So, I decided to make a series about best crypto/blockchain movies that can be found for free on internet.

Such movies are also a great way to introduce someone who don't know anything about crypto what crypto and blockchain is.

In previous episodes I wrote about two great movies:

This time I like to introduce You two next ones: Banking on Bitcoin and Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It 

Banking on Bitcoin

That one was created by Christopher Cannucciari and premiered was in 2016.

This is how plot was described by The Periscope:

"Not since the invention of the Internet has there been such a disruptive technology as Bitcoin. Bitcoin's early pioneers sought to blur the lines of sovereignty and the financial status quo. After years of underground development Bitcoin grabbed the attention of a curious public, and the ire of the regulators the technology had subverted. After landmark arrests of prominent cyber criminals Bitcoin faces its most severe adversary yet, the very banks it was built to destroy."

It is mainly focused on Bitcoin, showing peoples that are trying to defining how Bitcoin will looks like in a future and how that technology can change our lives. Banking on Bitcoin got very varied reviews. Some critics said that movie is brilliant other use words such a: "provocative" or "propaganda" - so like always in that case: best to check that yourself :)

Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It 

That is one of the most known movie about Bitcoin. It was created on 2015 by Torsten Hoffmann and Michael Watchulonis.

First of all I must admit that on the official movie website (https://cryptopiafilm.com/bitcoin-theendofmoney/) it is advertised with a great slogan:

Bitcoin is …

• ...evil (Paul Krugman)

• ...a joke (Business Insider)

• ...a Mirage (Warren Buffett)

• ...a Ponzi Scheme (ZDNet)

• ...a Technological Tour de Force (Bill Gates)

• ...a Financial Revolution (Reuters)

And authors try to give na answer to that question in a Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It.

The documentary explains how most money we use today is created out of thin air by banks when they create debt. And try to say if a Bitcoin really can be an alternative to national currencies backed by debt?
