Introduction: Education develops latent human potential. Helps him to acquire ability and skills in life and livelihood. New discoveries in science and social, economic and cultural advances have opened new horizons for human life. As a result, the days of assured living by adopting hereditary professional scholarship are over. Rather, specialized education has become essential to the ever-expanding horizons of work. For this reason, in the modern world, career-oriented education is gaining more importance than general education.

Definition and importance: Career-oriented education is education related to possible professional work for earning a living. The importance and demand for vocational education is increasing as a result of the drastic changes in the lifestyle and characteristics of the people and the increasing competition in life and livelihood. Once upon a time, the people of Bangladesh lived happily living in endless natural resources. He did not have to think about scholarship or professional education. He has made a living by adopting hereditary profession. But now that day is no more. The population has now grown enormously. He is under tremendous pressure on limited resources. As a result, if the country does not move forward on the path of new employment and progress by utilizing scientific and technological progress, an inevitable crisis will come down in the national life.

And for that he needs new work, scholarship and career oriented education. But sadly, in the country, the predominance of general education suitable for making clerks in the conventional education system introduced during the English period still remains. As a result, a large number of those who are leaving school, college and university and are not educated in vocational education are carrying the curse of unemployment and are losing confidence in life in extreme despair. For this reason, as the days go by, everyone is realizing the importance of vocational education. In the last decade of the twentieth century, the importance of vocational education has been particularly realized in our country. It is now clear that in the present reality, the expansion of career-oriented vocational education has become essential. It can play an effective role in the progress of the country as well as in the country and abroad through employment is able to contribute to the elimination of unemployment. This can save many families from unrest. The spread of this education will reduce the unwanted crowds in general and higher education. Moreover, job-oriented education can create various opportunities for self-employment and as a result it can play an effective role in maintaining the economic stability of the country and alleviating poverty. Career-oriented education can not only create new employment opportunities, but also ensure the development and economic growth of the country by playing a positive role in various fields of agriculture, industry and trade. From there, career-oriented education can also play a fruitful role in shaping the economic foundation of the nation. Career-oriented education builds the confidence of the individual to take up an independent profession, makes him self-reliant and thus saves the nation from a large number of unemployment and protects him from the curse of the dependent. In an age of astonishing advances in science, career-oriented education has become inevitably necessary even in developing countries like ours.

Nature of action oriented education: Action oriented education is not mechanical education. His position is in the realm of lifelong learning. The role of career-oriented education is judged in the light of a full and holistic sense of life. Career-oriented education undoubtedly seeks to create technical and vocational manpower but the development of its human qualities cannot be neglected. Millions of career-oriented education from here:

Asking knowledge in creat

Introducing the student to the acquisition of knowledge-science, creating interest in knowing the unknown and developing latent qualities.

B. Value creation: To inculcate moral, social, religious and human-cultural values in the student and to develop him / her as a democratic, rational, science-minded citizen.

C. Encouragement to work: To build a work-oriented, life-oriented, professional, earning-minded manpower.

If these three important goals can be achieved, the additional manpower will be human resources and if not, the part-time job-oriented education will make people mere instruments devoid of human values.

Existing Opportunities for Vocational Education: Vocational education has not yet expanded in our country. As a result, millions of highly educated young men and women with college and university degrees in the conventional way are immersed in anxiety and despair over the extreme curse of unemployment. However, most of the educated people in the developed countries are educated in technical, vocational and vocational education. Even in developing countries like Asia, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, etc., vocational education has gained considerable importance. In our neighboring country India, 5% of the educated population is educated in vocational education. And in Bangladesh this rate is less than 1 percent. This is because of the unwelcome neglect of action-oriented education in our education system. Even the recent establishment of new universities, the steps taken to upgrade many colleges to university colleges have largely neglected the aspect of vocational education. As a result, the number of educated unemployed is inevitably increasing. But if the field of vocational education was expanded, many young people would be able to create a happy and peaceful future with the help of a secure livelihood.

Efforts to expand vocational education: It is not that the field of vocational education in Bangladesh has not developed at all. Vocational technical education activities are gradually expanding. Engineering, science and technology and agricultural universities are being established in the country by departments and districts. Medical education has been expanded through 22 medical colleges and 1 dental college. There are also 4 engineering institutes, many polytechnic institutes and vocational training institutes, leather technology colleges, textile technology colleges, graphic arts institutes etc. Privately established small technical institutes have been and are being established in the country. However, it goes without saying that the opportunities for vocational education that exist now are insignificant compared to the huge population.

However, in the greater interest of the nation, in order to expand vocational education, the government has recently taken steps to provide vocational education at the secondary level. Because, the educated manpower of the country is formed on the basis of secondary education. In the meantime, steps have been taken to expand vocational education at the secondary level: making agriculture and home science compulsory, introducing double shifts in polytechnic institutes, introducing basic trade courses in ninth and tenth classes in schools and madrasas, general education and vocational education since 1995. S. C. Introduction of education system, introduction of business management education system at secondary level etc.

Problems and Recommendations for Implementation of Oriented Curriculum: Management also lacks infrastructural facilities for implementation of Oriented Curriculum. Problems also exist in the case of necessary teachers, other manpower, provision of educational materials, arrangements for financial expenditure etc. The need for training to improve the quality of teachers is also undeniable. The following steps need to be taken to address these issues:

1. Ensure recruitment of required number and quality trained teachers for introduction and expansion of work oriented education system.

2. Allocation of necessary expenditure for the provision of educational

materials for vocational and technical education. 3. Establishment of Vocational Teacher Training Center for teachers to conduct vocational education activities

4. Promoting creative activities through national campaigns to encourage vocational education, technical and computer science education activities.

Conclusion: Our country is plagued with growing unemployment problem, social prejudice, population problem, political instability, terrorism in the campus, etc. Providing appropriate constructive and action-oriented education to the young society will be very effective as one of the efforts to overcome this obvious problem. There is a need for proper practical and far-reaching planning and skilled manpower to create and encourage this work. Only then will this great effort be able to bring positive results in the national life.

The same essay is collected from another book:

Introduction: In the current context of Bangladesh, the importance of technical education is infinite. In general, in our country only students are passing in general education and as a result the number of unemployed is increasing day by day. If they are educated in technical education, they will not be unemployed even if they are not in government service. After completing their education, they will work hard to help them move forward in nation building.

Types of education: There are two types of education in general. (

A) General education

(B) Technical education. What is technical education? : By vocational education or technical education we mean the education that makes a person a professional. That is, technical education helps a student to earn a living by adapting to a particular profession in real life. Through education people gain wealth, education liberates people's minds. Life requires both. Technical education helps deeply in meeting this need.

Different levels of technical education: We mean technical education by gaining knowledge about engineering and various scientific subjects and the use of machinery and construction science, production of small machinery, etc. On the one hand, medical science also falls into the category of scientific and technical education in the present age. Because there is also the introduction of machinery. Substantial refinements are being made in the national curriculum with the aim of making education life-oriented. Students are studying in the universities of engineering, science, technology and agriculture in the country. Many medical colleges have been established in the country. There are many polytechnic institutes and vocational training institutes. There are also Leather Technology, Textile Institute, Graphic Arts Institute and many more such training institutes.

Essentials of Technical Education in Bangladesh: In a poor country like ours, there is no opportunity to build large scale industries. Therefore, by establishing small and lumbar industries here, the huge population of the country can be made suitable for work. Various handicrafts can be taught in the cottage industries of the poor and uneducated who are deprived of the opportunity of higher education. Jute bag making, various paper flower making, handicraft, leather, screen printing, batik, engineering workshop work, TV, radio, VCP, VCR, fridge, air conditioning, book binding, offset printing, computer etc. are quite easy to learn nowadays. Life can be lived. Besides, if you take carpentry, masonry, electrician, sanitary fittings, driving, hotel management etc. as vocational education, you can live a much better life than a normal employee.

Effectiveness of technical education: The number of educated unemployed is increasing by taking general education. Again, education is being proved to be meaningless by using any other profession without using the acquired education. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the interest in general education and show affection towards technical education. As there is a considerable difference in value and status between different professions in the country, educated people have a vision towards higher status. Moreover, in the present age of science, economic development is not possible without technical education. In this age of spread of mechanical science, technical education should be widely introduced in our country as well.

Industrial development: Rapid industrialization is required for economic development. Technical education is again required for real industrialization. Without technical knowledge, no qualification can be developed to run a mill. Therefore, first of all, a large number of young men and women of the country have to take technical education.

Prerequisites: Biblical knowledge is unsuitable for the workplace in real life, which is why we have not been able to progress ethnically. If people are not transformed into manpower through education, then the nation will not progress. Prosperity does not come in national life. So now there is a special need for technical education.

Conclusion: At the root of our country's economic crisis is a large population. In this situation, if this huge population can be converted into manpower, it will be possible to deal with the problem. Skilled manpower can be built through extensive expansion of technical education and a lot of foreign exchange can be earned by exporting it abroad. Above all, technical education can give the nation a way of self-employment
