He owned a lot of wealth due to this patriarchal business. He was probably the first of the eminent ulama of that time to manage his livelihood, the service of the elm and all the expenses of the poor students gathered near him, regardless of the state patronage or the gifts of the rich. He nurtured Imam Muhammad, one of his most prominent seers, from an early age and brought him to the pinnacle of his establishment. The list of scholars who have been nurtured with his help and well-established in various branches of knowledge is very long.

Imam Sahib joined his father's business from a young age. He had to travel to different markets and trade centers for business. Coincidentally, one day he met Imam Shabbir. At the first sight, Imam Sha'bi noticed the radiance of genius in Abu Hanifa's innocent face. He asked, boy! What do you do I see you traveling this way all the time! Where do you come and go?

Imam Sahib replied, I do business. I have to go to and fro in the shops of traders to fulfill my business responsibilities. Imam Sha'bi asked again, "This is your school age." Do you travel to any scholar's academy?

Abu Hanifa said. He replied simply, I rarely have such an opportunity.

After a short discussion, Imam Sha'bi made Abu Hanifa interested in concentrating on acquiring knowledge. It was not here that he became disillusioned, but rather he traveled from the city of Kufa and stayed in Mecca-Medina for six long years and acquired knowledge from all the sheikhs there. And since Mecca-Medina was the center of all local and foreign ulama, mashayekhs, muhaddiths and jurists, it can be said that Mecca-Medina was the center of knowledge. Besides, there is evidence that he performed the holy Hajj 55 times (Ukudul Zaman, p. 220). On each of his visits, he met with local and foreign ulama, Mashayekh and Muhaddisin of Makkah-Madinah.

‘Abu Hanifa (Rah.) Has narrated over seventy thousand hadiths in his books. And Al-Athar has written the book selected from forty thousand hadiths' (Al-Zawahirul Maziyah, B-2, p-463).

He was also endowed with incomparable knowledge of Hadith. Various writers have stated that he has collected hadiths from four thousand sheikhs (As-Sunnah, p. 413, Uqudul Zaman, p. 63, Khair al-Hisan, p. 23). Refusal to accept the position of Qawi and martyrdom:

The then Caliph Mansur wanted to make Imam Abu Hanifa the chief qazi of his caliphate in order to perpetuate his rule. But Imam Abu Hanifa refused to take such a lucrative position because he was well aware that It is not possible to conduct a fair trial. When he found out about the caliph, he sent a message to him that if he refused to accept the post of Qazi, he should choose the prison for himself. Later, Imam Abu Hanifa [R] informed his mother about the matter However, he made it clear that the worldly punishment of Ibn Hubayrah was easier for me than the severe punishment of the Hereafter. However, he also killed me. By God, it is impossible for me to accept this position. In the end, the caliph, unable to satisfy his interests, imprisoned the imam and brought him out of the prison every day, whipping him ten times in public, and then turning him around. In this manner, the punishment continued for twelve days. Imprisoned and tortured in various ways. Then a house was kept under surveillance

The whip left blood stains on various parts of the Imam's body. Fresh blood from the wound fell on the ground and the soil of Kufra turned red. But the stone heart of the caliph did not melt. His heart did not tremble even for a moment. In the end, this great Imam was poisoned by force. As a result, this great Imam died in 150 AH at the age of 70 in a state of prostration inside the prison. After his death, the caliph's bodyguards propagated his death as "normal death."

However, the ultimate reality of the world is that the truth may be tied to the mystical utterances or the abuse of power, but the truth must one day be revealed by breaking the net of lies.

Burial and burial ground: ---

He died in prison as a result of poisoning applied by Caliph Mansur in 6 AH 150 AH. At his first janaza, the number of people stood above 50,000. His janaza was held in 5/6 points. Imam Abu Hanifa, the victim of brutal torture, testified before his death that he would not be buried after his death in the area where Caliph Manusar had unjustly seized the people's money and built a city in Baghdad. His son Hammad was the last imam at his funeral. He was buried in a place called Khazran between his disciples Imam Abu Yusuf and Imam Muhammad.

Even after burial, janaza prayers were performed near his grave for twenty days. People prayed for him till 20 days of his death. Later, many years later, a mosque named Abu Hanifa was established in Adhamiya, next to Baghdad.

An incident of Imam Abu Hanifa:

Muhammad ibn Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a thief broke into a man's house. Duke stole and took an oath from the man that if the man shouted or told anyone who had stolen, his wife would be divorced three times!

In the morning this man saw the thieves, they were taking his goods to sell.

But because of that oath I could not dare to say.

The man came and asked Imam Abu Hanifa for advice. He said, "Bring to me the imams, muezzins and dignitaries of your mahalla." The man brought them.

Abu Hanifa asked them: Do you not want this person to return his goods?

Everyone answered yes.

Then Abu Hanifah said: Gather all the people around you who are accustomed to bad deeds in one house. And take them out one by one and keep asking this owner if he is your thief.

If you are not a thief, you will not say.

And if he is a thief, I will keep quiet.

When the owner is silent, you will catch the thief.

By this prudent tactic of Abu Hanifah, the man got back all his stolen goods.

Subhanallah.
