* That above verse explained that Jacob is the grandfather of Jesus Christ, but Luke 3:23 said something different from that
Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
* We have no exact thing to decide on in those two bible verses
But 1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
* Even we cannot trace the genealogy of Mary the mother of Jesus Christ because there is no record of his lineage in the Bible
* I cannot question the authority of the Bible, the Apostle said Jesus Christ came from the tribe of Judah, that is Apostle's problem, not mine
Revelation 5:4-5 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
* We should just believe in what was written in the Bible, we should not doubt it!
