Forest, for example, the intervention of supernatural forces.

Luzon Island: the heart of the archipelago

Luzon is one of the most populated islands in the Philippines. It is here that the progressive capital of the country, Manila, is located. Unique colonial-style architecture, Chinatown, museums, parks - not all the sights that the island is ready to discover.

Taal volcano in the Philippines is quite small (about 350 meters high), but active. Over the past four centuries, there have been about 300 eruptions. A nice bonus will be a small lake inside the Taal volcano.
