What is human love? What does science say about this?

Love and science

Cloud Nine’ - It is said that when a person falls in love, he stays in Cloud Nine. Simply put, there is so much love in the beaver that it can be said in pure Bengali, mentally located in the ninth heaven of happiness. In general, no matter how many stories, songs and poems swim in the sea with the heart on the left side of the chest and the feelings awakened in it, science has studied the layers of the heart and brain to find a scientific explanation for human love.

For 20 years in a row, the Institute of Heart Math in California, USA, has been keeping a close eye on the alleys of the heart to find out which part or any part of the body moves a person's emotions, feelings and love. The study found that the human heart emits a type of (electromagnetic fields) accelerated magnetic field, which depends on the type of emotion. More interestingly, sometimes a few feet around the human body can be found in the residue of this accelerated magnet-field. No one needs to be an expert to talk about the symptoms of falling in love, 'cheeks turn red, heart rate increases, palms sweat'. Because not only the Heartmath Institute, but all the people are doing research every day in one way or another about the heart or the mysterious matter of the heart. However, institutional research has shown that falling in love causes a number of chemical changes in the human body. And several types of hormones play a key role in this.

Let's find out which hormones make such a big difference in our lives:

Lust: As you can hear, lust plays the first role in the beginning of falling in love. Of course, it would not be right to blame anyone for this. Because, if there is a fault, it is the fault of two lustful hormones called testosterone and estrogen. These two hormones drive people in such a way that it is said that some people can behave desperately if they fall in love under the influence of these two hormones. So, those who are most affected by these two hormones may do a lot for love it could be generosity, it could be violence.

Attraction: This is the second step in falling in love. In this next step, people start feeling attracted to each other due to lust. That being said, this is the real step of love. Reaching this stage, people cannot think of anything other than that person of choice. Even eating and sleeping is forgotten. At this stage, a group of neurons called 'monoamines' comes to the fore. One of them is dopamine. Surprisingly, these neurons respond to cocaine or nicotine in the same way they respond to feelings of love. Then it can be said that falling in love is like being addicted to a kind of drug. As dopamine becomes active, so does adrenaline. As a result, the palms of the hands begin to sweat, the cheeks become red, and the heart rate increases. Not to mention that at this stage of attraction, there is a chemical called serotonin. Because, it temporarily drives someone addicted to love in a real sense.

Involvement: This is called, the higher stage of the relationship. This step determines the stability of the relationship. Because, in the case of love, people can never be limited to just attraction. Reaching this stage, people dream from marriage to family. But the two hormones must be credited for bringing this sense of permanence to the relationship. One is vasopressin, the other is oxytocin. This oxytocin hormone is released when the mother gives birth to a child. This hormone causes the child to bond with the mother.

Knowing so much, it may seem like a love hormone game. However, this is not the end of the story. Because humans are sometimes also affected by genes. For example, in the case of a long-term relationship, if you see someone thinking that if he has a relationship with that particular person, what will the next generation be like, then you will understand that he is being influenced by genes. However, with accurate knowledge of hormones and genes, it is possible for science to predict the future of a relationship. But the problem is, this science is not yet readily available.

Appearance is more important when it comes to falling in love. Smell also has a role. But in all of this, people are unknowingly looking for people who look or smell like their parents. I ended the discussion on this 'science of love' with a startling word. That is, research shows that the way the human head or brain works when you fall in love, the way the head or brain works at the beginning of any type of mental illness.

I guess it is also affected by genes but it does not happen every time. I believe it will always come down to the feeling you have towards the person. ❤
