Asian countries like Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and even India love eating Omelette. I'm a Nigerian, l have never been to any of these countries, but l garnered this information from the YouTube videos on food by some popular food channels.
I have seen foods of omelet induced with masala, omelet with sauce, eggplant, tofu, rice, salad, and bread. I haven't seen where cooked eggs are used for eating noodles talk more of rice and the rest.
My country have different varieties of foods that don't necessarily contain a particular ingredient, and egg is one food item that most Nigerians eat as a snack, especially with noodles. This is because we have other sources of protein especially from plant.
I know very well that egg is a protein, but seeing that almost all the foods cooked in the aforementioned Asian countries contain egg, isn't that going to have its effect over time?.
Research has shown that excessive intake of protein causes Coronary heart disease, bone loss (osteoporosis), and even renal failure due to its high fat and protein content.
The recommended dietary intake is 0.8g per day, and eggs contain about 12g of fat and 10g of protein. What is the current statistics of the diseases mentioned above in your country, please answer if you from any of these countries.
