Sunject: Some things i the plants.
Time:10-40 pm
Plants play the first role in human survival. Because without plants, people do not get oxygen, and without oxygen, people can never live. So our need for trees to survive is unparalleled.
The great trees of the past were buried in the ground. The wood of those trees is converted into coal through a special process. So coal also comes indirectly from plants. In other words, we have to directly or indirectly depend on plants for the construction of buildings. Then there is the furniture. Most of the furniture like chairs, tables, cupboards, cots, chairs, dressing tables etc. are made of wood.
Paper is an essential commodity of civilization. Paper is needed for the books that are read to gain knowledge. That is, paper is the vehicle of knowledge. The main material of paper is also plant. Newsprint is the paper on which news is printed. News print is produced in our country. Its raw material is the tree of Sundarbans. Books are printed and written on white paper. The main raw materials of white paper are bamboo and sugarcane straw. In other words, we are dependent on plants for paper, which is the main material of current civilization.Diseases and germs are spreading around us. So we get sick from time to time. Sometimes I get a little sick, sometimes I fall seriously ill. But for that we need the right medicine. Allopathy, homeopathy, Kabiraji, Unani, Ayurvedi--about 80 percent of all medicinal systems are derived from various plants. And most of the food comes from plants. Penicillin, terramycin, streptomycin, aureomycin etc. valuable antibiotic drugs are collected from very small plants.
When people feel a little tired and tired after working or reading, they want to have a cup of tea or coffee. Where does tea and coffee come from? Tea comes from the young leaves of the tea plant and coffee comes from the seeds of the coffee plant. Our country has these tea gardens in Sylhet and Chittagong. Apart from that coffee plantation in Sylhet is very important to us as it provides us oxygen and cleans our air by breaking down carbon dioxide. Trees also give us shade, fruit and shelter. Earth without plants would be somewhat like Mars with an atmospheric pressure of about 0.7 psi (1/100 that of sea level). Essentially oxygen masks our death gas of nitrogen tetroxide which makes up 95% of the Martian atmosphere. Without trees this world would be really hot and without plants the world would never be colorful because they form most of the life on earth! Let us pledge to always protect the trees. The role of plants in protecting the environment is very wide. Plants help balance various gases in the air. If the level of carbon dioxide in the air is too high, the temperature rises, because the gas absorbs heat. What is now known as the Green House Effect is due to this. Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the air and help reduce the level of the greenhouse effect. On the other hand, adding oxygen to the air helps maintain the ratio of various gases in the atmosphere. Thus, plants keep the air clean by reducing air pollution. Plants help in precipitation. In the absence of vegetation, the fertile productive soil gradually turns into desert. Rainfall is needed to maintain soil fertility. Plants are necessary to produce rain.
The role of plants in preventing soil erosion is immense. Protects the soil from erosion by reducing the speed and force of rain. Plants are essential in maintaining biodiversity by anchoring the soil to its roots and preventing its erosion. Plants provide food and shelter for numerous species of animals. People get food, medicine, fuel, house construction etc. from plants, moreover, plants increase the beauty of the environment and bring joy to people. Plants play the most helpful role in improving both physical and mental health of people by reducing environmental pollution and increasing environmental beauty. The immense importance of plants has been realized not only in the present but also since ancient times. In ancient times nature was worshiped or trees were worshiped by a class of people. Many pir-fakir shelters have also been built under trees.
We are responsible for the environmental crisis we are currently suffering from. So everyone has something to do to get rid of this crisis. Due to urbanization, industrialization, modernization of agriculture, etc., the environmental crisis is increasing. But it is not at all possible to stop or reduce the speed of industrialization-urbanization. So there is a need to try to maintain a balance between development and conservation. In this case plants can play the most important and effective role. Every human can contribute to the conservation and growth of plants. I just want people's attitude and perspective to change, I want environmental awareness.
Today we hear a lot about formal planting of trees. Trees are planted through government departments and various events. Environment Day is celebrated. But it is mostly limited to mere formalities. In reality, it does not benefit the environment much. Tree seedlings planted in one season are not able to meet the next season. Can a tree seedling planted by a famous person whose feet do not fall on the ground become a tree? By planting trees, they come in the light of publicity, but the trees planted by them do not see the light of the next season. To plant trees, I want real love for trees. I want love for the environment. I want to change the mechanical mentality of modern people. Our concern about the environment should not be limited to classrooms, seminars, meetings and speeches, it needs real reflection. Although it is beyond the ability of ordinary people to completely prevent the environmental crisis, it is possible to reduce its level. There is no doubt that only plants can not completely prevent environmental pollution, but can also reduce it to a great extent. This work is within the reach of common people. Homes, roads, government offices, schools-colleges can be planted everywhere. If everyone is sincere about this, our environment can be made pollution-free and green. But planting a tree is not the last thing, it has to be saved.
The rainy season is coming. Suitable time for planting trees. Let us all plant as many saplings as possible in the courtyards of our homes in schools, colleges, mosques, madrasas and all educational institutions and grow them through care and maintenance. Remember that you should not only plant saplings yourself but also encourage others like family members and classmates to do this great work. like this
But the worst part id we are destroying this unconditional friend. When they need just little caring and love that will help them to grow. But nope we don't want this.In our country there was 17% forest of whole land. Now it's just 11%.How fast it's going down.
