The screams of people being torn apart by zombies woke him up. The flesh has been separated from bones was not a sound to be awakened to. Disarray was the order of the day as he tried to open his eyes. They hurt so much. He felt light-headed and fainty.

‘This is no way to wake a man up from been knocked out’, he tried to make light of the situation as memories of what happened came flooding back to him. A large number of zombies had attacked their train, which was overturned and derailed from the train tracks. In the course of the train somersaulting, he had hit his head on a metal chair and lost consciousness.

He looked around to survey his environment. Smoke covered everywhere around him like a big cloud of doom, making it difficult to see. The sounds of the engine still running and the train’s fail-safe alarm was drowned by screams of other sufferers and the gruesome sounds the zombies made. He touched his head, he was bleeding from the spot where he hit it against the metal.

His eyes opened wide with fear as he saw two zombies rushing towards his position. They were unlike anything he has seen in his life. Vicious, angry, wore tattered clothes, and worst of all hungry. Human flesh hung loosely on their teeth with splatters of fresh blood all over them. Their skin was pale and grey, their eyes were almost lost in their socket as though they had no eyes, just an endless pit of darkness. They smelt of death as they were fast closing upon him

‘Oh hell no’, he murmured as he tried to move only to discover he was trapped by his legs under a large mass of train wreck. He was trapped like a mouse inside a mousetrap. He could barely move. He tried lifting the wreck of his legs when two of the zombies pounced on him. He felt this was it. This was how his miserable life ended, in the hands of dead men.

In the last bid to protect himself, he stretched his hands in a protective gesture and closed his eyes to welcome their teeth. But their teeth never came. What’s going on he wondered with his eyes still closed, was he not good enough for them. He reluctantly opened his eyes to find ashes all over him, which was what remained of the zombies that attacked him. He heard a robotic voice inside his head.

‘Your system has been successfully activated’.

He looked around to know where the voice came from. He saw no one in sight. He became confused. The voice in his head continued to speak

‘My name is X, I am the system inbuilt into your body. You need to stay alive activated me. Those fireballs came from your hands. You’ve got a lot to learn about yourself’. He was still in shock and at the same time trying to process what was going on. He was a lone wolf at this point, lost in the very middle of the chaos that tore the world apart. Zombies were still revenging the whole place. He had to be careful while moving. He again tried to lift the wreck that clamped his legs down, this time he lifted them effortlessly like he was twice as strong as he used to be. He scanned the room for an emergency phone. Luckily one was close to where he was. He stood up as quietly as he could and tiptoed toward where the phone was. Halfway to the emergency phone, a zombie spotted him. He stopped in his tracks, hoping the zombie would ignore him but it didn’t. It made a nasty sound and then began to run towards him.

‘hmmm… X, are you there? This is the point where you help me out with those fireballs’. He said to the system in his head while he stretched out his hands. No fireballs came out. Maybe he was doing it wrong. So he decided to try a closed fist with an outstretched hand. The zombie was close now and he became anxious. His military training without a gun was useless against this vicious creature.

‘X!’ he screamed while his hands remained stretched out waiting for fireballs to come out of them. It was obvious X wasn’t coming to his aid this time. The zombie came upon him with so much force that it threw him to the ground. He used his hands to wedge the zombie’s mouth from reaching his neck. The stench that came out from its breath was nauseating, he felt like throwing up. But now wasn’t the time to let little inconveniencies bother him, he was in a life and death situation. Proximal to his right side was an iron rod which laid a few meters away from him. Without giving it much thought, he used his left hand to continue to wedge the zombie from biting his neck off while he extended his right hands to grab the rod.

He soon discovered that the rod was further away just a few centimeters that his hands could barely reach it. The zombie was already closing in on the space between it and his neck. He extending his hands, in a desperate bid to reach the rod while using his other hands to hold off the zombie. His left hands were already aching from holding the zombie off and his right hands were not going to reach the rod.

That's why I say we have no hope for change except by force. This country has been taken over by corrupt politicians for over 45 years. Everyone one that in government from the past 45 years has baggage. They all need to be put on trial and investigated.i do home work .....https://www.easywork2.com/
